MERGING COMMUNICATION SESSIONS BETWEEN USERS HAVING A COMMON GROUND
System, apparatus, and methods are described for monitoring communication sessions and determining to merge two or more of the communication sessions sharing a common ground into a common communication session. A common communication channel may be determined for the common communication session. The two or more communication sessions may be merged to generate the common communication session using the common communication channel.
Secure Video Conferencing System For A Meeting Room
A secure video conferencing system for a meeting room is discussed. The secure video conferencing system comprising a camera for capturing video of at least one writing board in the meeting room and to provide video data thereof; and processing circuitry, connected at least with the camera to receive the video data. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a change in room occupancy of the meeting room and to detect user content on the at least one writing board using the video data. The processing circuitry is further configured to provide a security notification if upon the determination of the change in room occupancy, user content is present on the at least one writing board.
APPLICATION AWARE ANNOTATIONS IN ONLINE COLLABORATIVE SESSIONS
An online collaborative session application executing on a processing device tracks a state of an application shared by the processing device over an online collaborative session. The online collaborative session application receives data indicative of an annotation made to an instance of the application as part of the online collaborative session. A first location of the annotation relative to the instance of the application is determined from the data indicative of the annotation and the state of the application. Based on the tracking, a change to the state of the application is determined. A second location of the annotation is determined based on the change of the state of the application.
DISTANCE-BASED FRAMING FOR AN ONLINE CONFERENCE SESSION
Distance-based framing includes obtaining at least a video stream during an online conference session. The video stream, an audio stream received with the video stream, or both the video stream and the audio stream are analyzed and a framing that either focuses on a speaker in the video stream or provides an overview of participants in the video stream, the framing being is composed based on the analyzing. A potential error in the framing is detected based on further analysis of at least one of the video stream, the audio stream, or distance sensor data received with the video stream. If the distance sensor data contradicts the potential error, the framing is maintained, but if the distance sensor data confirms the potential error, a new framing is generated.
Content pods for streaming media services
Methods and arrangements are provided for the generation and assembly of content pods for playback within an online streaming media service. A content pod is assembled to contain personal content that is relevant to an end user. In some embodiments, personal content can consist of traffic updates, voicemail messages, text messages, social media updates, and personal status updates. A content delivery system determines what personal content is available on the user device through connecting to available information sources. The delivery system then assembles the content pod from these elements in addition to invitational content from content providers. In some embodiments, a bumper message is included in the content pod to provide a context for the elements that are being assembled in combination with each other. Once the content pod is generated, it is sent to the user device to be played during content breaks within the online streaming playback.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-PARTY COMMUNICATION
A system and method provides for multi-party communication including engaging a network communication engine from a mobile communication interface and providing a user identification and a location indicator to the network communication engine. The method and system further includes receiving in the mobile communication interface a plurality of communication channels based on at least one of: the user identification and the location indicator and in response to a user selection of a selected communication channel, transmitting a channel engagement request to the network communication engine requesting connection of the user to the selected communication channel.
METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING RECORD OF TELEMEDICINE SERVICE
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a method for generating a record of a telemedicine service in a video call between at least two terminal devices is disclosed. The method includes obtaining authentication information of a user authorized to use the telemedicine service, receiving a sound stream of the video call from a terminal device of the at least two terminal devices, detecting a voice signal from the sound stream, verifying whether the voice signal is indicative of the user based on the authentication information, upon verifying that the voice signal is indicative of the user, continuing the video call to generate the record of the telemedicine service, and upon verifying that the voice signal is not indicative of the user, interrupting the video call.
Mobile communication method and mobile communication system
A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes the steps of: sending “INVITE” from a UE#1 to a P-CSCF/VATF in a visited network of the UE#1; sending “INVITE” from the P-CSCF/VATF to an IMS; and allocating, by the P-CSCF/VATF, an MGW#1 to the path for voice communications.
Collaboration handoff
A collaboration handoff method for seamlessly passing a communication session between devices includes connecting a first device and a second device to enable communication between the first and second devices using an intermediary device to initiate a communication session. A request may be received from one of the first device and a third device to switch to the third device for communication with the second device. Communication session data for the first device may be identified at the intermediary device. The third device may be connected with the second device within the communication session and the communication session data may be transmitted to the third device.
NETWORK NODE, IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM (IMS) NODE, OVER THE TOP (OTT) DIGITAL ASSISTANT, AND METHODS IN A COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A network node for handling access to sharing media in a media session in an Over The Top (OTT) Digital Assistant (DA). The media shall be shared between a first participant A and a second participant B in a communications network. The first participant A has access to sharing media in the media session in the OTT DA. The network node receives a request for access from the OTT DA. The request for access relates to the first participant A requesting access for the second participant B to sharing media in the media session in the OTT DA. The network node forwards the request to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) node in the communications network, to trigger the IMS node to switch on the sharing of media in the media session in the OTT DA for the second participant B, when authorised by the participant B.
