MOBILE TERMINAL, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD
In a technique to implement document reading by making use of a mobile terminal and an image forming apparatus, control to cause an image of a document to be captured at accurate timing is important. The present invention is a mobile terminal capable of communicating with an image forming apparatus and the mobile terminal includes: an image capturing unit; an instruction unit configured to transmit discharge instructions to discharge a document to the image forming apparatus in which the document is set in a sheet feed unit; a state acquisition unit configured to acquire a state of the image forming apparatus by communicating with the image forming apparatus; and an image capturing instruction unit configured to detect timing at which the image forming apparatus discharges the document based on the state of the image forming apparatus acquired by the state acquisition unit and to give instructions to capture an image of the document to the image capturing unit at the timing.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A discharge unit discharges the sheet has an image. A switching unit switches between stacking the sheet discharged from the discharge unit on a stacking unit or conveying the sheet the discharge unit toward an image reading apparatus. A conveyance unit conveys the sheet conveyed via the switching unit to a reading unit. A cooling unit cools the sheet discharged from the discharge unit or cools the reading unit.
Reading apparatus and reading control method
A reading apparatus includes a transport unit, a multi-feed detection unit, a reading unit, and a controller. When a multi-feed of the document is detected by the multi-feed detection unit, the controller multi-feeds causes the transport unit to discharge, downstream of the transport path, a multi-fed document for which the multi-feed is detected and then temporarily stops the transport, stores multi-fed page information indicating a page number of the multi-fed document, restarts the transport after the temporary stop, and after the reading unit reads a remaining document whose page succeeds a page of the multi-fed document, performs a re-reading process including the transporting and the reading of the multi-fed document, respectively, and inserts, based on the multi-fed page information, second read data acquired by the reading in the re-reading process into first read data acquired by the reading completed before the re-reading process.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND MULTIFUNCTION PERIPHERAL
An information processing apparatus includes: a first unit as a main body of the information processing apparatus; a second unit openable and closable relative to the first unit; a third unit openable and closable relative to the second unit; and a controller programmed to control operations of the first unit. The second unit includes a first detector configured to detect whether the third unit is opened or closed relative to the second unit. When the second unit is in an opened position relative to the first unit, the first detector detects that the third unit is opened. The controller controls at least one of the first unit, the second unit, and the third unit based on a result of the detection by the first detector.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus, including: a light source including a plurality of light emitting points and configured to emit light beams; a photosensitive member configured to rotate in a rotation direction so that a latent image is formed thereon with the light beams; a rotary polygon mirror configured to rotate around a rotation axis and having a plurality of mirror faces each configured to deflect the light beams so that the photosensitive member is scanned with the light beams; a detector configured to detect temperature; and a correction unit configured to correct image data of an input image by using a deviation amount, in the rotation direction of the photosensitive member, of the light beams deflected by each of the plurality of mirror faces, wherein the correction unit obtains the deviation amount according to the temperature detected by the detector.
Guidance information display device
Disclosed is a guidance information display device, including: a display unit; a camera unit; an action detecting unit to detect a specific action of a user; and a control unit to instruct the display unit to display guidance information when the specific action is detected by the action detecting unit and a specific instrument to be operated is shot by the camera unit, the displayed guidance information corresponding to a combination of the detected specific action and the shot instrument to be operated.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes a selection unit, a determination unit, and a control unit to set candidates to be selected by the selection unit. If determination unit determines that there is not a set of a size and an orientation of a document of which the orientation cannot be correctly determined, the control unit sets, as selection unit selection candidates, candidates of sets of sizes and orientations of a plurality of documents. If the determination unit determines that there is a set of a size and an orientation of a document of which the orientation cannot be correctly determined, the control unit sets, as selection unit selection candidates, candidates obtained by excluding the set of the size and the orientation of the document of which the orientation cannot be correctly determined from the candidates of the sets of the sizes and the orientations of the plurality of documents.
Image reading apparatus that starts scanning based on detection of original and control method thereof
An image reading apparatus includes a scanner, a sensor, and a controller. The sensor is configured to detect an original at a predetermined position. The controller is configured to determine whether or not an immediate execution mode in which no user operation is needed to cause the scanner to start scanning is set, and in case the immediate execution mode is determined to be set, determine whether or not a scan start condition is satisfied. The scan start condition includes the sensor detecting the original at the predetermined position. The controller is configured to control the scanner to start scanning, upon a standby time of a predetermined amount being passed since the scan start condition is satisfied.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to form an image and a detection image on a sheet, wherein the detection image is used for detecting a geometric characteristics of an image to be formed on a sheet by the image forming unit; a fixing unit configured to fix the image and the detection image formed by the image forming unit on the sheet; a reading unit configured to read the detection image on the sheet; a reference member; and a controller configured to: adjust geometric characteristics of an image to be formed on a sheet based on a reading result of the detection image by the reading unit; and control the reading unit to read the reference member to execute shading correction based on a reading result thereof.
Printing Abnormality Detection System And Printing Abnormality Detection Method
A printing abnormality detection system includes a printer that prints an image on a printing medium based on image data, a reader that reads the image printed on the printing medium, a processing unit that detects an abnormal printed portion based on read image data from the reader, a storage unit that stores information of a display necessity determination criterion, and a display unit. The processing unit determines, based on the image data, the read image data, and the display necessity determination criterion, whether the abnormal printed portion is to be displayed on the display unit. When the processing unit determines that the abnormal printed portion is to be displayed, the processing unit executes a process of displaying, on the display unit, abnormal printed portion information including an image of the abnormal printed portion.
