IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, PROJECTION APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, PROJECTION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided an image processing apparatus that outputs projection image data to a projection unit configured to display an image by projecting a projection image onto a print image at a projection plane. A first acquisition unit acquires image data. A second acquisition unit acquires parameters related to reflectances at a plurality of positions on the print image. A setting unit sets an offset value for performing offset adjustment of at least one color of the image at the projection plane. A correction unit configured to generate the projection image data by correcting a pixel value of a pixel in the image data based on the offset value and the parameter at a position in the print image that corresponds to the pixel.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND CUSTOMIZING MASS MARKET ITEMS WITH A VIEW TO ACCESS TO CUSTOMIZED CONTENT
The invention relates to a method for producing a plurality of items (A) customized with visually coherent features, which includes the following steps: generating a plurality of unique decorative images each encoding a plurality of unique codes (Cx), each unique code 5 (Cx) being reconstructible through analysis of an image output from a digital camera of a communicating device that has captured a unique image (ICx), and each unique code (Cx) representing a unique address accessible, via a network, from said communicating device, and printing the unique decorative images on a plurality of respective items 10 (A) or on a plurality of substrates (Sx) intended to be attached to said plurality of individual or grouped items using a digital printing system. Items are thus mass-produced, making it possible for every item, without using an optical bar code or QR code, to access 15 content or a unique digital space, with customization possible.
Image forming apparatus with projector to display an image to be printed and related method
An image forming apparatus according to an embodiment includes a projector that projects an image onto a predetermined projection area outside of the image forming apparatus, an interface, a printer, and a processor. The printer prints an image on an image recording medium based on image data acquired the image acquired through the interface. The processor controls the projector to display the image to be printed on the projection area.
DOCUMENT CAMERA, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DOCUMENT CAMERA, AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A document camera which operates with electric power supplied via a USB cable includes: an image pickup unit which picks up an image of a subject via a lens; a light source unit which emits light toward the subject; a drive unit which drives the lens; a detection unit which detects an amount of current supplied via the USB cable; and a control unit which controls an operation of the light source unit and the drive unit according to the amount of current detected by the detection unit.
Image mark sensing systems and methods
Systems and methods use a digital microform imaging apparatus for sensing an image mark on the microform containing the image of a document.
COOPERATIVE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND COOPERATIVE PROCESSING METHOD
A cooperative processing system includes an operation terminal and a cooperative processing device connected to each other, and is connectable to a plurality of electronic devices. The cooperative processing system causes one of electronic devices to function as an input device to cause electronic data to be input therefrom and one of the electronic devices to function as an output device to output the electronic data. The cooperative processing system includes an obtaining unit to obtain input device information to specify the input device and output device information to specify the output device, an input control unit to cause the input device to input electronic data through a first interface according to the input device information, and an output control unit to cause the output device to output the electronic data through a second interface according to the output device information in an format appropriate for the output device.
METHODS OF MANUFACTURING SECURITY DOCUMENTS AND SECURITY DEVICES
Methods of manufacturing security documents and security devices, and corresponding products, provide a lenticular device effect in a first registration zone. Viewing its appearance from two different angles in this way, the relative positioning of the focussing element array and the image array can be judged to a high degree of accuracy. If the two arrays do not have the desired relative position, this will be clearly apparent since the different first and second images will not be captured at the first and second test viewing angles.
Image processing apparatus, control method, and computer-readable storage medium, which obtains calibration image information with which to correct image data
An image processing apparatus obtains image data by photographing a document which is put on a document plate. The apparatus includes an obtaining unit and a correction unit. The obtaining unit photographs the document plate and obtains calibration image data. The correction unit uses the calibration image data obtained by the obtaining unit, so as to correct the image data obtained by photographing the document which is put on the document plate.
OPTICAL MULTIPLEXER AND IMAGE PROJECTION APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH OPTICAL MULTIPLEXER
An optical multiplexer (10) that multiplexes a plurality of light beams having different wavelengths includes a first waveguide (101) that receives first-wavelength light, a second waveguide (102) that receives second-wavelength light having a shorter wavelength than the first-wavelength light, a third waveguide (103) that receives third-wavelength light having a shorter wavelength than the second-wavelength light, a first multiplexer (110) in which the light propagates between the first waveguide (101) and the second waveguide (102), and a second multiplexer (120) in which the light propagates between the first waveguide (101) and the third waveguide (103). The second-wavelength light is propagated to the first waveguide (101) at the first multiplexer (110). The third-wavelength light is propagated to the first waveguide (101) at the second multiplexer (120).
TEMPORARY TATTOOING APPARATUS
An apparatus may include a housing defining a first opening, a second opening, and a cavity connecting the first opening to the second opening, the cavity may receive a user's extremity through the first opening and to allow egress through the second opening. An apparatus may include a visualization module configured to superimpose visual media equivalent to a desired tattoo onto the user's extremity within the cavity. An apparatus may include a printer module disposed within the cavity to apply the desired tattoo, the printer module including one or more print heads for administering temporary tattoo ink to apply the temporary tattoo to the user's extremity. An apparatus may include a user interface terminal configured to allow a user to select the temporary tattoo from among a number of candidate temporary tattoos and to adjust one or more properties of the temporary tattoo prior to application of the temporary tattoo.
