The connector clip includes a first head and a second head, both having a plurality of prongs and a plurality of slots, with the prongs and slots arranged sequentially in a prong-slot-prong sequence. The connector clip having a maximum thickness that substantially corresponds with a height to which a barrel projects from the bottom surface of the baseplate, with at least one of the first and second heads of the connector clip configured to matingly engage with a number of barrels on the bottom surface of the baseplate in a press fit connection for use in joining the baseplate to a second baseplate.
TOY CONSTRUCTION SET
A toy construction set includes first and second construction elements, a pin, and a fastener including a body and a head. Each of the first and second construction elements includes through-holes and grooves on two major surfaces, respectively, of the construction element. A thickness of each groove is substantially the same. At at least one end of each groove, an edge of the groove is curved. The pin includes a body having a cavity and a member. A first portion of an edge of the member is curved, and a second portion of the edge of the member is straight. A thickness of the member is not larger than the thickness of each groove. The member of the pin is fixed in place in one of the grooves of the first construction element when the first and second construction elements are coupled by the pin and the fastener so as to constrain the pin from rotating with respect to an axis of the body of the pin.
Modular play structure system
A modular play structure is disclosed. The play structure has a plurality of wall units that can interchangeably couple to form a modular playhouse. The wall units are coupled together by a mating structure. Some embodiments have a separate connector that couples wall units together at the edges of the wall units. Some embodiments have accessories coupled to the wall units at accessory openings. Some embodiments have decorative faades configured to removably attach to the plurality of wall units.
Wall assembly and alignment clips for assembling miniature model buildings
A wall component for receiving associated alignment clips is illustrated and described. The wall component comprises a molding strip, an array of mounting studs, and a molding frame that is inserted between a pair of wall panels. More specifically, the mounting studs are affixed to an inner surface of the molding strip and inserted through the wall panel where they are secured to the molding frame. A gap is formed between the inner surface of the molding strip and an outer surface of the wall panel for receiving associated alignment clips. The alignment clips are releasably secured to the wall component by interlocking with the mounting studs in the clip receiving gap and/or wedging the gap. The alignment clips may be affixed along an abutment edge of the wall segment or to associated model pieces. Model pieces may also be laterally slidable with respect to their associated alignment clips.
Interactive Construction Toy System
Embodiments include a construction toy kit having component parts capable of being assembled in a configuration chosen by the user. The kit may contain a connector extending from a first end to a second end, having a securement comprising a first retainer feature, a second retainer feature and a third retainer feature. The connector may further have a first grip extending from the first end toward the securement, where the first grip is sized to receive a feature of a building panel. The kit may also contain a multiple building panels of various configurations, a mat used as a base for erecting a structure and multiple sensor components. These components among others may be assembled to create structure such as a race course for robotic toys. The sensor elements may be implemented by the user to sense various actions of the robotic toy, and respond as chosen by the user.
AUTONOMOUS, GRAVITY-ASSISTED MOTORIZED RACER CONFIGURED TO TRAVEL THROUGH NON-STRAIGHT TUBE SEGMENTS
A portable, lightweight racer vehicle. The racer includes a body, a motor and a battery powering the motor, a motorized wheel, a first wheel, and a spring-loaded wheel to cause the motorized wheel to maintain contact with a surface upon which the motorized wheel rotates. The first wheel is larger than the motorized wheel and the spring-loaded wheel. A tube section includes a first half section having a pair of interlocking fingers and a pair of notches; and a second half section having a pair of interlocking fingers and a pair of notches. The two halves are removably snap-fit or press-fit together by joining the pair of interlocking fingers of the first half section with the pair of notches of the second half section while simultaneously joining the pair of interlocking fingers of the second half section with the pair of notches of the first half section. A splitter pipe includes a body having an input port and at least two output ports, and a remotely controlled valve between the input port and the at least two output ports. The splitter pipe is non-opaque, and an inner diameter of the input port does not exceed 2 inches.
