SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND ENFORCING COLLABORATION CONTROLS ACROSS HETEROGENEOUS COLLABORATION PLATFORMS

A data security system interfaces with a plurality of heterogeneous online collaboration platforms, each having its own platform specific set of collaboration settings to control access to collaborative data. The data security system maps a set of common collaboration settings to the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform and monitors a state of the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform. If the data security system determines that the state of a platform specific collaboration setting does not comply with a specified common collaboration setting state, the data security system automatically changes the state of the platform specific collaboration setting to comply with the common collaboration setting state.

Aggregating alarms into clusters to display service-affecting events on a graphical user interface

Systems and methods are provided for correlating alarms throughout a multi-layer network and visualizing alarm clusters in a display of an interactive Graphical User Interface (GUI) to enable a network operator to prioritize urgent network issues. In one embodiment, an interactive GUI includes a main display area configured to display one or more geometrical shapes representing one or more alarm clusters, respectively. Each alarm cluster may represent a potential root-cause event in a network. The interactive GUI also includes one or more interactive objects that, when selected by a user, provide additional information associated with the one or more alarm clusters.

Ranking alerts based on network monitoring

Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic. A monitoring engine may monitor network traffic associated with a plurality of entities in networks to provide metrics. And provide a device relation model based on the plurality of entities, the network traffic, and the metrics. An inference engine may associate each entity in the plurality of entities with an importance score based on the device relation model and the metrics such that each importance score is associated with a significance of an entity to operations of the networks. An alert engine may generate a plurality of alerts associated with the plurality of entities based on the metrics. And provide one or more alerts from the plurality of alerts to one or more users based on one or more ranked importance scores associated with one or more entities.

System, method, and computer program for determining a network situation in a communication network

A system, method, and computer program product are provided for a determining a network situation in a communication network. In use, at least one threshold value of at least one operational parameter of a communication network is obtained, the at least one operational parameter representing at least one operational status of at least one of a computational device or a communication device. Additionally, log data of the communication network is obtained, the log data containing at least one value of the at least one operational parameter reported by at least one network entity of the communication network. The at least one value of the at least one operational parameter of the log data is compared with a corresponding threshold value of the at least one threshold value to form a detection of a network situation. Further, the detection of the network situation is reported if the at least one value of the at least one operational parameter of the log data traverses the corresponding threshold value of the at least one threshold value.

System and method for detecting smoke using a sensor

An improved system and method for detecting smoke using a sensor is disclosed. The method can comprise the steps of storing in memory a plurality of smoke signatures, wherein each of the smoke signatures relates to how the sensor senses one of a plurality of particulates, each of the plurality of particulates indicative or non-indicative of a fire, and receiving current data from the sensor. Moreover, the method can comprise the steps of comparing the current data with the plurality of smoke signatures to determine if the current data matches any of the plurality of smoke signatures, and initiating an alarm sequence based at least in part on a determination as to whether the current data matches a smoke signature related to a fire-indicative particulate of the plurality of particulates.

Data center issue resolution prioritization

A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing a data center monitoring and management operation. The data center monitoring and management operation includes: monitoring a plurality of data center assets contained within a data center; identifying a plurality of data center issues based upon the monitoring; performing a data center issue grooming operation, the data center issue grooming operation identifying a number of data center issues from the plurality of data center issues; and performing a data center issue prioritization operation, the data center issue prioritization operation prioritizing the number of data center issues from the plurality of data center issues, the prioritizing being for at least one of resolution and remediation.

Wireless access network element status reporting

A wireless access network element wirelessly exchanges user data with wireless User Equipment (UEs) and exchanges the user data with other network elements. The wireless access network element generates status indicators that characterize the wireless access network element during the user data exchanges. The wireless access network element identifies priorities for the status indicators. The wireless access network element receives load data from a network element manager. The wireless access network element processes the load data and the priorities to determine individual reporting times for the status indicators. The wireless access network element transfers the individual status indicators to the network element management system per the individual reporting times.

Systems and methods for monitoring and enforcing collaboration controls across heterogeneous collaboration platforms

A data security system collects collaboration platform collaboration settings through interfaces and analyzes those settings against a policy of common collaboration settings for security and compliance. The data security system interfaces with a plurality of heterogeneous online collaboration platforms, each having its own platform specific set of collaboration settings to control access to collaborative data. The data security system maps the set of common collaboration settings to the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform from the plurality of heterogeneous online collaboration platforms and monitors a state of the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform. Based on a determination that a platform specific collaboration setting does not comply with the collaboration setting policy, the data security system can take a remedial action or other action.

WIRELESS ACCESS NETWORK ELEMENT STATUS REPORTING

A wireless communication network manages a wireless access node. The wireless access node wirelessly exchanges user data with wireless User Equipment (UEs) and exchanges the user data with one or more network elements. The wireless access node generates status indicators that characterize wireless access node operation during the user data exchanges. An Element Management System (EMS) determines EMS load based on EMS operation and transfers load data that indicates the EMS load for delivery to the wireless access node. The wireless access node receives the load data transferred by the EMS. The wireless access node identifies individual priorities for individual ones of the status indicators. The wireless access node determines individual reporting times for the individual ones of the status indicators based on the load data and the individual priorities. The wireless access node transfers the individual ones of the status indicators to the EMS per the individual reporting times.
