Centralized session management in an aggregated application environment
Embodiments of the invention provide a method, system and apparatus for centralized session management in an aggregated application environment. In one embodiment, a centralized session management method can include aggregating a set of applications in a host aggregation environment. Subsequently, each of the applications can be centrally kept alive so as to avoid a time out condition in any one of the applications so long as interactivity is detected within any one of the applications or within the host aggregation environment. In one aspect of the invention, the aggregating step can include aggregating a set of portlets in a portal environment.
TRUSTED ROUTING BETWEEN COMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEMS
An apparatus of a communication network system, which routes data packets and stores trusted routes between different communication network systems in a database, detects (S12) that a data packet requires a route with a specific level of trust, determines (S13), from the trusted routes stored in the database, a specific trusted route towards a destination as indicated in the data packet, and sets (S15) the data packet on the specific trusted route towards the destination.
SUPPORTING HITLESS UPGRADE OF CALL PROCESSING NODES IN CLOUD-HOSTED TELEPHONY SYSTEM
A method is provided in which a call agent process that supports one or more Internet Protocol (IP) calls, stores to persistent memory a set of data associated with the one or more IP calls. An outage is detected affecting the one or more IP calls. Using the data retrieved from the persistent memory, the one or more IP calls are resynthesized using a device simulator process to simulate connectivity with endpoints that were participating in the one or more IP calls prior to the outage. After resynthesizing, depending on activity detected from devices associated with the one or more IP calls, the one or more IP calls are internally re-stitched/re-establishing (without signaling to endpoints) with the endpoints involved in the one or more IP calls, or the one or more calls are fully re-stitched/re-established by signaling an endpoint that was participating in the one or more IP calls.
Data processing method and apparatus
Embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving a data packet sent by a server, and acquiring a type of the data packet; determining whether the type of the data packet is consistent with a type of a data packet processed by using a preset processing rule or a type of a protocol in a preset TCP/IP protocol stack to obtain a determining result; and if the type of the data packet is consistent with the type of the data packet processed by using the preset processing rule or the type of the protocol in the preset TCP/IP protocol stack, performing processing on the data packet according to the protocol in the preset TCP/IP protocol stack or the preset processing rule.
Link Management Method, Device and System in Virtual Machine Environment
At least some embodiments of invention provide a method, device and system for link management in a Virtual Machine (VM) environment. The method includes: a heartbeat handshake link is established with a VM. After the heartbeat handshake link is successfully established, Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) state information of a Physical Function (PF) of a plurality of a Network Interface Cards (NICs) is acquired. The LACP state information is sent to the VM through the heartbeat handshake link.
WIRELESS DEVICE OF A WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK COMMUNICATING WITH A DEVICE OF AN EXTERNAL NETWORK ON A TCP SESSION BEFORE AND AFTER DISASSOCIATION FROM THE WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
A wireless station associates with an access point to join a wireless local area network (WLAN). The access point is part of the WLAN and operates as a switching device between wireless stations of the WLAN. The wireless station forms a TCP session via the access point with an external device which is external to the WLAN. The wireless station exchanges (i.e., transmits and/or receives) a first sequence of packets on the TCP session. The wireless station receives a frame from the access point, the frame indicating that the wireless station has been disassociated after having associated earlier with the access point. The wireless station re-associates with the access point. The access point then communicates with the external device on the TCP session after re-associating, the communicating involving exchanging a second sequence of packets with the external device after the re-association.
Method and apparatus for negotiating “keep-alive” message frequencies of applications running on a mobile station
A method and apparatus are described for negotiating “keep-alive” message frequencies of applications running on a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). A node may include a negotiation and synchronization function (NSF) configured to collect information including frequencies of keep-alive messages required by application servers for different applications running on the WTRU, and send a keep-alive message frequency negotiation request message to the application servers to negotiate for a more proper frequency for each application on behalf of the WTRU. The node may further include a buffering and caching function (BCF) configured to cache and buffer application specific attributes including an indication of whether each of the applications needs to send periodic keep-alive messages to an associated application server. The node may be a packet data network gateway, a negotiation and caching gateway, or a serving gateway.
BILATERAL COMMUNICATION IN A LOGIN-FREE ENVIRONMENT
A method, medium, and apparatus for allowing evaluation of property, such as damaged property, remotely and efficiently. A mobile computing device may be used to conduct bilateral communication between a client and an agent for evaluating property. The communications may comprise methods and systems for reconnecting using login-free connections, and may further comprise methods and systems for determining that wait times exceed a threshold wait time and presenting the client an option to receive a call back.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO MANAGE CLOUD PROVIDER SESSIONS
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to manage cloud provider sessions. An example apparatus includes at least one non-transitory computer readable medium to store machine readable instructions and processor circuitry of a first device to execute the machine readable instructions to cause the processor circuitry based on a request to perform an action having a duration that is unspecified or sufficiently long, obtain a handle for a user token corresponding to a user that requested the action. Additionally, the processor circuitry is to, during performance of the action by a cloud provider, access the user token using the handle when the cloud provider requires user authorization, the user token to be accessed from a second device.
