RESPONSIVE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A spoken communication system and method of transferring spoken communication, includes a plurality of communication devices, at least some configured to be positioned within an occupied structure, each of said communication devices including a processor, a microphone an audio output device and a communication circuit and being responsive to spoken communication to communicate that spoken communication to other communication devices and to receive spoken communications received by other of said communication devices and an internet connected server. The server is selectively in digital communication with the communication devices and adapted to receive a spoken audio stream request, said server responsive to receiving an audio stream request by opening communication channels with said communication devices that are connected with said server. The server is adapted to receive spoken communication captured by one of said communication devices that is in communication with said server. The server is adapted to send the spoken communication to all other communication devices in digital communication with the server over the open communication channels with the other communication devices, wherein communication channels are open among said communication devices that are connected with said server to communicate spoken communication among communication devices that are connected with said server. The server is adapted when in a home mode to keep the communication channels open irrespective of the presence of speech over the communication channels. The server is adapted when not in the home mode to open the communication channels in response to a spoken awake word and to maintain the communication channels open only in the presence of speech over the communication channels.
System and method for distributed call processing and audio reinforcement in conferencing environments
Systems, apparatus, and methods for processing audio signals associated with conferencing devices communicatively connected in a daisy-chain configuration using local connection ports included on each device are provided. One method involving a first conferencing device comprises receiving auxiliary mixed microphone signal(s) from at least one other conferencing device via at least one local connection port, each auxiliary signal comprising a mix of microphone signals captured by the at least one other conferencing device; determining a gain adjustment value for each auxiliary mixed microphone signal based on a daisy-chain position of the at least one other conferencing device relative to the position of the first conferencing device; adjusting a gain value for each auxiliary mixed microphone signal based on the corresponding gain adjustment value; generating a loudspeaker output signal from the gain-adjusted auxiliary mixed microphone signal(s); and providing the loudspeaker signal to the loudspeaker of the first conferencing device.
Individual adjustment of audio and video properties in network conferencing
Individual adjustment of audio volume and video properties in a computer network conference environment is provided. A method may include providing, via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a viewing participant, a first video stream received from a first device of a first participant, the first video stream having an image attribute set at a first level as indicated by a first user input element of the GUI, providing, via the GUI, a second video stream received from a second device of a second participant, the second video stream having the image attribute set at a second level as indicated by a second user input element of the GUI, and outputting, by the computing device, the received first and second video streams, the first video stream output with the image attribute at an adjusted first level, and the second video stream output with the image attribute at the second level.
DISTRIBUTED SESSION FUNCTION ARCHITECTURE SYSTEM AND METHODS
A system, topology, and methods to enable certain session functions to be conducted over many session devices or over a large geographical area via geographically distributed servers. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus, an information processing system, an information processing method and a non-transitory recording medium. The information processing apparatus detects one or more users using the information processing apparatus and notifies each user of remote service connection destination information required for connecting to a remote service using notification destination information for sending notification to the user associated with each detected user.
Selecting bridge telephone number for dial-out
A conference system is provided that includes a processor configured to provision a plurality of bridge telephone numbers having a plurality of different country codes, and receive a dial-out request for one of a plurality of attendees of a conference meeting for connecting to the conference meeting. The dial-out request includes a target telephone number associated with a communication device of the one of the plurality of attendees. The processor is further configured to select one of the provisioned plurality of bridge telephone numbers based on a result of a match between at least a country code of the selected bridge telephone number and the target telephone number, and cause dial-out to the target telephone number from the selected bridge telephone number.
AUTOMATED QUEUING SYSTEM AND QUEUE MANAGEMENT
Electronic conferences often comprise a mixture of on-site and remote participants. A moderator may selectively engage remote participants for full-duplex interactions, such in response to the remote participant raising their hand to signal a question or desire to speak. Systems and methods are provided to enable a moderator to utilize natural speech to be utilized as voice commands, and with no other input, to cause a remote participant to be unmuted, enabling full-duplex for the associated remote terminal, and when the question is done, re-muted and thereby returned to half-duplex.
CONCURRENT COLLABORATION CONFRENCE PORT MANAGEMENT
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems and methods for a collaboration conferencing system to track a total number of concurrently utilized ports across any number of conferencing bridges of the network for a particular customer and one or more billing actions may occur based on this tracking. This may result in an alternate billing option for the customer's use of the system. Further, a telecommunications network administrator may provide access to the collaboration conferencing system based on a total number of concurrently utilized ports rather than on a per conference or per minute basis. With the information of the number of purchased ports by the customer, the administrator may more accurately predict an available capacity for the collaboration conferencing system needed to support all of the users of the system and the potential collaboration conferences.
RESPONSIVE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A spoken communication system includes a plurality of domestic devices and a server. Each of the devices is responsive to spoken communication to communicate that spoken communication to other devices, and to receive spoken communications received by other communication devices. The server is in digital communication with domestic devices to communicate that spoken communication among the registered devices.
