Image forming apparatus for forming new image on recording surface of sheet with image previously formed thereon and reading apparatus for sorting sheets with images previously formed thereon
An image forming apparatus forms a second image on a sheet including a previously formed first image. The image forming apparatus includes a reading apparatus, a controller, and an image forming section. The reading apparatus reads the first image to generate first image data. The controller acquires first formation area data indicating an area in which the first image is formed based on the first image data. The image forming section forms a second image on a recording surface of the sheet based on second image data. The controller acquires second formation area data indicating an area in which the second image is to be formed based on the second image data. The controller executes a comparison process to compare the first and second formation area data. The controller determines whether or not to form the second image on the recording surface based on a comparison process result.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROGRAM
The present disclosure pertains to an image forming apparatus that may include a hardware processor that may: receive a print job; acquire position information of a user; determine an output mode of a printed matter on the basis of the acquired position information; and execute the print job and output the printed matter in the determined output mode.
METHOD OF PRODUCING OUTPUT PRODUCT AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING CODE CONVERSION PROGRAM
An output product producing method includes acquiring output information, specifying an output condition for an output section, converting the output information into a code having an error-correction amount corresponding to the output condition, and causing the output section to output an output product including the code under the output condition.
Image processing method, program, and image processing apparatus
A captured image is obtained in which an adapter tray is captured which is fitted in a predetermined first area in a conveyance tray conveyed by a printing apparatus and has a second area fitted with a printing medium on which printing is performed by the printing apparatus. A shape of the second area is specified based on the captured image and information about the predetermined first area. Further, an image based on the specified shape of the second area is output.
Medium and Printed-Matter Producing Apparatus
The disclosure discloses a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a printed-matter producing program for executing steps on a controller of a printed-matter producing apparatus. In a consistency determination step, it is determined whether or not medium specification information acquired is identical to medium specification information stored in a medium specification information storage memory. In a medium specification information replacement step, the stored medium specification information is not replaced with the acquired medium specification information in the case that the acquired medium specification information is identical, and the stored medium specification information is replaced with the acquired medium specification information in the case that the acquired medium specification information is not identical. In a printed-matter production step, a feeder and a printing head is controlled on the basis of one piece of the medium specification information stored in the medium specification information storage memory to produce a printed matter.
Wireless tag communication device, image forming apparatus, and method
A wireless tag communication device includes an antenna, a first maximum value acquiring unit, a second maximum value acquiring unit, a first minimum value acquiring unit, a second minimum value acquiring unit, and a polarization direction determining unit. The wireless tag communication device acquires, for each of n wireless tags provided on a sheet, a maximum value M1(k) of a received power intensity of the wireless tag when the radio wave is transmitted from the antenna to the sheet in a first polarization direction; acquires, for each of the wireless tags, a maximum value M2(k) of a received power intensity of the wireless tag when the radio wave is transmitted from the antenna in a second polarization direction that is different from the first polarization direction; acquires a minimum value m1 of M1(k); acquires a minimum value m2 of M2(k); and determines the polarization direction along which one of m1 and m2 that is not smaller is acquired as the polarization direction of the radio wave transmitted to the sheet.
Printing apparatus and control method for printing apparatus
A printing apparatus capable of adding information to a printing target image includes an addition unit configured to add the information, a setting unit configured to set an area to which the information is added based on a user operation, a specification unit configured to specify a length of a sheet used for printing in a sheet conveyance direction, and a control unit configured to control, in a case where the length of the sheet in the sheet conveyance direction is not specified, the addition unit to add the information into a leading end side area in the sheet conveyance direction even if a trailing end side area is set by the setting unit as the area to which the information is added.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, AND PRINTING METHOD THAT DECIDE WHETHER TO STORE, PRINT AND NOT STORE, OR PRINT AND STORE IMAGE DATA
An image forming apparatus is provided with a storage unit for storing setting information including at least a size of a substitute recording medium, and a processing unit for executing a print instruction by automatically changing a size of a recording medium to be used to the size of the substitute recording medium based on the setting information stored in the storage means, when the size of the recording medium specified by the print instruction is not available.
Print control apparatus and control method for determining whether continuous printing processing is not executable
A print control apparatus includes an output unit that outputs information for displaying a screen indicating that continuous printing processing is not executable in a case where it is determined that continuous printing processing is not executable. In a case where the information for displaying the screen indicating that continuous printing processing is not executable is output, the screen indicating that continuous printing processing is not executable is displayed on a display unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND READING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus forms a second image on a sheet including a previously formed first image. The image forming apparatus includes a reading apparatus, a controller, and an image forming section. The reading apparatus reads the first image to generate first image data. The controller acquires first formation area data indicating an area in which the first image is formed based on the first image data. The image forming section forms a second image on a recording surface of the sheet based on second image data. The controller acquires second. formation area data indicating an area in which the second image is to be formed based on the second image data. The controller executes a comparison process to compare the first and second formation area data. The controller determines whether or not to form the second image on the recording surface based on a comparison process result.
