Method and apparatus for flushing HARQ buffer in wireless communication system
11664933 · 2023-05-30 · ·

A method and apparatus for flushing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives information on multiple resource pools from a network, selects a first resource pool among the multiple resource pools, and stores a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) in the HARQ buffer for transmission via the first resource pool. When the UE reselects a second resource pool among the multiple resource pools, the UE flushes the HARQ buffer.

A method and device for configuring a data flow are disclosed in embodiments of this disclosure. The method includes: transmitting indication information to an SDAP entity receiving end if a DRB corresponding to a QoS data flow is changed from a source DRB to a target DRB. The indication information is used to indicate that transmission of a first QoS data flow is completed on the source DRB or transmission of data of a second QoS data flow starts on the target DRB. Data of the QoS data flow includes data of the first QoS data flow and data of the second QoS data flow.

CLOUD GATEWAY FOR LEGACY COMPUTING DEVICES
20230076778 · 2023-03-09 ·

The document describes systems and methods for handling local (legacy) devices. A local cloud gateway comprises a plurality of interface connectors of different types to physically connect a plurality of these legacy devices to the cloud, comprising a plurality of distant servers. Developments describe the step of extracting the functional messages out of messages stemming from local legacy devices (e.g. protocol translators), secure communications, logical representations of legacy devices in the cloud (“twins”), administration options, various user interfaces (e.g. buzzer) for seamless configuration and use, the use of one or more actuators (retroactions on the physical world), etc. Software and/or hardware embodiments are described.

COMMUNICATION DEVICES AND METHODS

To enable fast beam tracking and/or low latency a first communication device comprising a sensing circuitry configured to sense motion of the first communication device and to generate motion information representing the sensed motion, the motion information comprising rotation information indicating rotation and/or orientation of the first communication device, and a communication circuitry configured to transmit the motion information to a second communication device within a layer of a hierarchical layer model lower than a transport layer. A second communication device comprises a communication circuitry configured to receive motion information from a first communication device within a layer of a hierarchical layer model lower than a transport layer.

Data transmission method and communications apparatus for communication of data from different service types or different destination addresses

This application provides a data transmission method and communications apparatus, to improve transmission efficiency. The method may include obtaining, by a MAC entity of a first communications device from an upper layer, first data on each of at least one first logical channel and second data on each of at least one second logical channel, where a service type or a destination address of the first data is different from a service type or a destination address of the second data. The method may also include generating, by the first communications device, a MAC PDU, where the MAC PDU includes the first data on each first logical channel and the second data on each second logical channel; and sending, by the first communications device, the MAC PDU through a direct link.

METHODS AND NODES FOR FACILITATING A PDU SESSION PROCEDURE IN INTERWORKING NETWORKS

A method at an Access and mobility Management Function (AMF) for facilitating a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session procedure for a User Equipment (UE) in a 5th Generation System (5GS) network, wherein the 5GS network is interworking with an Evolved Packet System (EPS) network, and a Packet Data Network Gateway Control plane Function+Session Management Function (PGW-C+SMF) supporting the interworking is selected for managing the PDU session. The method comprises determining whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network, based on at least one of a capability of the UE and a subscription data of the UE; and sending an indication which indicates whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network to the PGW-C+SMF.
