Service monitoring interface with an aggregate key performance indicator of a service and aspect key performance indicators of aspects of the service

A method is disclosed that includes receiving a request to display a service-monitoring user interface that illustrates performance of one or more services that are each provided by one or more entities. Each service is associated with a stored service definition that identifies the one or more entities, and each entity is associated with stored entity definition information that identifies machine data produced by or about the entity from one or more sources. The method further includes causing display of the service-monitoring user interface illustrating performance of each service via an aggregate key performance indicator (KPI) that characterizes a respective service as a whole, and a plurality of aspect KPIs that each characterize an aspect of an associated service. Each KPI is defined by a search query that produces a value derived from the machine data identified by the entity definition information, the value indicative of a measure of the service at a point in time or during a period of time. The machine data is produced by one or more components within an information technology environment and reflects activity within the information technology environment.

Online advertisement fraud detection

A fraud monitor in a managed network is provided. The fraud monitor uses the network's instrumentation data, configuration data, and account information to detect fraudulent activities in the network, such as fraudulent advertisement or other types of fraudulent data traffic, including fraudulent responses (e.g., fraudulent clicks) to advertisement. The fraud monitor receives configuration data and identification data for physical resources of the network. The fraud monitor receives instrumentation data of packet traffic in the network. The fraud monitor receives account information for users of the network. The fraud monitor analyzes the instrumentation data to detect a violation of a fraud detection policy that prevents malicious or fraudulent online advertisement activity based on the configuration data, identification data, or account information.

Embodiments of this application provide a service management method and apparatus, so as to cover service level indication information at interfaces between various management network elements in NFV MANO, and further perform differentiated resource allocation and fault recovery for services based on the service level indication information. The service management method includes: receiving, by a first management unit, a first message sent by a second management unit, where the first message includes first identification information, the first identification information is used to obtain first information, the first information includes information used to obtain first service level information, and the first information is a network service NS deployment flavor DF or a virtualized network function VNF deployment flavor DF; and determining, by the first management unit, the first service level information based on the first identification information and the first information.

Deep fusion reasoning engine (DFRE) for dynamic and explainable wireless network QoE metrics

In one embodiment, a network quality assessment service that monitors a network obtains multimodal data indicative of a plurality of measurements from the network and subjective perceptions of the network by users of the network. The network quality assessment service uses the obtained multimodal data as input to one or more neural network-based models. The network quality assessment service maps, using a conceptual space, outputs of the one or more neural network-based models to symbols. The network quality assessment service applies a symbolic reasoning engine to the symbols, to generate a conclusion regarding the monitored network. The network quality assessment service provides an indication of the conclusion to a user interface.

Bandwidth part configuration for network slicing

A slice manager associated with a network access point of a telecommunication network can manage combinations of network slices and bandwidth parts for user equipment (UE). The bandwidth parts can have independently set numerologies, such as subcarrier spacing values. The UE can be configured to use one or more active bandwidth parts at a time, such that the slice manager can instruct the UE to use multiple active bandwidth parts simultaneously with respect to the same network slice or multiple network slices.
