Modular panel interlocking and reinforcing mechanism for building enclosures
The modular panel 20 interlocking and reinforcing mechanism for building enclosures pertains to assembling boxes 21 with six of the same or similar modular panels 20 without extra components or connectors. My mechanism joins modular panels 20 by interlocking both grooves 22 attached by living hinges 24 on the panel edges, thus creating the box 21. The embodiment of my mechanism joins modular panels 20 by interlocking both grooves 22 attached by living hinges 24 on the panel edges, thus creating the box 21. The living hinges 24 allow all the grooves 22 to turn forty five degrees at the corners. Upon interlocking both grooves 22 to each other at a forty five degree angle, it completes the ninety degree dihedral angle transition from one panel 20 to another for corners. Another embodiment of my mechanism is to assemble a box 21 in expanded sizes by using the same or similar modular panels 20 without extra accessories. Modular panels are connected side by side to expand the flat surface or transitioning to a ninety degree angle at the box corners. An additional embodiment of my mechanism includes similar sized reinforcing rods 30 embedded in the interlocked grooves 26, which allows them tightly interlock together and strengthen the box 21. One type of the interlocking groove 22 mentioned above is round with a narrower outer opening than the inner width.
INTERLOCKING DISC TOY
An interlocking disc includes a hub with an inner circular area with an inner thickness and a circular step. A plurality of petals circumferentially spaced apart extend radially outward from the outer area of the hub. Each of the plurality of petals are disposed within a common plane and include a catch on each of side of each petal. The catch is engageable to a circular stop of another interlocking disc to inhibit disassembly.
Assembly unit for toy assembly block
An assembly unit includes side plate having first coupling member on first side, second coupling member on second side, and third coupling member on each of third and fourth sides, top plate including fourth coupling member and top stud, and bottom plate including fifth coupling member and bottom stud. The first coupling member is engaged with the second coupling member of neighboring side plate. The fourth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The fifth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The first coupling member includes protrusion. The second coupling member includes groove. The protrusion is fitted into the groove of the neighboring side plate. The third coupling member includes thread. Each of the fourth and fifth coupling members includes thread. The fourth and fifth coupling members are engaged with the third coupling member in a screwed manner using the threads.
BUILDING TOY
The invention relates to children's construction kits for assembling building toys from connecting elements. The technical result is an increase in functional capabilities, permitting the assembly of simple and complex spatial constructions with dynamic properties. This technical result is achieved by virtue of a building toy consisting of a set of flat shape-forming and decorative modular elements made of a flexible resilient material and having fastening elements attached to the surfaces thereof, said fastening elements forming detachable joints capable of holding together connected portions of the surfaces, wherein each of the fastening elements takes the form of the centre of axial rotation of at least the held portion of the surface of a connected modular element, and each of the shape-forming modular elements has on its opposite surfaces at least one coaxial pair of fastening elements which are rigidly interconnected and have oppositely oriented mating surfaces.
BUILDING ELEMENT FOR DIFFERENT USES
A building element of a specified shape having at least one surface including at least two diagonally opposed projected portions and at least two diagonally opposed recessed portions in relation to the diagonally opposed projected portions. The projected portions are adapted to engage and interlock by snap fit and/or by interlock friction with a substantially identical side of a corresponding building element.
TRIANGULAR BUILDING BLOCK BEING ASSEMBLED INTO ALL KINDS OF VARIOUS SHAPES
The present invention discloses a triangular building block being assembled into all kinds of various shapes. The building blocks in a same series are latched or stacked together by grooves and bumps thereof, forming many kinds of block assemblies. The building block can be also crossed over on trapezoidal blocks in a different series to form a block assembly in a shape of a house on which a triangular rooftop is installed.
System For Building A Load Bearing Structure
A system for building a load bearing structure for supporting a compressive load, the system including a plurality of wooden members including: a first member including a first body having a recess therein; a second member including a second body having protrusion extending therefrom; and a third member including a third body having a recess therein; wherein the protrusion of the second member is locatable within the recess of the first or third member to interconnect the first and second or third and second members together to form the loading bearing structure, wherein the protrusion is not rotatable within the recess, and; wherein the third member has a recess with a depth greater than the height of the protrusion of the second member such that a cavity is formed between an upper inner wall of the third member and a top portion of the protrusion of the second member when the second and third members are interconnected.
STRAIGHTLY ASSEMBLED BLOCK THAT IS EASILY COUPLED AND RESISTANT TO WEAR
The present invention relates to a straightly assembled block comprising engaging assembly means configured in male and female types, first ends of which can be coupled to each other, such that male and female piece blocks can be assembled by connecting the same to each other straightly, and the engaging assembly means are improved such that wear is prevented in spite of repeated separation/coupling, thereby maintaining continuous assembly power. To this end, the male and female piece blocks have engaging assembly means, first ends of which protrude in arc shapes, and the second ends of which are coupled to each other. Alternatively, connecting blocks have engaging assembly means formed on both ends thereof in different types. The engaging assembly means formed on the piece blocks or on the connecting blocks comprise a recessed portion and a protruding portion. Each of the recessed portion and the protruding portion has a guide means and a coupling means provided on both coupling surfaces thereof, respectively, the coupling means being guided along the guide means so as to engage, such that the same are connected on the same straight line. An incision hole for an elastic action is formed from a corner of the recessed portion toward the interior, on which a rotating shaft is formed, such that, when the protruding portion is guided and coupled, the incision hole is elastically operated so as to widen the recessed portion in the leftward/rightward outward direction, thereby preventing wear of the engaging coupling means.
Toy building element
A toy building element comprising primary coupling means that extend from a top wall and comprise a cavity that contains secondary coupling means that are configured for being able to cooperate frictionally with the primary coupling means on a neighbouring element in a number of friction areas. According to the invention there are also primary locking means that are situated at the end of notches in the primary coupling means, wherein the locking means are configured for snap-lockingly engaging with secondary locking means in the cavity of a neighbouring element in same locking areas that are situated outside said friction areas, in which the secondary locking means are elastically resilient in directions in parallel with the top wall of the building element and are substantially elastically relieved in an interconnected position. The coexistence of friction- and snap-locking means entails is that the element yields a far higher coupling force than the known elements, that cold flow is almost eliminated, and that the element is compatible with the known elements.
Rotationally Engaged Toy Brick System
A toy brick system is provided having a plurality of bricks each of which has a post extending from first end of a body of the brick and having a socket at a second end. The post in each brick in the plurality is engageable with a socket of an adjacently place brick in a removable rotational engagement enabling curved and angled configuration of assembled structures. Engagement and disengagement from the rotational engagement can only occur at a specific engagement angle between adjacent bricks thereby maintaining the rotational engagement of adjacent bricks once engaged and rotated out of the engagement angle. The bricks are configurable in a linear fashion or with curved exterior walls for forming curved structures.
