The terminal includes a memory that stores screen information for configuring a setting screen for the process. The screen information is set by the user. The processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit and a receiving unit. The acquisition unit acquires the screen information from the terminal through short-distance wireless communication. The receiving unit displays the setting screen in accordance with the acquired screen information and receives a setting change performed by the user on the setting screen.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND CONTENT INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SERVER
A non-transitory computer readable medium stores a program causing a computer to execute a process utilizing location information. The process includes a first control process and a second control process. The first control process includes, in response to receiving of a radio signal used for short-range wireless communication from a transmitter, temporarily activating a location information detector that detects location information, and causing the location information detector to detect the location information. The second control process includes transmitting the location information detected by the location information detector to a server that provides a service utilizing the location information.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS HAVING CONNECTION INFORMATION TRANSMISSION, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM.
An image processing apparatus includes a display, a first communication interface, and a second communication interface. The image processing apparatus performs operations including transmitting, via the first communication interface, connection information for communication via the second communication interface to a communication terminal, receiving, from the communication terminal via the second communication interface, a transmission destination information to be used in a transmission function of the image processing apparatus for transmitting image data, and displaying, on the display, a screen capable of designating whether or not to use the received transmission destination information as a destination of the transmission function in accordance with having received the transmission destination information via the second communication interface.
Systems and methods for identification document processing and business workflow integration
A method includes: receiving or capturing an image comprising an identity document (ID) using a mobile device; classifying the ID; analyzing the ID based at least in part on the ID classification; determining at least some identifying information from the ID; at least one of building an ID profile and updating the ID profile, based at least in part on the analysis; providing at least one of the ID and the ID classification to a loan application workflow and/or a new financial account workflow; and driving at least a portion of the workflow based at least in part on the ID and the ID classification. Corresponding systems and computer program products are also disclosed.
Efficient image transmission
A mobile telephone receives, constructs and displays an image from a server over a mobile telephone network. The server determines the parameters for data transfer from the server to the mobile telephone, the capabilities of the mobile telephone, transfer task requirements, and apportions the processing between the server and the mobile telephone for each of a plurality of elements in each image, thereby to meet the task requirement, which can include being within a predetermined time for task completion, or being the fastest means for task completion. Parameters for data transfer from server to telephone include server transmission bandwidth, phone reception bandwidth, data channel bandwidth, transmission protocol, and channel accessibility. Phone capabilities include the data processing speed, the available memory, display size, and the data processing software available; Task requirements include the maximum transmission time and the minimum display resolution of the image.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus includes a communication device that forms a wireless network as an access point, a code generator that generates a two-dimensional code, a display device, and a controller, where the controller, in a case the controller detects an instruction to transmit image data to an external apparatus, controls the communication device to form a wireless network as an access point, controls the code generator to generate a first two-dimensional code indicating information for connecting to the formed wireless network, and controls the display device to display the first two-dimensional code, and in a case the controller detects that the external apparatus connects to the wireless network using the first two-dimensional code, controls the code generator to generate a second two-dimensional code indicating information for accessing the image data to be transmitted, and controls the display device to display the second two-dimensional code.
Image management system, management device, program, and image output device
There is provided an image management system having an image output device communicable with a management apparatus and a display device, wherein the management apparatus includes: a generation unit that generates an identifier of the image output device in response to a request from a communication terminal; a first transmission unit that transmits the identifier to the communication terminal; an authentication unit that authenticates the communication terminal using the identifier transmitted from the communication terminal; a first reception unit that receives image data from the authenticated communication terminal; and a second transmission unit that transmits the received image data to the image output device, and the image output device includes: a second reception unit that receives the transmitted image data; and an output unit that outputs, to the display device, the image data received by the second reception unit.
Low-power radio frequency network for a system of cameras
A low-power radio frequency (RF) network for a system of cameras that allows for efficient transmission of images (e.g., thumbnail images) from one or more REMOTE cameras or nodes to a centralized HOME camera or node. The network includes a variety of power saving features to optimize the battery life of the REMOTE cameras while still effectively transmitting captured images through the network. The power saving features include network path optimization for message and data transmission, synchronization of the wake and sleep states for each node in the network, the transfer of images from a camera module to an RF module of a node during a sleep state, etc. The network is also configured or operable to be implemented in such a manner that nodes can be readily added or removed from the network with minimal user input and without sacrificing power savings or network message transmission efficiency.
