Logging incident manager

Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with intelligently processing log messages are described. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes analyzing, by a logging appliance that includes at least hardware, communications received from a plurality of handlers to determine whether at least one of the communications indicates an error has been encountered by one of a plurality of components associated with the plurality of handlers. The method includes scheduling a subset of the plurality of handlers to provide reports that include a detailed set of log messages in response to detecting the error. The subset of the plurality of handlers includes handlers that are associated with the error.

Vehicle fault handling method, apparatus, device and storage medium

The present application provides a vehicle fault handling method, an apparatus and a storage medium, the method includes: acquiring in real-time, by a first vehicle fault handling device, status information of a second vehicle fault handling device, where the first vehicle fault handling device is further configured to monitor a main system of a vehicle in real-time, the second vehicle fault handling device is configured to monitor a first computing device, and the first vehicle fault handling device and the main system are provided in the first computing device; determining, by the first vehicle fault handling device, whether a fault has occurred in the second vehicle fault handling device according to the status information thereof; and performing, by the first vehicle fault handling device, fault handling if a fault has occurred in the second vehicle fault handling device.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING ERRORS IN LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing error detection in a network, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing error and/or fault detection in a network and/or media stream and providing options to address the error and/or fault in the network and/or media stream. In various embodiments, a computer might detect an error in a first network and send a notification indicating that the error has occurred. The notification might contain one or more options to address the error in the first network. The computer, a user device, a service provider device, or a content provider device might receive and display the notification containing the one or more options. The computer, the user device, the service provider device, or the content provider device might then select at least one of the one or more options to address the error in the first network.

Route calculation method, route calculation apparatus and program

A computer executes a first determination procedure determining a first link which at least partially overlaps a disaster area representing a range reached by an influence of a predetermined disaster, among links constituting a network, a second determination procedure determining a second link which at least partially overlaps a road area representing a range of a road width of a predetermined road used to recover from the disaster, among the links constituting the network, a route search procedure searching for a plurality of routes from a start point node to an end point node constituting the network, a grouping procedure grouping the plurality of routes searched for by the route search procedure into groups depending on a first parameter value that is based on the first link included in the routes, a computing procedure computing, for each of the plurality of routes searched for by the route search procedure, a second parameter value that is based on the first link and the second link included in the routes, and a selecting procedure selecting a predetermined number of routes among one or more routes grouped into the same group on the basis of the second parameter value computed by the computing procedure for each of the groups grouped by the grouping procedure.

A computerized system for detecting connections in a network, including one or more data collectors configured to collect connection data from the network, one or more connection analyzers configured to analyze the connection data and extract connection dependencies, which include a connecting resource that depends on the existence of a connected resource and a connection type, a connection table that stores the connection dependencies, an interface that is configured to provide access to the connection table to retrieve a list of connecting resources that depend on accessing a given connected resource.

Self-healing telco network function virtualization cloud

Examples herein describe systems and methods for self-healing in a Telco network function virtualization cloud. KPI attributes for virtual network functions can be mapped to physical fault notifications to create synthesized alerts. The synthesized alerts can include information from both a virtual and physical layer, allowing a self-healing action framework to determine root causes of problems in the Telco cloud. Remedial actions can then be performed in either the virtual or physical layer of the Telco cloud. Remedial actions in one layer can be based on root causes identified in the other, which can allow for remediation before network downtime occurs.

WIRELESS DEVICE AND METHODS FOR USE THEREWITH

A wireless device includes a user interface that generates a pairing signal in response to an indication from a user to pair the wireless device to at least one remote device and generates a first location request signal in response to a second indication from a user to locate the at least one remote device. A short-range wireless transceiver communicates RF signals to pair the wireless device to the at least one remote device and that transmits a first RF paging signal to the at least one remote device in response to the location request signal.

Mobile communication device for home automation

A mobile communication devices operates to: generate first control data to control an auxiliary device coupled to one of a plurality of home automation devices; establish a group of the plurality of home automation devices; establish at least one task associated with the group of the plurality of home automation devices; receive selection of the at least one task associated with the group of the plurality of home automation devices; and generate second control data in response to selection of the at least one task associated with the group, wherein, responsive to the selection of the at least one task associated with the group, at least one of the plurality of wireless transceivers transmits the second control data to the group of the plurality of home automation devices to control, in accordance with the at least one task, each of the auxiliary devices coupled thereto.

Event-level granular control in an event bus using event-level policies

A message-level policy implemented with for a message routing system may be used to mediate between a variety of message sources and message targets that receive and use messages. The message-level policy may allow fine grained message-by-message policy assessment that a message routing system policy may be able to provide. The message-level policy may furthermore interact with the message routing system policy to provide mechanisms to avoid accidental leakage of protected messages or spill-over to protected regions.
