Selection of Preferred Mechanisms for Telephone Number Validation
20180352417 · 2018-12-06 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed for validating an association of a telephone number with a cellular communication device (e.g., validating an assignment of an MSISDN to an IMSI of the cellular communication device). For example, the validating may be performed as part of a process of registering the cellular communication device with a registration server for participation in online communication sessions. In other examples, the validation may be performed for purposes other than registration for participation in online communication sessions. Various mechanisms may be available for performing the validation. The registration server may determine the available mechanisms, and may provide to the cellular communication device an ordered list of mechanisms according to a preferred order. The cellular communication device may improve efficiency of validation by attempting the mechanisms in the preferred order.

Transparent contact transfer system

A centralized system is provided for managing customer contacts in a customer service center and transferring those contacts between agents in a transparent manner. When an agent determines that a different representative is more likely or capable of resolving an issue associated with a customer contact, the system facilitates the transfer of the contact to another agent. The transfer can be transparent to both the sending agent and receiving agent so that both agents are informed in real time, via a dynamic user interface, regarding the status of the transfer of the current contact. In some embodiments, the transfer may not be limited to only transferring actual communication with the customer to the receiving agent, but may be an integrated process that includes the transfer of records, assignments, and other data-driven associations from the sending agent to the receiving agent.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

A communication apparatus includes a user signal transmission unit that transmits a user signal required for an end user to perform communication; a manager function implementing unit that implements a function provided to a manager of the present apparatus; a license monitoring unit that monitors a license of the present apparatus, and outputs a function limitation signal when the license has expired; and a function limitation unit that limits the function implemented by the manager function implementing unit when receiving the function limitation signal. In a communication apparatus that transmits a user signal required for an end user to perform communication, a function of the apparatus is limited when a relevant license has expired, while preventing an influence of the limitation upon the end user.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM MANAGEMENT METHOD AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM MANAGEMENT DEVICE

[Problem] To conduct a process of moving a designated communication terminal belonging to a first communication system so as to belong to a second communication system without errors.

[Solution] A management device is provided, which deletes information on a communication terminal of a first configuration device and then adds information of the communication terminal to the second configuration device. The management device is provided with an interface unit and a control unit. The interface unit obtains a first configuration file which stores a configuration data on a communication terminal belonging to a first communication system, and a second configuration file which stores a configuration data on a communication terminal belonging to a second communication system. The control unit deletes a configuration data of a designated communication terminal from the obtained first configuration file, and adds a configuration data of the designated communication terminal to the obtained second configuration file.

METHOD AND CALL MANAGER NODE FOR HANDLING GROUP CALLS
20180270351 · 2018-09-20 ·

A method and a call manager node (200) for handling calls directed to a group of subscribers. When receiving (2:3) a request from a caller (202) for access to a first group of subscribers (204) having at least one common characteristic, the call manager node assigns (2:4) first caller-specific temporary group number (A1) for the caller, wherein the first group number can be used exclusively by the caller for calling the subscribers in the first group. The call manager node further sends (2:5) the first group number to the caller in response to the request. The caller is then connected (2:7, 2:9, 2:11) to a subscriber in the first group sequentially or according to a scheme each time the caller dials (2:6, 2:8, 2:10) the first group number. The group is created according to a criteria and the anonymity of the called parties is kept. Call hunting.

INDIVIDUAL TELEPHONE NUMBER ASSIGNMENT
20180262615 · 2018-09-13 ·

Systems and methods for individual telephone numbering assignment and administration in a telecommunications network are disclosed. Particularly, the invention relates to the concept of acquiring individual telephone numbers instead of acquiring a block of telephone numbers from an administration agency. According to disclosed embodiments, the system and method allow a carrier to request an individual telephone number from a numbering administrator. The numbering administrator verifies that the carrier is authorized to request an individual telephone in a particular geographic area. If the carrier is authorized, the numbering administrator obtains an individual telephone number from its database and provides it to the carrier. The carrier initiates an intra-carrier assignment with an administrative agency to get the individual telephone number assigned to it. The administrative agency processes the assignment activation request, and upon completion of the addignment process, notifies all carriers that the individual telephone number is assigned to the requesting carrier.

Method and apparatus for remote control and updating of wireless mobile devices

A method and apparatus are provided to in one aspect update data on a wireless mobile device. Available updates may include both mandatory and discretionary updates, where the mandatory updates are always installed on the wireless mobile device. In another aspect, a method and apparatus for of remotely instructing a wireless mobile device to perform a service is provided. The wireless mobile device receives a ping message that instructs it to retrieve further instruction for performing services actions on the wireless mobile device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a computer system to enhance customer experience. The computer system includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive one or more customer inputs while a customer is conversing with a user and predict a software application of interest for the customer based on the user inputs. The processor is also configured to generate a buildcard based on the predicted software application

Call center builder platform

Instructions are transmitted from a contact center builder system to a content provider system that, when executed, provide an interface for configuring a contact center for the content provider that includes a contact center telephone number, an agent pool, and an interaction site. Data associated with one or more contact center configuration parameters are received from the content provider. A contact center telephone number is assigned to the contact center based on the data. One or more agents are assigned to the agent pool of the contact center based on the data. The data includes a task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool is determined. In response to determining that the data includes the task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool, multiple interaction pages for the interaction site are generated.
