Systems and methods for conference call system management
A system for facilitating the remote control of existing conference call systems. A company may use the system to allow a remote user interface to administer calls on its existing conference call system. The system may integrate web browsers and conference call systems using a socket policy server module, facilitating access to the features and data of the conference call system for the purpose of creating remote management user interfaces.
Method and network node for handling SCTP packets
A method and a network node for handling SCTP packets are disclosed. The network node provides a control instance of a control procedure for handling administrative chunks of the SCTP packets and at least one data instance of a data procedure for handling association specific chunks of the SCTP packets. With the control instance, the network node discards association specific chunks of a received SCTP packet, and processes administrative chunks of the received SCTP packet. With each of the at least one data instance, the network node discards administrative chunks and a first set of association specific chunks of the received SCTP packet, and processes a second set of association specific chunks of the received SCTP packet, wherein the second set of association specific chunks relates the respective set of said at least one association.
System and Method for Improving Content Fetching by Selecting Tunnel Devices
A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.

System and method for forwarding traffic of endpoint
Disclosed is a system for forwarding traffic of an endpoint. The system includes the endpoint configured to transmit traffic generated by an application to a server and a security gateway configured to receive the traffic from the endpoint and analyzes data related to information security of secure sockets layer (SSL) traffic among the traffic. Here, the endpoint includes a local redirection module configured to store redirection information including server connection information for transmitting the traffic to the server and to perform redirection related to transmission of the traffic and a local proxy module configured to decode the data with respect to the SSL traffic among the traffic received from the local redirection module and then to forward the decoded SSL traffic to the security gateway according to the redirection of the local redirection module.
MEMORY ALLOCATOR FOR I/O OPERATIONS
Some embodiments provide a novel method for sharing data between user-space processes and kernel-space processes without copying the data. The method dedicates, by a driver of a network interface controller (NIC), a memory address space for a user-space process. The method allocates a virtual region of the memory address space for zero-copy operations. The method maps the virtual region to a memory address space of the kernel. The method allows access to the virtual region by both the user-space process and a kernel-space process.
Methods and apparatus for memory allocation and reallocation in networking stack infrastructures
Methods and apparatus for memory allocation and reallocation in networking stack infrastructures. Unlike prior art monolithic networking stacks, the exemplary networking stack architecture described hereinafter includes various components that span multiple domains (both in-kernel, and non-kernel). For example, unlike traditional “socket” based communication, disclosed embodiments can transfer data directly between the kernel and user space domains. A user space networking stack is disclosed that enables extensible, cross-platform-capable, user space control of the networking protocol stack functionality. The user space networking stack facilitates tighter integration between the protocol layers (including TLS) and the application or daemon. Exemplary systems can support multiple networking protocol stack instances (including an in-kernel traditional network stack). Due to this disclosed architecture, physical memory allocations (and deallocations) may be more flexibly implemented.
Apparatus and method for adjusting network parameter
An electronic device includes a wireless communication modem; a processor; a volatile memory configured to be operatively connected to the processor; and a non-volatile memory configured to store at least one application program and to be operatively connected to the processor. The non-volatile memory may be configured to store, when executed, instructions that cause the processor to transmit and receive first data packets to and from the communication modem and to provide a network device interface including at least one first parameter related to processing of the first data packets, to receive requirement information related to the operation of the application program, and to adjust values of the at least one first parameter based on at least a part of the requirement information, and cause the network device interface to transmit and receive the first data packets using at least some of the adjusted values of the first parameters.
Method for industrial communication via TSN
A method is provided which enables industrial communication via the TSN protocol by means of sockets. Owing to the described method, the possibility of communicating with the socket programming known to the programmer via TSN streams is provided. As a result, simple use of the new TSN quality for simple Internet (IP) programming is possible. Existing applications can easily be expanded for TSN and can therefore benefit from the robustness of TSN in a simple manner. In addition, parallel operation is possible; the same mechanism is always used.
Methods and apparatus for sharing and arbitration of host stack information with user space communication stacks
Methods and apparatus for efficient data transfer within a user space network stack. Direct transfer reduces the per-byte and per-packet costs relative to socket based communication.
