COMMUNICATION DEVICE HAVING BASE STATION FUNCTION OF DECT CELLULAR SYSTEM, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed are a communication device having a base station function of a Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) cellular system, and a communication system. The communication device includes an IP phone and a DECT adapter. The IP phone is connected to the DECT adapter, to form a base station; and the DECT adapter is configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one cordless handset via DECT, so as to register information of the at least one cordless handset with the IP phone. The present application enables the IP phone to be externally connected to the DECT adapter to support a DECT mode, so that the IP phone possesses a base station function of a DECT cellular system. It is not required to deploy multiple different systems. Such an IP phone and other base stations can form a Multi-Cell DECT system, expanding the coverage of a DECT signal.
Communication control device, communication system and communication method
A communication control device includes: a device connection unit that is configured to establish connection to a plurality of communication devices; a controller that is configured to control communication between the plurality of communication devices, which is connected to the communication control device by the device connection unit, and a counterpart device via a line; and a memory that is configured to store protection-target information including at least information for communication with the plurality of communication devices connected by the device connection unit. The controller is configured to: register at least one communication device from among communication devices connectable by the device connection unit; determine whether or not the at least one registered communication device is connected by the device connection unit; and when the at least one registered communication device is determined to be connected, permit an output of predefined protection-target information for the connected communication device.
DIGITAL ENHANCED CORDLESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND METHOD
A DECT system and a method for communicating between a DECT fixed point and multiple DECT portable points. The method may include step (a) of communicating between a master communication processor of the DECT fixed point and one or more DECT portable points during master communication slots. The method may also include step (b) of communicating between a slave communication processor of the DECT fixed point and at least one of the DECT portable points during slave communication slots. step (a) and step (b) are executed according to an allocation of master communication slots and slave communication slots, wherein the allocation facilitates concurrent slave communication processor communications and master communication processor communications.
ROBUST ULE VOICE BROADCAST
A method for receiving audio broadcasts during a digital enhanced cordless telecommunication (DECT) frame, the method may include (a) opening, during a DECT frame and by a portable point (PP) that is a potential recipient of the audio broadcasts from a fixed part (FP), multiple reception windows that are spaced apart from each other and are allocated to receive signals related to audio broadcast; (b) receiving received signals, by the PP and during the multiple spaced apart reception windows; and (c) processing, by the PP, the received signals.
Method for controlling cordless telephone device, handset of cordless telephone device, and cordless telephone device
Disclosed is a method for controlling a cordless telephone device for use in a system that allows remote control of a home electric appliance. The method includes a first generation step of causing a first generation unit in a handset to encode audio input via a sound receiving unit in the handset to generate a first stream, and a first transmission step of transmitting the first stream to a base unit. The first generation step includes causing the first generation unit to generate instruction bit information and a first instruction stream when a first trigger indicating a request to start the remote control is given to the first generation unit. The first transmission step includes transmitting the instruction bit information and the first instruction stream to the base unit through a multiplexing scheme that is common to transmission of a first stream generated when the first trigger is not given.
Method for call processing and electronic device
Provided are a method for call processing and an electronic device. The method includes the following. Voice data collected by at least two target wireless headphones of the multiple target wireless headphones are received respectively. The multiple target wireless headphones are coupled with an electronic device, and the electronic device is in a call mode. The voice data collected by the at least two target wireless headphones is sent to the other party of a call. Audio data is received from the other party and the audio data is sent to the multiple target wireless headphones respectively.
BASE UNIT AND REPEATER
A base unit that performs DECT communication with a cordless telephone under the control of the base unit and a repeater under the control of the base unit, the base unit including a controller that generates first slot information to which the cordless telephone refers when the cordless telephone accesses the base unit and second slot information to which the repeater refers when the repeater accesses the base unit and a radio section that transmits the first slot information to the cordless telephone and the second slot information to the repeater, wherein the controller generates the first slot information representing that access to a first slot group out of a plurality of slots in a predetermined period is restricted and generates the second slot information representing that access to a remaining second slot group out of the plurality of slots excluding the first slot group is restricted.
Method and apparatus for sharing broadband communication services
Mobile communication services that include voice calls, text messages, and internet are transitioning from circuit switched to packet switched networks such as internet. Although internet usage by mobile devices is on the rise, voice calls and text messages continue to be routinely and widely used. Most users at home or office may typically have phones that may be primarily based on wired connections. Although the eventual connection to the network may be wired, cordless phones may be used within the premises to connect with the base of the cordless phone which may connect to the wired network. A method and apparatus are disclosed that enable multi-user service with single broadband internet service in a base device and distribute the voice and text message service to the other users in the local premises. This may enable reduced cost and power consumption along with improved performance and user experience.
Dynamically configurable audience response system
A dynamically configurable audience response system includes multiple handsets communicatively coupled to a wireless aggregation point. Each handset includes at least one dynamically configurable operating parameter, such as a handset ID that identifies that handset, one or more parameters defining a communication channel that the handset can use to communicate with the wireless aggregation point, and/or one or more parameters defining various keys that the handset can use to establish a communication link with the wireless aggregation point. In some embodiments, the operating parameters associated with the handsets may be defined dynamically via the wireless aggregation point and without any user interaction with the handset. Additionally, or alternatively, in some embodiments, in order to define, or redefine, the operating parameters associated with the handsets, the dynamically configurable audience response system may include a handset configuration station, via which the operating parameters of the handsets may be defined.
