The support member includes a first link portion that is rotatably connected to the opening/closing unit, a second link portion that is rotatably connected to the first link portion and that is rotatably connected to the recording mechanism unit, a first locking mechanism that holds the opening/closing unit in the opening state at a first angle, and a second locking mechanism that does not hold the opening/closing unit in the opening state at a second angle which is smaller than the first angle.
PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus (10) includes an apparatus main body (20), a first processing unit (30) and a second processing unit (40). The apparatus main body (20) performs an image forming process onto a paper sheet. The first processing unit (30) and the second processing unit (40) are disposed in vertical direction (91) such that one is located on an upside of the other on a same side face's side of the apparatus main body 20. The second processing unit (40) is disposed on the upside of the first processing unit (30), and is configured in such a manner as to be capable of being slidingly moved in an approaching-leaving direction (92) in relation to the apparatus main body (20).
Multi-function apparatus
A multi-function apparatus includes a body, an image reading unit, a document cover and a locking member. The image reading unit is movable between a closed position and an opened position. The document cover is movable between a closed position and an opened position. The locking member is movable to a first position and a second position and includes a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion. In response to a movement of the document cover to the opened position, the locking member moves to the first position and locks the image reading unit to the closed position. In response to a movement of the image reading unit to the opened position, the locking member moves to the second position and locks the document cover to the closed position.
LOCK LEVER STRUCTURE, UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A lock lever structure includes a shaft; a cam attached to the shaft to fit a different-shaped portion of the shaft to prevent rotation of the cam in a circumferential direction of the shaft, the different-shaped portion having a different shape in cross section from a round portion of the shaft; a lever having an inner hollow cylindrical portion larger than an outline of the shaft and attached to the shaft to be rotatable in the circumferential direction of the shaft; a spring attached to the shaft to press the cam and the lever in an axial direction of the shaft; and a retainer attached to the shaft to retain the spring, the cam, and the lever to the shaft. The cam has at least two valley portions. The lever has a contact portion to contact the cam. The contact portion has a base shape.
Print Device
A print device includes a housing, a lid body, a display device, and a mounting portion. An opening is formed in an upper portion of the housing. The lid body opens and closes the opening of the housing by a second end portion side of the lid body pivoting around a predetermined rotation axis provided at a first end portion of the lid body. The mounting portion is provided on an upper portion of the lid body when the opening is closed. The display device can be attached to and detached from the mounting portion along a predetermined attachment/detachment direction with respect to the lid body. The attachment/detachment direction is orthogonal to an extending direction of a tangent line. The tangent line is tangential to a circumferential direction of the rotation axis at a position of the second end portion of the lid body.
IMAGE SCANNING APPARATUS
An image scanning apparatus includes a document table that forms a document mounting surface, a cover body that covers and uncovers the document table, and a hinge mechanism which has an angle retainer that retains an opening angle of the cover body and which allows the cover body to be lifted up and down. The hinge mechanism includes a case that is inserted into an insertion portion provided in the document table so that the case is displaceable in lift up/down directions of the cover body. The case includes an arm portion which extends in a direction that includes a lift up/down direction component and which is elastically deformable in a direction that intersects the lift up/down directions. The arm portion elastically contacts a contact portion provided in the insertion portion so that the cover body is retained in position in the lift up/down directions.
Adaptive scanning device
An adaptive scanning device, used to meet requirements for scanning and recognizing different scanned media and to save time and scanning costs. The adaptive scanning device in an embodiment of the present invention includes: a left side plate, a right side plate, an extension spring, an upper floating channel assembly, an image scanning tube B, a lower channel plate, a card information reading assembly, a document information reading assembly, friction wheels and a shaft sleeve. The upper floating channel assembly specifically includes: an image scanning tube A, an upper channel plate, an upper channel fixed shaft and fixed bearings.
Hinge mechanism for automatic document feeder and automatic document feeder provided therewith
A hinge mechanism of the present disclosure includes a pair of hinge units each having a hinge base, a hinge upper member, and a shaft, and the hinge mechanism holds an automatic document feeder to be openable/closable in up/down directions with respect to an image reading unit. The hinge base is supported on the image reading unit which reads a document image. The hinge upper member is supported on the automatic document feeder which feeds a document to the image reading unit. The shaft pivotably couples the hinge base and the hinge upper member together. By attaching the hinge upper member to the automatic document feeder, a groove formed in a circumferential surface of the shaft in an annular shape in a circumferential direction of the shaft and a rib provided on the automatic document feeder engage with each other, whereby axial movement of the shaft is restricted.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCORPORATING AUTOMATIC COUPLING DEVICE
An image forming apparatus includes a housing, an image forming device, an image reading device coupled with the housing via a first hinge and switchable between an overlapping state and a standing state, the image reading device configured to read an image on an original document, an automatic document feeder coupled with the image reading device via a second hinge and switchable between an overlapping state overlapping the image reading device and a standing state standing at the image reading device, the automatic document feeder configured to turn the original document and convey the original document to an image position, and an automatic coupling device to couple the automatic document feeder and the image reading device when the image reading device is opened while the automatic document feeder is overlapped on the image reading device.
Image forming apparatus including controller executing log-in process to put user in log-in state and image forming system including the same
An image forming apparatus includes an original setting part, an original reading device, an opening/closing member, a locking mechanism, a notifying mechanism, an original detecting part, a user detecting part and a controlling part. The opening/closing member is switchable between an opening posture and a closing posture. The locking mechanism holds the opening/closing member in the closing posture. The notifying mechanism notifies a user that the original is left behind on the original setting part. The controlling part operates the locking mechanism and the notifying mechanism on condition that the original detecting part detects the original and the user detecting part does not detect the user in a state where the original reading device has finished reading the original. The controlling part stops operation of the locking mechanism on condition that authentication of a specific user succeeds in a state where the locking mechanism is operated.
