IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In an image forming apparatus that employs a laser scanning optical system that does not use an fθ lens, in the case where magnification correction by insertion/removal of an auxiliary pixel is performed based on the premise of digital PWM, an insertion/removal position of an auxiliary pixel is controlled in accordance with a purpose of each piece of image processing.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING IMAGE
The present invention provides a method and device for image processing. A user device performs the image processing based on the first template elements selected by a user, and sends the image processing information about the image processing to the corresponding network device, such that the network device performs the image processing based on the image processing information by invoking the second template element, thereby obtaining a second image. Thus, the image processing overhead of the user device is reduced and the traffic is saved for the user with improved user experience of image processing.
Image processing apparatus to print image data received by facsimile communication
An image processing apparatus includes a reception unit, a conversion unit, and a storage unit. The reception unit receives image data by facsimile communication. The conversion unit converts the image data received by the reception unit into image data having a print paper size of a fixed size. The storage unit stores, in a file, the image data converted by the conversion unit.
System and method for printing large files from a memory constrained mobile device
A system and method for printing large files from a memory constrained mobile device analyzes image files to determine whether decompressing them for display or printing would result in image data exceeding device capacity. If not, the image data is displayed on the device and sent to a printer. If so, metadata in the image files is altered such that image data is generated at a lower resolution before decompression for displaying and printing.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus includes: a first inverter to output binary image data having first resolution, as image data having pixel values that are inverted or image data having unprocessed pixel values, in accordance with an inversion signal; a thinning processor to convert the image data output from the first inverter from the first resolution to second resolution and perform a thinning process of thinning pixels of edge portions of the image data in units of the second resolution; and a second inverter to output the image data having the second resolution for which the thinning process is performed, as image data having pixel values that are inverted or image data having unprocessed pixel values, in accordance with the inversion signal.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE, LIGHT SOURCE CONTROL DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing device includes: a first matching circuit to determine whether an image matrix of image data of a first resolution matches a first pattern, and output a first determination result; a first converting circuit to, if the image matrix matches the first pattern, replace a target pixel of the image matrix with a first pixel pattern of a second resolution, and output first image data of the second resolution; a second converting circuit to convert the image data of the first resolution into image data of the second resolution, and output second image data of the second resolution; a detecting circuit to detect whether the target pixel is included in a fine line structure, and output a detection result; and a selecting circuit to output one of the first image data and the second image data based on the first determination result and the detection result.
Systems and methods for enhancement of facial expressions
A system for enhancing a facial expression includes a processing circuit configured to receive video of a user, generate facial data corresponding to a face of the user, analyze the facial data to identify a facial expression, enhance the facial data based on the facial expression, and output modified video including the enhanced facial data.
Information processing apparatus, image forming apparatus, image processing method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium, configured to convert image data to lower resolution and delete pixel of interest
An information processing apparatus includes a resolution converting unit that converts the resolution of input image data into a low resolution by using a “reference shift” method; a dot processing unit that deletes a dot area that occurs on an edge portion of an object in image data that is obtained by the resolution converting unit; and a format converting unit that converts image data, from which the dot is deleted by the dot processing unit, into the format of an output processing unit that prints the input image data with a low resolution.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
In one example, an image processing device includes a reduction scaler unit that reduces or maintains the image data of an input image. An enlargement scaler unit enlarges or maintains the image data and outputs the image data as the image data of an output image. The reduction scaler unit converts the resolution of the input image to an intermediate resolution in accordance with first image parameters related to an image to be supplied from the enlargement scaler unit, the intermediate resolution being a resolution for performing writing on the memory unit. The enlargement scaler unit converts the intermediate resolution of a memory-held image read from the memory unit to the resolution of the output image, in accordance with second image parameters related to an image to be supplied from the reduction scaler unit.
Image processing apparatus for expansion processing
Embodiments may include a reception processor that receives image data corresponding to an image including a plurality of image objects. A controller may determine whether image objects are in contact with a boundary of a printing area of medium, and, based on a result of the determination, may perform expansion processing on one of the plurality of image objects that is in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium to expand image objects in contact with the boundary of the printing area and does not perform expansion processing on image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium such image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area are not expanded. Expansion image data including the expanded image objects and image objects on which expansion processing is not performed may be generated and output.
