The sheet subjected to the image formation processing is mounted on a discharge tray via a discharge section. The image forming apparatus includes an operation unit that has a touch panel and that protrudes from a front portion of the image reading section, and a power button that is a hardware button provided on a back side of the operation unit and on a front portion of the image reading section.

An information processing apparatus includes an authenticating unit, a transmitting unit, a detecting unit, and a determining unit. The authenticating unit authenticates a user who is holding a portable device. The transmitting unit transmits an action instructing signal for issuing an instruction to perform an action to a portable device that is associated with the user, via a radio communication line. The detecting unit detects a change of a status of the portable device that is being held by the user. A printing apparatus of the present invention has a printer unit, a display unit for displaying a screen, and a setting unit for setting either of a first setting for displaying the screen by standard color information and a second setting for displaying the screen by color information different to the standard color information. If the second setting is set, the color information of the screen displayed by the display unit is changed, and if a code image to be read by an external apparatus is included in the screen displayed by the display unit, the code image is made to not be displayed in a state in which color information of the code image is changed even if the second setting is set.

An image forming device includes a central processing unit (CPU). The CPU moves, in a case in which a user performs a movement operation on an operation part displayed on a display unit, the operation part in such a way as to follow the movement operation within a movable area including a start area that does not cause a predetermined function to be executed and an execution area that causes the predetermined function to be executed, executes the predetermined function in a case in which the movement operation is completed after the operation part is moved from the start area into the execution area by the movement operation, and performs control to change a reporting mode related to the movement operation in such a way that a degree of highlighting of the reporting mode related to the movement operation increases according to a position of the operation part as a degree of importance determined by an execution condition for the predetermined function becomes relatively higher during the movement operation on the operation part by the user.

An information processing apparatus includes a controller. If images related to devices that have been identified are superimposed on one another, the controller causes information about one or plural cooperative functions that use functions of the devices to be displayed.

A printing apparatus of the present invention has a printer unit, a display unit for displaying a screen, and a setting unit for setting either of a first setting for displaying the screen by standard color information and a second setting for displaying the screen by color information different to the standard color information. An image processing apparatus including a display unit includes a processor and a memory storing instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the image processing apparatus to function as a detection unit that detects occurrence of a sheet jammed inside the image processing apparatus and a display control unit that displays a screen based on detection of the occurrence of the jammed sheet. The screen includes a first region for displaying work that a user carries out to remove jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus and a second region for displaying work that the user carries out after removing the jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus.

An image reading apparatus includes a first supporting portion, a sheet conveyance portion, an image reading portion, a second supporting portion, and an illumination portion. The image reading portion is configured to read an image of the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveyance portion. The second supporting portion is disposed below the first supporting portion and configured to support the sheet whose image has been read. The illumination portion is disposed further on an outside than a sheet supporting region of the second supporting portion in a width direction perpendicular to a sheet discharge direction, configured to illuminate the second supporting portion, and provided such that a light emission direction of the illumination portion is directed to the sheet supporting region.

An image forming apparatus includes: an operation display device that includes an operation display device body, a front light emission portion and a rear light emission portion, the operation display device body including an operation display provided in one face of the operation display device body, the front light emission portion being provided on an upper side of the face of the operation display device body where the operation display is provided, the front light emission portion emitting light in accordance with a processing status, the rear light emission portion being provided on an upper side of an opposite face of the operation display device body to the operation display, the rear light emission portion emitting light in synchronization with the front light emission portion, wherein the operation display device is attached to an upper portion of a body of the image forming apparatus.
