A data intermediary system includes a processor and a storage unit. The storage unit stores, for a plurality of services used by a user in the past, provision situation information indicating data for each item of the data provided to a service provider to use the service. The processor acquires information indicating an item of data requested, by the service provider, acquires the provision situation of data of the same item as the item of the data requested by the service provider, determines that an item of the data whose provision situation satisfies a predetermined condition is provided to the service provider, and controls distribution of the data to the service provider that that holds the data of the item determined to be provided.

POLICY IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT

The present invention addresses the need for improved virtualized cloud infrastructure policy implementation and management in order allow real-time monitoring and optimization of virtualized resources. It provides systems and methods for real-time cloud infrastructure policy implementation and management that include a plurality of host devices, a plurality of real-time probe agents associated with the plurality of host devices operating on each of the plurality of host devices, and a policy engine communicatively coupled to the plurality of host devices and containing a policy associated with an application program deployed in at least one of the plurality of host devices. The policy engine is programmed to monitor in real time changes in deployment of the application program across the plurality of host devices and to push the policy to the real-time probe agent operating on each host device on which the application program is deployed.

Derivation of network service descriptor from network service requirements

A Network Service Descriptor (NSD) is generated, from Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) existing in a VNF catalog, for instantiating a network service which satisfies given network service requirements. From the VNF catalog, a system selects VNFs that provide functionalities and architectural blocks required to fulfill the NS requirements. The system generates at least a VNF forwarding graph (VNFFG), which includes relations between the functionalities and the architectural blocks of the selected VNFs as well as traffic flows between the selected VNFs. The system then creates the NSD, which includes the VNFFG, for instantiating the network service.

Secure creation of application containers for fifth generation cellular network slices

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for the secure creation of application containers for 5G slices. A MEC application in a MEC layer of a 5G network can be associated with a specific network slice of the 5G network. A backhaul routing policy for the MEC application can be defined based on the association of the MEC application with the specific network slice of the 5G network. Further, a SID for the MEC application that associates the MEC application with a segment routing tunnel through a backhaul of the 5G network can be generated. A MEC layer access policy for the MEC application can be defined based on the SID for the MEC application. As follows, access to the MEC application through the 5G network can be controlled based on both the backhaul routing policy for the MEC application and the MEC layer access policy for the application.

A method and system for adaptive determination of network slice configuration and resource requirement is disclosed. The method includes creating a service requirement set based on a service request. The method further includes determining enhancements and adjustments to be done in the service requirement set based on a plurality of user entitlements corresponding to the user associated with the service request. The method further includes generating an updated service requirement set based on the enhancements and adjustments applied on the service requirement set. The method further includes determining a network slice template hierarchy based on the updated service requirement set. The method further includes determining a resource requirement corresponding to each of the plurality of network sub-nets based on the updated service requirement set, the plurality of user entitlements, and dynamic network context.

A method, performed by an electronic device, of placing a micro network function, includes: determining at least one micro network function used for a service; predicting control signaling overhead of at least one cell including at least one cell edge cloud, based on a history of control signaling overhead of the at least one cell; and placing the at least one micro network function in the at least one cell edge cloud, based on the predicted control signaling overhead of the at least one cell.

Validation and governance of a cloud computing platform based datacenter

A system receives one or more modifications to a platform-independent declarative specification from a set of data center entity owner teams to generate a modified platform-independent declarative specification that captures various aspects for deploying a data center on a target cloud platform. The system performs end-to-end validation of the modifications in multiple phases, starting with validating the modifications based on a set of predefined rules associated with the modified platform-independent declarative specification. When all the multiple phases of validation indicate success, the system a notification of end-to-end validation success in association with the received changes. Each request to modify a data center entity in the platform-independent declarative specification undergoes governance checks to ensure that the approver of the request belongs to a predefined set of owners associated with the data center entity.

Dynamically modifying service delivery parameters

In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for dynamically modifying parameters for the delivery of data services over a network. For instance, in one example, a plurality of network slices is provided in a communications network. Each network slice of the plurality of network slices is configured to carry data over the communications network subject to a different combination of network service metrics. When a triggering event is detected in data carried over the communications network using a default slice of the plurality of network slices, the data is dynamically reassigned from the default network slice to a new network slice of the plurality of network slices in response to the detecting.
