SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRESENTING VIRTUAL REALITY CONTENT TO A USER
20220038672 · 2022-02-03 ·

This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.

Enriched video for a technical computing environment

A device receives a video file with technical computing environment information, and the video file displays interaction with a technical computing environment. The device plays the video file, and receives the technical computing environment information from the video file when the video file is playing. The device provides the technical computing device information to a local technical computing environment associated with the device.

Efficient audio description systems and methods

A computer system configured to generate an audio description of a media file is provided. The system includes a display, a memory, and a processor coupled to the display and the memory. The memory stores a media file, including video data that is accessible via a time index and audio data synchronized with the video data by the time index and a transcript of the audio data, including transcription data synchronized with the video data via the time index. The processor is configured to render, via the display, images from portions of the video data; render text from portions of the transcription data in synchrony with the images; receive input identifying a point within the time index; receive input specifying audio description data to associate with the point; store, in the memory, the audio description data; and store an association between the audio description data and the point.

Event reel generator for video content

Methods and systems are provided for generating an event reel based on spectator reaction data, the event reel is temporally synchronized to a music track. A method includes receiving a video file for video content and receiving spectator reaction data related to reactions generated by spectators while viewing the video content. The method includes processing the spectator reaction data to identify video time slices from the video content that correspond to segments of interest of the video content. The method includes processing a music track to identify markers for the music track that correspond to beats of the music track and generating an event reel having a video component defined by a sequence of the video time slices that is temporally synchronized to the markers of the music track.

Multimedia visual progress indication system

A multimedia visual progress indication system that provides a cache bar that is overlaid onto the program material or displayed on a dedicated display. A cache bar indicates the length of a recording session or the length of stored program material and expands to the right when material is being recorded. Index and/or bookmark indicators are displayed next to the cache bar. A position indicator moves within the cache bar and tells the user visually where his current position is within the program material. Numeric time or counter mark of the current position is displayed in the vicinity of the cache bar. The trick play bar and its associated components are displayed for a predetermined time period.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

Excellent information processing device, information processing method, and information processing system capable of viewing a content without temporal and spatial limitation are provided. When an arithmetic device 120 receives position/attitude information and time information from an information device 141 on a reproduction side, this loads information of an image and audio around the position information of the device and around the time from a database 111 and reconfigures an image and audio to be reproduced from wanted viewing time from a viewpoint viewing from which is wanted. The reconfigured image and audio are reproduced while being loaded into a main storage unit 202 in the information devices 141 on the reproduction side through a network 150.

INTERACTIVE INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, DEVICE AND MEDIUM

Disclosed are an interactive information processing method, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method includes establishing a position correspondence between a display text generated based on a multimedia data stream and the multimedia data stream; and presenting the display text and the multimedia data stream corresponding to the display text based on the position correspondence.

Display device content selection through viewer identification and affinity prediction
11196930 · 2021-12-07 ·

Method and device are described for customizing the content selection to present on a display device based on identifying the viewer of the device. In one embodiment, the present disclosure relates to selecting from among a group of digital images, those images that are most likely to be of interest to the viewer. In general, many of the images available to the display device will be comprised of images containing subject faces. Using the relationship information to predict subject affinity, the display device computes an image affinity for each image by accumulating the individual subject affinity predictions between the viewer and each subject identified in each image. The image affinities are used to select images for presentation on the display device.

AUTOMATIC MODIFICATION OF VALUES OF CONTENT ELEMENTS IN A VIDEO

The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically modifying values of content elements in frames of a video. One example method includes obtaining an input video. A set of elements included in one or more frames of the input video is identified. Metadata is generated for each element in the set of elements. A determination is made that a value for a particular element in the set of elements is targeted for replacement. A replacement value is determined for the particular element and updated metadata is generated. A metadata entry for the particular element is updated to include the determined replacement value. Output content is generated based on the updated metadata the output content is provided for display.
