SEED DISTRIBUTOR USED FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINES
Seed metering device applied to agricultural machines including two distal and parallel vertical shell wherein houses a vertical metering disk rotating on its axis. The disk has at least one set of annular seed cells, an annular recess opposite the inner face of the rear shell, formed by a portion of the disk wall projecting towards the front end of the rear shell, followed by a disk portion perpendicular to in the direction of the axis, continued by an oblique wall towards the back portion of the shell, where it ends in a first cylindrical bushing coaxial to the shaft. Inside the recess is formed an annular ring gear, in which the cylindrical gear engages. An annular flange defines a labyrinth with recess, followed by an oblique wall through which the shaft passes. This plate determines the separation of the inner volume of the casing into two separate volumes not communicating with each other, determining an area free of dust and seeds where the cylindrical gear and the annular gear performs.
Row unit with vision system for maintaining seed orientation
Systems, implements, and methods for seed orientation during planting operations of agricultural plants of agricultural include a system for seed orientation having a vision system positioned in proximity to a seed disk. The vision system determines seed orientation data for seed on the seed disk. A seed belt receives seed from the seed disk and the seed belt adjusts an orientation of the seed from the seed disk to a desired seed orientation with a furrow during planting.
Systems, Implements, and Methods for Seed Orientation with Adjustable Singulators During Planting
Described herein are systems, implements, and methods for seed orientation during planting operations of agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a system for seed orientation includes a seed disk capable of rotation in operation and having at least one singulator to adjust an orientation of seed to a desired seed orientation for placement within a furrow during planting. A vision system in proximity to the seed disk determines seed orientation data for seed on the seed disk.
PNEUMATIC SOYBEAN SEED METER
The present disclosure relates generally to precision agriculture. More specifically, the disclosure relates to systems for metering and distributing seeds in planting fields. The disclosure refers to a pneumatic seed metering device that provides an optimized seed distribution for soybean planting. The meter releases the soybean seeds by vacuum cutting and letting the seeds fall by gravity. A seed disk is equipped with a plurality of seed holes spaced radially along a seed passage region, and the seed disk drive is performed at a peripheral region of the seed disk. The plurality of seed holes are arranged in a single row with a distance between two consecutive seed holes being in a range of 2.1 to 3.5 times the diameter of one of the seed holes, the diameter of the holes being defined in a range of 3.5 to 4.5 mm.
CONTROLLING SEED PLACEMENT BASED ON PRIOR MATERIAL PLACEMENT
An indication of previously-applied material is obtained. A planting machine is controlled to plant seeds based on the indication of the previously-applied material.
Planter with high speed seed delivery apparatus
An agricultural planting implement includes a number of row units. The row units include one or more seed meters for receiving, singulating, and dispensing seed to the ground such that preferred spacing of subsequent seed is attained. A seed meter provides seeds one at time to a seed carrier, such as a brush wheel. The brush wheel may move the seeds one at a time to a seed conveyor by directly moving seeds along a curved portion of a seed disc in the seed meter. The seed conveyor may be a flighted belt, and the velocity of the seeds when transferred from the seed carrier may match the velocity of the flighted belt. The seed conveyor conveys the seeds to a position near the bottom of a furrow, and ejects the seeds with little or no horizontal velocity relative to the bottom of the furrow.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT METER
A mounting assembly for an agricultural product meter includes an upper mount configured to support at least a portion of a weight of the agricultural product meter. The upper mount is configured to couple to a support structure. The mounting assembly also includes a pin configured to engage the agricultural product meter via movement of the pin along a longitudinal axis of the pin. In addition, the mounting assembly includes a lower mount configured to selectively receive the pin via movement of the pin along the longitudinal axis of the pin. The lower mount is configured to couple to the support structure, and the pin is configured to block movement of the agricultural product meter away from the support structure while the pin is engaged with the agricultural product meter and the lower mount.
Brush belt for seed delivery
A brush belt including a base member having first side with a traction surface and a second side that is opposite the first side, the first side having a mounting surface having a longitudinal axis, a first edge, second edge, and a plurality of projections extending from the mounting surface between the first edge and the second edge, the first edge and second edge of the mounting surface being parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a plurality of bristle clusters coupled to the base member, each bristle cluster of the plurality of bristle clusters having a plurality of bristles and being positioned between two projections.
SINGULATOR INSERT FOR 3D SINGULATION AND SEED ORIENTATION
An agricultural planting implement uses an air seed meter to meter and singulate seeds before directing them towards the field for planting. The air seed meter includes a seed disc that interacts with the seed to aid in planting the seeds at the desired manner so as to provide best spacing between subsequent seeds. To aid the metering and singulation of the seeds, the seed disc includes ramps positioned generally adjacent seed cell apertures. The ramps interact with tufts of a brush singulator to aid in orienting the seed relative to the seed cell aperture to position the seed at the cell and to mitigate multiple seeds from collecting at one or more of the seed cell apertures.
Air seed meter with adjustable singulator
A seed metering system, for use on a row crop planter, selects individual seeds from a seed reservoir and dispenses the seeds singularly at a controlled rate. A direct drive seed metering system includes a seed disc having a plurality of suction apertures with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir and to direct seed flow towards the apertures. A seed path relief system aids in the placement of the seeds such that they are released from an outer edge of the seed disc. An adjustable seed singulator is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc where inner and outer blades are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes. The seed disc is driven via engagement of an internal gear with the external gear of an independent drive motor.
