Electronic device and method for managing operation thereof while operating vehicle

An electronic device includes a communication interface configured to receive a call from another electronic device, a sensor to sense a motion speed of the electronic device, and a processor configured to provide, to a server, a status of the electronic device based on the motion speed for notifying the another electronic device of the status, determine a type of the call according to an input received from the another electronic device after providing the status, and control to provide a notification related to the call in the electronic device based on the type of the call.

Systems and methods of live streaming emergency dispatch data to first responders

Systems, devices, and methods including: capturing, by a capture device, an audio and corresponding location metadata associated with an emergency call; refining the location metadata to provide a refined location metadata; correlating, by the capture device, the refined location metadata of the emergency call with a geofenced location of the computing devices of one or more first responders (FRs); screening, by the capture device or the computing device, the emergency call data; transmitting, by the capture device, a first signal to the one or more computing devices based on the correlation, the transmitted signal including a portion of the captured audio and corresponding location metadata; receiving, by the capture device, an accept signal from the one or more computing devices of one or more FRs; transmitting, by the capture device, a second signal to the one or more computing devices based on the received accept signal.

INTERCEPTING AND CHALLENGING UNWANTED PHONE CALLS

A call challenger can receive a user input from a called party identity to opt-in to a call challenge service, and a second user input of a keyword. When the call challenger receives a call directed to a user equipment of the called party identity, the call challenger can prompt the calling party to provide an audible response. In response to a receipt of the audible response, the call challenger can convert the audible response to a text. The call challenger can compare the text with the keyword to determine if there is a sufficient match. In response to the determining the output of the comparing does not satisfy a threshold match score, the call challenger can prevent the call from connecting with the user equipment.

Fraud Detection System and Method

A method, computer program product, and computing system for performing an assessment of initial input information, concerning a communication from a caller, to define an initial fraud-threat-level; if the initial fraud-threat-level is below a defined threat threshold, providing the communication to a recipient so that a conversation may occur between the recipient and the caller; performing an assessment of subsequent input information, concerning the conversation, to define a subsequent fraud-threat-level; and effectuating a targeted response based, at least in part, upon the subsequent fraud-threat-level, wherein the targeted response is intended to refine the subsequent fraud-threat-level.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING RESILIENCY IN INTERACTION SERVICING

A system and a method for providing resiliency in a telephony communication system are provided. The method includes: receiving registration information that relates to a requested service, the registration information including a service name, a resource identifier such as a directory number, at least one pool, and status information; and mapping the received registration information to a database that associates the name of the requested service with the resource identifier and each pool and associates each pool with the status information; and transmitting at least two Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), including a primary URL and a backup URL, for providing the requested service.

Call content management for mobile devices

One example method of operation may include identifying a plurality of mobile device telephone numbers associated with a plurality of mobile devices, forwarding the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers to a content delivery device, hashing the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers, storing the hashed plurality of mobile device telephone numbers in the content delivery device, identifying a scheduled call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices, forwarding call content associated with schedule call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices prior to calling the plurality of mobile devices, and responsive to receiving confirmation that the content was successfully forwarded to the plurality of mobile devices, initiating a calling device to begin calling the plurality of mobile devices.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CALLING PARTY INFORMATION

System and methods for providing calling party information are disclosed. In one implementation, a server for providing calling party information includes one or more processors configured to receive a query for calling party information from a carrier. The query includes an identifier associated with the calling party. The processors are further configured to determine a score based on one or more previously obtained queries, generate the calling party information based on the score, and transmit the calling party information to the carrier. The carrier transmits the calling party information to a device associated with the called party as a Caller ID Name (CNAM).

ROBOCALL SCREENING TOOL IN A COMMUNICATION NETWORK
20210377389 · 2021-12-02 ·

Aspects include systems and methods for screening robocalls from connecting to a target communication device by a robocall screening system. The robocall screening system may receive communications intended for the target communication device and, prior to making the connection, initiate a screening procedure which may involve playing an automated request to the originating device to enter additional information such as an additional digit (or digits), which would normally be achieved through a touchscreen, keypad, voice recognition system, etc. of a communication device. As robocalls are typically originated by an automated dialer that is not equipped or configured to respond to such an automated request, the robocalling device will fail to enter the requested additional information. If the additional information is not entered, the robocall screening system may terminate the communication as an attempted robocall, include routing the communication to a proxy receiving device for further processing.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CONTEXT DATA ASSOCIATED WITH A COMMUNICATIONS SESSION TO THE CALLED DEVICE

Systems and methods for providing called devices with sets of context data associated with communication sessions are disclosed. In one implementation, a method for generating context data associated with a communications session may include receiving, from a calling device at a first subsystem, a request to establish a communications session. The request may include a first identifier associated with the calling device. The method may further include receiving, at a second subsystem, activities data associated with the calling device that transmitted the request to establish the communications session. The activities data may include a second identifier associated with the calling device and may be indicative of device activities of the calling device. In addition, the method includes determining, using the first identifier and the second identifier, that the received activities data is associated with the calling device that transmitted the request to establish the communications session, generating context data associated with the communications session based on the received activities data, generating visual content based on the generated context data, and establishing the communications session in response to receiving, from a user of the called device, an input command to accept the request.

System and Method for Transmitting and Receiving Multimedia Content Between the Caller and The Callee During Ring Time of a Voice Call
20220210270 · 2022-06-30 ·

Systems and methods are described for transmitting and receiving a multimedia content to and fro between a caller mobile device and a callee mobile device in which the multimedia content is from the device of the users involved during ring time of a voice call, streaming live and in real time, and not from any third party multimedia storage server. An aspect of the present disclosure also states that the callee can also reply to the caller by transmitting multimedia content to the caller during the ring time of the voice call, streaming live and in real time.
