Dynamic notification tone modification
A computer-implemented method for real-time modification of notification tones to distinguish an intended recipient of a notification tone is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes monitoring an audio stream of an online conference for one or more audio notification tones. The computer-implemented method further includes detecting that a notification tone generated outside of the online conference matches the notification tone of an application or user device associated with two or more participants of the online conference. The computer-implemented method further includes responsive to detecting that the notification tone matches the notification tone of an application or user device associated with two or more participants of the online conference, generating an ameliorative action associated with the notification tone.
COMPUTERIZED SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION SYSTEM AND NETWORK FACILITATING REAL-TIME CALLS AND MEETINGS
A computerized VoIP system which provides a computerized service for facilitating face-to-face and/or telephone meetings, in real time, between persons lacking a common language or having language barriers such as accents and dialects e.g. by utilizing or generating a networked worldwide community of Simultaneous Interpreters, using e.g. POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), Smart Phone or any mobile phone. A platform may thereby be provided for professional simultaneous interpreters and business/private people, where interpreters from all over the world may translate any face-to-face meeting or telephone call between business people in any combination of languages, in real time.
USER-CENTRIC CONNECTIONS TO A LOCATION COMPRISING DIGITAL COLLABORATION TOOLS
A method, device and system for providing user-centric connections to a location comprising digital collaboration tools, as well as software for carrying out the method. The method includes a network device having a beacon system for proximity detection and a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). A confirmed BYOD proximity can be used to initiate the setup of a data channel between the network device and the BYOD, and further join the BYOD to a UC (Unified Communications systems and tools) session.
Mediated Multi Party Electronic Conference System
An AI based moderator system for an electronic conference. The moderator scores users based on ratings and diversity, and attempts to keep a high rating person talking while maintaining diversity.
Conference Service Number System
A conference service number system enables the reconfiguration of an existing telephone number as a service number usable for selectively routing calls to each of a client endpoint and a dedicated conference software instance. A conferencing system implements separate conferencing software instances for individual operators for whom unique telephone numbers, are assigned. A telephony system facilitates calls to and from telephone numbers and implements a menu system (e.g. an interactive voice response (IVR) menu) for presenting a caller with options to either route a call to a specific telephone number to the subject operator (e.g., to a client device of that operator) or to a conferencing software instance implemented specifically for that operator. The call is accordingly routed to either a device of the operator or to the conferencing software instance based on the selection by the caller.
Mediated Multi Party Electronic Conference System
An AI based moderator system for an electronic conference. The moderator scores users based on ratings and diversity, and attempts to keep a high rating person talking while maintaining diversity.
CONTEXTUAL MODEL-BASED EVENT SCHEDULING
Various techniques for performing contextual event scheduling with an event scheduling service are disclosed herein. In an example, data is processed at an event scheduling service, based on the use of a trained machine learning model that is specific to a user. This trained machine learning model is operated by the event scheduling service determine a proposed time and proposed scheduling parameters based on the contextual information, to identify a proposed event time and event scheduling parameters based on the model, the data indicating a user state, or external data. Further examples to evaluate user activity and identify schedule characteristics based on data inputs from a user's mobile computing device, wearable sensors, and external weather, traffic, or event data sources, are also disclosed.
Conferencing and meeting implementations with advanced features
Meeting and conferencing systems and methods are implemented in a variety of manners. Consistent with one embodiment of the present disclosure, an audio conference system includes communications circuitry and a caller interface, each associated with setting up or managing the audio conference. Menu options may be provided to validate or authenticate incoming telephony calls. In response to a selection of the menu options, an incoming telephony call may be prompted to select a callback number, and then the system monitors for a trigger event. A participant is contacted in response to detecting the trigger event, and the contacted participant is then placed into the audio conference.
Transmission management system, transmission system, and recording medium
A transmission management system includes a destination name data managing unit which manages a plurality of destination name data items which indicate a plurality of names of a destination in communications between transmission terminals, a destination name data reading unit which reads a destination name data item from the plurality of destination name data items managed by the destination name data managing unit, and a destination name data transmitting unit which transmits the destination name data item read by the destination name data reading unit to a transmission terminal capable of communicating with the destination.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTION AND DISPLAY OF WHITEBOARD TEXT AND/OR AN ACTIVE SPEAKER
Systems and methods are provided for identifying and displaying whiteboard text and/or an active speaker in a video-based presentation, e.g., a video conference. Video images of an environment including a whiteboard may be captured by a video camera system. The video images may be analyzed to detect at least one text-containing area in the environment. Each text-containing area may be analyzed to determine whether it is an area of a whiteboard. When a text-containing area is identified as a whiteboard area, an area of view including the text-containing whiteboard area may be selected for display, e.g., a subset of the full frame captured by the video system. A video feed from the video camera system may be controlled to display the selected area of view at a client device, to provide a useful view of the whiteboard text and/or a speaking person located near the whiteboard text.
