An information processing system includes an information processing apparatus; and an electronic device. The information processing apparatus executes a process including managing configuration information required for installing an application in the electronic device, the configuration information including a list of applications to be installed, license information required for installing the application, and status information of the configuration information, managed in association with each other, the status information indicating a status before execution of the configuration information is reserved or a status in which execution of the configuration information is reserved; and storing the application. The electronic device executes a process including acquiring, from the information processing apparatus, the configuration information for which the status information is indicating the status in which execution of the configuration information is reserved; and installing, in the electronic device, the application acquired from the information processing apparatus according to the acquired configuration information.

An image processing device includes a display unit and a processor configured to determine whether or not functions of the image processing device are executable by the image processing device, and cause the display unit to display a screen including a first item corresponding to a first function that is determined to be executable and a second item corresponding to a second function that is determined to be not executable. The first item is displayed on the screen in a first display format, and the second item is displayed on the screen in a second display format that is less conspicuous than the first display format.

An information processing apparatus that has a display unit and a plurality of graphic controllers, the apparatus comprises: a detection unit that detects an event that is generated by a user operation on the display unit; a determination unit that determines, when the event is detected by the detection unit, which of the plurality of graphic controllers an application displaying a screen on the display unit uses; and a transmission unit that, based on a resolution of the display unit and information of the application for which the determination is made by the determination unit, converts coordinate information of the user operation that the event indicates to a value of a coordinate system corresponding to the graphic controller that the application uses, and transmits a result of the conversion to the application.

In an example, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium encoded with instructions that, when executed by a processor of a first electronic device, cause the processor to receive a request to execute an application that enables communication with a second electronic device. Further, the processor may cause a camera to output a view of a user interface of the second electronic device on a display panel via executing the application. Furthermore, the processor may receive a touch input to select a control associated with the user interface via the display panel and determine input data corresponding to the touch input. Further, the processor may transmit the input data to the second electronic device to perform an action on the second electronic device.

An image processing apparatus includes circuitry to verify validity of an access token of a web application that is provided by a web server communicably connected to the image processing apparatus via a network. The circuitry determines whether one of a plurality of functions of the image processing apparatus is available to the web application based on the access token verified and determined as being valid in response to a request to use one of the plurality of functions from the web application. The plurality of functions of the image processing apparatus includes at least one of a print function and a scan function.
