A shooting control method and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: within a first duration of each working cycle of a capturing process, adjusting a luminance value of a first screen area of the electronic device from a target luminance value to a preset luminance value that is less than the target luminance value, and controlling an under-screen camera of the electronic device to capture an image, where each working cycle includes a first duration and a second duration; and within the second duration after each first duration in the capturing process, controlling the under-screen camera of the electronic device to stop capturing an image, and adjusting the luminance value of the first screen area from the preset luminance value to the target luminance value.

In a case where an information processing apparatus requests an image forming apparatus to authenticate wireless communication with the information processing apparatus, using set user authentication information, the image forming apparatus authenticates the wireless communication with the information processing apparatus based on the user authentication information used in the request. Then, in a case where the authentication is successful, the image forming apparatus starts the wireless communication with the information processing apparatus. Systems and methods are provided though which a transaction, e.g., in a multi-tier, distributed application may be initiated from a portable or hand-held device, such as a smartphone. A computer system or systems, possibly remote from the device, may approve the transaction, complete it, or both, and the remote computer system or systems may cause a document to be printed, e.g., by a printer physically proximate to the device. Aspects of the invention are illustrated by embodiments in which a drug prescription may be created electronically using a hand-held device. In such an embodiment, the prescription may be transmitted to one or more remote computer systems, such as an application server, for processing. If specified, the remote computer systems may cause a prescription to be printed, e.g., at a printer near the prescriber's location. The prescriber may sign the printed prescription and give it to a patient or pharmacy.

A multi-function peripheral as an image processing device according to the present invention is wirelessly connected with a mobile terminal having a display and is capable of accepting an operation by a user via the mobile terminal. For this, a terminal side setting screen for operating the multi-function peripheral is displayed on the display of the mobile terminal. The terminal side setting screen includes buttons for an operation requiring the user to be in the vicinity of the multi-function peripheral. These buttons are brought in a mode capable of accepting the operation, when an estimated distance between the multi-function peripheral and the mobile terminal is less than or equal to a threshold value, whereas are brought in a mode incapable of accepting the operation, when the estimated distance exceeds the threshold value.

When storing captured image data in an information server, a mobile information terminal transmits related information (date and time information, location information, direction angle information, information of a distance to a subject, and user identification information) at the time of imaging to the information server. In addition, when making a request for the image data stored in the information server, current terminal information and image search conditions describing image data replay conditions are transmitted to the information server. The information server searches for corresponding image data based on the current terminal information and the image search conditions and transmits the corresponding image data to the mobile information terminal. The mobile information terminal displays the received image data on the display unit as a related image. Therefore, a user can effectively recall the memories, such as a situation or impression at the time of imaging.

There is provided a method for an information processing apparatus configured to communicate with an image processing apparatus. The method includes displaying a screen of an application, wherein the screen corresponds to a screen displayed on a display unit of the image processing apparatus and is subjected to display control by the image processing apparatus, and transmitting an instruction to stop the display control to the image processing apparatus if a predetermined condition is satisfied in a state where the application is no longer operating as a user's operation target on the information processing apparatus.

Methods and systems for printing on a print device from both authorized users and guest users are disclosed. The methods include configuring the print device to execute document processing jobs from both authorized users and guest users based on a rule set. The method also includes receiving a request to initiate a document processing session on the print device, initiating the kiosk mode session for executing paid document processing jobs by outputting a kiosk mode user interface that is configured to allow the guest user to submit requests for paid document processing jobs, receiving a request for executing a document processing job via the kiosk mode user interface, causing the print device to execute the document processing job, and causing a payment processing service associated with the guest user to render payment for executing the document processing job.

An image processing system includes a server, an image processing device, and a mobile terminal. When a chatbot activation operation is received, the image processing device transmits activation data for activating a chatbot and operation history data up to the time of activation of the chatbot to the mobile terminal.
