Efficient method for accessing image data stored in a cloud
11252102 · 2022-02-15 · ·

A device transmits a request to access image data stored in a cloud and then receives an access path to the image data. If the image data are in a first data format, the device reads the image data via the access path, converts them into the second data format, and stores the converted image data in the cloud. It also modifies the access path according to a modification rule and stores the modified access path in the cloud. If the image data are in the second data format, the device either always reads the image data in the second data format via the access path or checks whether a special instruction has been defined. On the basis of the special instruction, the device either reads the image data in the second data format via the access path or remodifies the access path using the modification rule.

A system for allocating a different class of service to each network connection in a plurality of network connections, where each network connection corresponds to one or more virtual channels. The system can include a plurality of virtual channels that connect a first computer and a second computer. Each virtual channel can service at least a portion of the network traffic generated using a remote-display protocol. The system can also include a plurality of network connections, where each network connection corresponds to at least one of the virtual channels. Each network connection of the system can have an assigned port number and an assigned class of service that corresponds to a transmission priority level. The class of service assigned to each network connection can be unique from the classes of service assigned to other network connections.

Lossless time based data acquisition and control in a distributed system

Systems and methods for mapping a time-based data acquisition (DAQ) to an isochronous data transfer channel of a network. A buffer associated with the isochronous data transfer channel of the network may be configured. A clock and a local buffer may be configured. A functional unit may be configured to initiate continuous performance of the time-based DAQ, transfer data to the local buffer, initiate transfer of the data between the local buffer and the buffer at a configured start time, and repeat the transferring and initiating transfer in an iterative manner, thereby transferring data between the local buffer and the buffer. The buffer may be configured to communicate data over the isochronous data transfer channel of the network, thereby mapping the time-based DAQ to the isochronous data transfer channel of the network.

Architecture Customization at User Application Layer

The disclosure includes a system and method for allocating a workflow for an application between a server and a client based on user context in usage of the application, and customizing user views based on the execution of the workflow. A customization module receives user input, identifies a type of an application based on the user input, determines a workflow for the application, partitions the workflow to a first portion of the workflow executed on a client and a second portion of the workflow executed on a server, and generates one or more user interfaces corresponding to the execution of the first portion of the workflow, wherein the execution of the first portion of the workflow on the client is based on the execution of the second portion of the workflow on the server.

FLOW EXTENSION CONTROLLER

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for flow control. In one aspect, there is provided a method, wherein the method may include monitoring, by an external flow controller, a workflow at a first cloud application to determine whether at least one condition is satisfied to extend the workflow to a second cloud application external to the first cloud application; diverting, by the external flow controller, when the at least one condition is satisfied; handling, by the external flow controller, a request to divert the workflow to the second cloud application by at least formatting the request in accordance with configuration information at the external flow controller; sending, by the external flow controller, the workflow to the second cloud application; receiving, by the external flow controller, a result to incorporate into the workflow at the first cloud application; and/or proceeding with the workflow at the first cloud application.

Flow Tagging for Service Policy Implementation

A flow tagging technique includes tagging a data flow at a plurality of points in the data flow. For example, the data flow can be tagged at a socket and at a proxy manager API. By tagging the data flow at multiple points, it becomes possible to map network service usage activities to the appropriate initiating applications.
