BILLING METHOD AND APPARATUS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method for billing in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment, includes: transmitting billing data to an upper entity; determining whether the billing data has been normally transmitted; and executing a supplementary operation based on a result of the determining.
AUTOMATIC AFTER CALL SURVEY AND CAMPAIGN-BASED CUSTOMER FEEDBACK COLLECTION PLATFORM
This disclosure provides systems, methods, services, and platforms for automatically prompting a user of a mobile device to send feedback after a triggering event. This disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to immediately solicit timely feedback from a mobile user after an interaction with the user. When a business, group, or other entity has an active survey campaign, a survey message comprising one or more response options is automatically sent to a mobile device after a triggering event occurs. Based on the user's selected response option, subsequent, follow-up survey messages can be automatically sent to the mobile device.
Online charging of ro fail-open sessions
Techniques for allowing online charging in cases where the online charging system (OCS) is unreachable or partially unreachable are discussed herein. For example, when the OCS cannot be reached and is unable to authorize the requested services, the services can be provided (e.g., a voice communication session established between two devices) without having to wait for authorization from the OCS. Upon completion of the communication session, the OCS is contacted to report the actual number of units used during the session so that the account of the subscriber can be adjusted. In some examples, the IMS tags the CDR provided to the billing system to indicate that the OCS was not able to authorize the communication session. In this way, the billing system is notified that the OCS is to be contacted so that the subscriber's balance can be adjusted.
AUTOMATIC EVENT TRIGGERED BALANCE TOP-UP, MONEY TRANSFER, AND LOCATION BASED ADVERTISING PLATFORM
This disclosure provides aspects and embodiments of methods, services, and platforms for prompting users with a zero account balance to send a callback message to a contact informing the contact that the user cannot call them and asking the contact to call the user. This disclosure further provides location determining platforms and rewards platforms for users.
Online charging mechanisms during OCS non-responsiveness
A method of and system for accommodating non-responsiveness of an online charging node in a networked system. A request is received from a subscriber. An online charging node is identified to be non-responsive. A default quota is assigned to the subscriber, defining a service usage threshold for the subscriber. Service is provided to the subscriber based on the default quota.

Automatic Aftercall Directory And Phonebook Entry Advertising
This disclosure provides methods, services, and platforms that automatically prompt mobile phone users to add contact information to their phone book after a triggering event such as calling a phone number. The methods, services, and platforms allow mobile network operators to provide a service that allows businesses to potentially have their numbers added to the phonebook of a mobile phone after a disconnected call.
COMMUNICATION METHOD, RELATED DEVICE AND SYSTEM
This specification discloses a communication method, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a first control network element, analysis information of a network data analytics network element NWDA, and generating a policy based on the analysis information; sending, by the first control network element, the policy to a second control network element, where execution of the policy is controlled by the second control network element; receiving, by the first control network element, an execution result of the policy that is sent by the second control network element, and determining, based on the execution result, whether the analysis information is invalid; and sending, by the first control network element, an invalidity notification message to the NWDA when the first control network element determines that the analysis information is invalid, where the invalidity notification message is used to instruct the NWDA to generate new analysis information.
