SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CALLER IDENTIFICATION OVER A PUBLIC SWITCHED TELEPHONE NETWORK
A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.
Call prompt method
A call prompt methods and terminals. One example method includes displaying a first interface on a display screen of a first terminal, showing that the first terminal is in a call with a second terminal via a CDMA communication network, while the first terminal is in the call with the second terminal, displaying a second interface on the display screen that prompts that a third terminal is initiating a call to the first terminal. Outputting a sound that includes a prompt tone and a call voice between the first terminal and the second terminal, the prompt tone that the third terminal is initiating a call to the first terminal, and when the call initiated by the third terminal is rejected by the first terminal's user, continuing output the call voice between the first terminal and the second terminal, and stopping output the prompt tone.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUSTOMIZING INMATE COMMUNICATION NOTIFICATION
The present disclosure provides details of a system and method for customizing an inmate communication notification. Such a system provides an inmate different customized notification messages to be played to different called parties. The system includes a list of different contacts, and each of the contacts can be associated with one or more contact numbers. Each contact number is associated with one or more customized notification messages. The customized notification messages include terms, phrases, and sentences that draw the called party's attention and sound familiar to the called party. The customized notification messages include customized text files, audio files, and video files. An inmate chooses one or more customized notification messages to be played to a called party.

RINGLESS VOICEMAIL ATTEMPT DETECTION
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for ringless voicemail detection are provided. In an example, a first call attempt to a phone number may be detected. In response to detecting a second call attempt to the phone number occurring within a first threshold timespan of the first call attempt being detected, first processing of the second call attempt is withheld. In response to the first call attempt being cancelled within a second threshold timespan of the first call attempt being detected, second processing of the second call attempt is performed based upon a policy.
Handling incoming communication during communication set up
Methods, a system, and computer readable media are disclosed to provide an enhanced Communication Waiting applications service. Enhancements include a method for handling an incoming communication received before an outgoing communication is acknowledged and a method to handle a second incoming communications to a user device before the first incoming communication is acknowledged by the user. Such methods remove limitations on existing techniques by allowing users to select between pending and new incoming calls. In some embodiments, calls not selected by the users are placed on hold or routed to voicemail.
