A computer-implemented method of for optimizing cellular network performance including identifying a plurality of voice call records stored on an application server in a first type of cellular network. The method includes analyzing call data associated with the plurality of voice call records, and identifying a set of fall back voice call records. The call data for each voice call record of the set of fall back voice call records includes a fall back indicator indicating that each voice call was initiated using a second type of cellular network. The method includes analyzing cause codes in the call data associated with the set of fall back voice call records and determining, based on the cause codes, a value for at least one KPI associated with the second type of cellular network.
System for administering test cases from a mobile device for a telecommunications network
The disclosed technology includes at least one method that enables a user of a wireless mobile device to remotely administer test cases that check the performance of telecommunications network nodes. The method includes authenticating a user for a limited time period in which the user can remotely administer the test cases. While being temporarily authenticated, the user can configure the test cases by associating services or operations with particular nodes. The executed test cases cause the nodes to generate data that indicate performance of the nodes in response to the services or operations. The results can be displayed at the mobile device used to remotely administer the test cases.
Channel-based voice call method and apparatus
A channel-based voice call method, including: accepting a matching request of a client, acquiring a matching result of the client from a matching pool, and returning the matching result to the client; and acquiring a call matching acceptance instruction of the client, allocating a temporary channel and locking the temporary channel, and sending a successfully accepted matching message, a temporary channel number and a channel password to the client, such that the client enters the temporary channel based on the successfully accepted matching message, the temporary channel number and the channel password to make a call.

The example apparatus further includes a share assignor to assign a first share of the passive measurement data and a second share of the BAM data to particular areas within the market of interest, the first share based on a number of passive measurement occurrences in a first one of the particular areas and the second share based on a second number of BAM occurrences in the first one of the particular areas, a weight calculator to determine weights for the first area based on the first and second shares, and a BAM calibrator to remove a bias between the passive measurement data and the BAM data by calibrating the BAM data for the market of interest using the weights.

The method includes receiving one or more datasets indicating call activity corresponding to a phone number, and analyzing the one or more datasets to identify unusual call activity. The method further includes generating a fraud prediction, based at least in part on the identified unusual call activity, that the phone number will be used for fraud.

The method comprises executing at least one IP service application on the device and/or on an auxiliary device associated with the device. A Domain Name System, DNS, service is provided being executed on the device the DNS service relating to a domain associated with the subscriber. The DNS service has a memory associated therewith. In the memory information is stored relating to DNS resource records in accordance with the at least one IP service application that is being executed on the device and/or in the auxiliary device at that moment. An indication of the device's capability to execute a DNS service is deposited with the IP multimedia network. The indication comprises a network address on which the DNS service can be reached for a DNS query.

A method for reducing costs associated with fraudulent call activity is provided. The method includes receiving data associated with usage of a telecommunications number. The method further includes analyzing the data to determine that the usage of the telecommunications number is indicative of a fraudulent call activity. The method further includes assigning a call route to the telecommunications number adapted to reduce a cost associated with the fraudulent call activity.
