COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN IMPROVED SELF ORGANIZING NETWORK
Disclosed are systems and methods for a robust Self-Organizing Network (SON) framework that quantifies SON applications' control and management of a network into key performance indicators (KPI) that are leveraged to determine the impact of a SON application's effectiveness in regulating network parameters, which then dictates how the SON application operates. The disclosed framework is configured to receive multiple data streams from existing data sources, determine the performance of a node on a network, and then automatically perform SON operations based therefrom. The disclosed framework can utilize this information to predict additional and/or future opportunities for SON automation on the network, which can be based on an aggregate determination of a net performance gain (NPG) of the SON applications. The framework can leverage the NPG to modify, configure and/or further maintain network operations so as to improve control and management of the network and the applications operating thereon.

NF service consumer restart detection using direct signaling between NFs
Systems and methods for detecting, e.g., that a Network Function (NF) service consumer in a core network of a cellular communications system has restarted are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a NF service consumer in a core network of a cellular communications system comprises sending, to a NF service producer, a message comprising information related to a unit of the NF service consumer.
Generation, validation and implementation of storage-orchestration strategies using virtual private array (VPA) in a dynamic manner
A data storage management layer comprises computing device(s), operatively connected to storage resources, which comprise data storage units and control units. The data storage management layer is operatively connected to the storage resources. They are operatively connected to host computers. A sub-set of the storage resources are assigned to each host, in order to provide storage services according to performance requirements predefined for the host, thereby generating Virtual Private Arrays (VPA). The computing device(s) are configured to perform a method of managing the data storage system comprising: (a) implement storage management strategies, comprising rules. The rules comprise conditions and actions. The actions are capable of improving VPA performance in a dynamic manner; (b) repetitively performing: (i) monitor VPA performance for detection of compliance of VPA with the condition(s); and (ii) responsive to detection of compliance of VPA with the condition(s), performing the action(s).
Provision of data analytics in a telecommunication network
A communication method and a system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT) is provided. The disclosure is applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car, a connected car, health care, digital education, a smart retail, security and safety services. A method performed by a first entity performing a network data analytics function (NWDAF) is provided. The method includes receiving, from a second entity performing network function (NF), a first message for requesting observed service experience analytics, the first message including single-network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) indicating a network slice, transmitting, to a third entity performing application function (AF) associated with the S-NSSAI, a second message for requesting service data associated with the observed service experience analytics, the second message including information on at least one application, receiving, from the third entity, the service data including at least one service experience for the at least one application, identifying the observed service experience analytics based on the service data, and transmitting, to the second entity, the observed service experience analytics.
TENANT-DRIVEN DYNAMIC RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR VIRTUAL NETWORK FUNCTIONS
Techniques for tenant-driven dynamic resource allocation in network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI). In one example, an orchestration system is operated by a data center provider for a data center and that orchestration system comprises processing circuitry coupled to a memory; logic stored in the memory and configured for execution by the processing circuitry, wherein the logic is operative to: compute an aggregate bandwidth for a plurality of flows associated with a tenant of the data center provider and processed by a virtual network function, assigned to the tenant, executing on a server of the data center; and modify, based on the aggregate bandwidth, an allocation of compute resources of the server executing the virtual network function.
Wireless communication network audio data packet loss diagnostics and visualization system
A processor-implemented method includes receiving, from a mobile device, transmission information corresponding to an audio data transmission associated with an audio data packet loss of one or more audio data packets. The processor determines, based at least in part on the transmission information, a geographic region associated with a wireless communication network transceiver. The processor further determines an average audio data packet loss rate associated with the geographic region and a correlation between the audio data packet loss and at least one key performance indicator (KPI). The KPI is indicative of the audio data transmission. Based at least in part on (i) the average audio data packet loss rate and (ii) the correlation between the audio data packet loss and the at least one KPI, the processor generates a handover instruction comprising at least one threshold value for transitioning control from a first cell channel to a second cell channel.
