Automated bulk provisioning of primary rate interface and SIP trunk telephone numbers
A broadband provisioning system configured for bulk provisioning of communications services is provided. The system includes an order manager that includes machine executable instructions stored on machine readable media, the instructions for: receiving a request to provision a plurality of telephone numbers with communications services; creating details for the request and setting an initial state for the request; and upon commencement of processing of the request, updating the state of the request to indicate ongoing processing, provisioning each telephone number in the request by associating resources therewith, and updating a status for each telephone number provisioned; and upon completion of processing, changing the state of the request to indicate completion.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING IMPROVED QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE FOR MEDIA CONTENT CONSUMPTION
Embodiments described herein are related to providing an improved quality of experience (QoE) for users consuming video content. An improved QoE may be provided to a user by allocating an appropriate bandwidth at which content is provided to the user. The appropriate bandwidth may be determined by an application function of the communications network used to provide the content to the user. The application function analyzes messages received from the content provider to determine characteristics of the content, determines the appropriate bandwidth accordingly, and generates a policy control rule to be enforced by the communications network when transmitting the content. Alternatively, a mobile device used to engage in the content determines the appropriate bandwidth at which video is to be transmitted thereto. The determined bandwidth is provided to the application function, which generates a policy control rule to be enforced by the communications network based on the determined bandwidth.
USER IDENTITY DETERMINING METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE
A user identity determining method includes: acquiring target multidimensional feature information of a target user, wherein the target multidimensional feature information includes at least two types of feature information in at least one of biometric feature information or non-biometric feature information; comparing the target multidimensional feature information with multidimensional feature information of a plurality of designated users, respectively, to obtain a comparison result; and determining an identity of the target user based on the comparison result.
Systems and methods for dynamically selecting a communication identifier
The present disclosure can select a communication identifier for a device of a content provider. A system receives a request for content for display. The system identifies a content item responsive to the request. The system determines a feature of the computing device and a feature of the content item. The system selects a type of phone number for a content provider of the content item based on both the feature of the computing device and the feature of the content item. The system identifies a phone number for the content item corresponding to the type of phone number. The system transmits the phone number for the content item for display via a computing device. The system identifies, responsive to an indication to establish a communication corresponding to the phone number for the content item, a phone number for the device of the content provider.
Routing Incoming Calls Made To One Or More Unreachable Numbers Into A Data Client
A method and a call routing system (CRS) are provided for routing an incoming call made to one of multiple numbers of a user to a call receiving client application (CRCA) deployed on one or more user devices when the called number is not reachable. The CRS, in communication with the CRCA deployed on one or more user devices, sets up a user account using one or more of the user's multiple numbers. The CRS detects availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over a data network to accept an incoming call. The CRS receives the incoming call made to one of the numbers, when the called number is not reachable. The CRS routes the incoming call to the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network on detecting the availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network.

Method for requesting transportation services
A method for safely and efficiently requesting transportation services through the use of mobile communications devices capable of geographic location is described. Individual and package transportation may be provided. New customers may be efficiently serviced, and the requester and transportation provider locations may be viewed in real time on the mobile devices.
Electronic device for controlling an external device using a number and method thereof
An electronic device and method for controlling an external device using a number are provided. The electronic device includes a processor configured to transmit an input number to a server over a mobile network, in response to a connection being input, receive an identifier of the external device, which is issued by the server, send a connection request to the external device over the mobile network using the received identifier of the external device, and control the external device by sending a control command to the external device, in response to receiving an indication regarding completion of access authentication from the external device, and a communication interface configured to perform communication with the external device and the server.
NETWORK SYSTEM WITH REQUEST REDIRECT CAPABILITY FOR MSISDN HEADER ENRICHMENT
A cellular device is used to make a first HTTP request to a host. The host returns a token to the cellular device. The cellular device sends a second HTTP request to a cellular data network in response to receiving the token. The cellular data network header-enriches the second HTTP request with the MSISDN of the cellular device and forwards the second request to the host.
Mobile device network address server update
A telematics control unit (TCU) receives a short message service (SMS) message from a phone number of a mobile device and identifies an updated network address of the mobile device from the message. The TCU sends the updated network address of the mobile device to a packet data network (PDN) server configured to route data traffic between the network address of the mobile device and the vehicle. The PDN server communicates over a data network with a telematics control unit (TCU) of a vehicle and maintains a list of identification numbers of mobile devices and corresponding network addresses of the mobile devices for the TCU. The PDN server receives an updated network address associated with an identification number of a mobile device from the TCU; and updates the list with the updated network address of the mobile device.
