A live media production function (LMPF) provisions a live media production service and live media service in a 5G system. The LMPF may be deployed as a virtual or physical network function in a 5G network or as an application function interfacing with the 5G network over a standardized interface.

A content delivery network (CDN) includes a plurality of CDN components including at least one CDN rendezvous mechanism and at least one control core. The CDN components are controlled by control core data from the at least one control core. Some CDN components obtain CDN resources including control core data from at least some other CDN components. The CDN components use the CDN rendezvous mechanism to select one or more CDN components from which to obtain CDN resources.

A video based maintenance method, a maintenance terminal, a server, a system, and a storage medium. The method includes: receiving, by a maintenance terminal, a maintenance order sent by a server, wherein the maintenance order is generated according to a maintenance request sent by a client, and the maintenance order comprises customer information, faulty product information and fault information; and wherein the fault information comprises one or more troubleshooting points; receiving, by the maintenance terminal, a video stream sent by the client; and recording, by the maintenance terminal, troubleshooting information of the troubleshooting points, and sending the troubleshooting information to the server.

A digital service evaluation system evaluates services and user sessions provided by a service, to provide an overall score of the service. The digital service evaluation system detects client sessions associated with one or more devices. The digital service evaluation system obtains a first plurality of scores associated with performance metrics of the client session, and calculates an overall score for the client session. The digital service evaluation system obtains a second plurality of scores and calculates a second overall score. The digital service evaluation system determines a weight for each performance metric based on the first and second plurality of scores and the overall scores. The digital service evaluation system uses the weights to determine which performance metric caused a change in the overall scores. The digital service evaluation system takes an action based on the determination that a performance metric caused a change in the overall scores.

Disclosed is a method and system for a single broadband portal where all content may be delivered to users of varied electronic devices. An example embodiment (i) provides a user interface for enabling user selection of media contents per varied electronic devices, each varied electronic device having a respective platform, the user interface indicating one or more different possible media contents; (ii) accepts from a user requests for distribution service to any of the varied electronic devices of the user, the requests specifying a user desired media content; (ii) locates the user desired media content from a plurality of storage modules; (iv) transmits the user desired media content to at least one of the varied electronic devices of the user; and (v) tracks the transmission of the user desired media content for billing purposes.

A device implementing a system for packet loss management may include a memory and at least one processor configured to identify a plurality of categories of packets provided for transmission to an electronic device. The at least one processor may be further configured to determine a respective packet loss value for a respective category of the plurality of categories of packets. The at least one processor may be further configured to identify a particular category of the plurality of categories of packets for which the determined respective packet loss value satisfies a packet loss condition. The at least one processor may be further configured to adjust subsequent transmission of packets in the particular category of packets based at least in part on the packet loss condition being satisfied by the determined respective packet loss value for the particular category of packets.

Systems and methods for capturing and monitoring the health, safety, and/or activity of a user are described. In one aspect, the system generates a data usage pattern for the user and monitors the user's current data usage activity to detect data usage deviations from the user's usage pattern. When a deviation is detected, the system may send an alert message to the user or another user indicating that an anomaly may have occurred, permitting the user or another user to respond to the anomaly.

Systems and methods for capturing and monitoring the health, safety, and/or activity of a user are described. A method includes receiving user input indicating a selection of a subset of two or more of a plurality of audio layers for media content to be provided to a user, each of the subset of audio layers corresponding to one or more audio sources, receiving second user input indicating volume levels for the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers, capturing, based on the first user input, the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers for a media content item to be provided to the user, and creating an output audio layer for the media content item by mixing the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers without including other audio layers of the plurality of audio layers, the output audio layer reflecting the volume levels indicated by the second user input. The method further includes causing the media content item to be provided to the user using the output audio layer reflecting the indicated volume levels.
