An e-gaming entertainment system includes a central control platform, a plurality of light devices and a plurality of audio devices. The central control platform receives light adjustment instructions or sound adjustment instructions, converts the light adjustment instructions or the sound adjustment instructions into light adjustment execution commands or sound adjustment execution commands, and sends the light adjustment execution commands or the sound adjustment execution commands through a wired or wireless way forward to the light devices or audio devices correspondingly. The light devices receive the light adjustment execution commands and perform light adjustment operations. The audio devices receive the sound adjustment execution commands and perform sound adjustment operations. The e-gaming entertainment system is efficient and convenient. The central control platform controls multiple light devices and audio devices in a wireless or wired manner. Also, the connected devices can be increased or decreased flexibly.

Split-screen presentation based on user location and controller location

A method for managing multi-player interactivity with an interactive application is provided, including the following operations: determining locations of a first controller, a second controller, a first user, and a second user; pairing the first controller to the first user based on the location of the first controller and the location of the first user; pairing the second controller to the second user based on the location of the second controller and the location of the second user; presenting a split-screen view of the interactive application, wherein presenting the split-screen view includes setting positions of a first view and a second view within the split-screen view based on one or more of the locations of the first user, the second user, the first controller, or the second controller.

Virtual reality immersion

Provided is a method, computer program product, and virtual reality system for mapping detected external stimuli to visual stimuli within a virtual reality simulation. A processor may detect an audio stimulus external to a virtual reality simulation. The processor may compare a noise level of the detected external audio stimulus to a threshold noise level relative to internal audio in the virtual reality simulation. The processor may identify, in response to determining that the noise level of the detected external audio stimulus is greater than the threshold noise level, a sound corresponding to the detected external audio stimulus. The processor may retrieve environmental factors of the virtual reality simulation. The processor may map the detected external audio stimulus to a visual stimulus in the virtual reality simulation based on the identified type of sound and the environmental factors. The processor may produce the visual stimulus in the virtual reality simulation.

System and method for managing audio and video channels for video game players and spectators

A computer-implemented system and method are described for managing audio chat for an online video game or application. For example, a system according to one embodiment comprises: an online video game or application execution engine to execute an online video game or application in response to input from one or more users of the video game or application and to responsively generate audio and video of the video game or application; and a chat subsystem to establish audio chat sessions with the one or more users and one or more spectators to the video game or application, the chat subsystem establishing a plurality of audio chat channels including a spectator channel over which the spectators participate in audio chat and a user channel over which the users participate in audio chat.
