GRASS TRIMMER
A grass trimmer includes a trimmer head, a driving device, and an operating device. The trimmer head includes a spool and a head housing. The driving device includes a motor. The grass trimmer has an automatic winding mode in which the motor drives the spool or the head housing to cause the spool and the head housing to rotate relatively so as to wind the trimmer line onto the spool. The grass trimmer further includes a winding switch for controlling the automatic winding mode to be enabled, an operating assembly for controlling the winding switch to be opened, and a locking mechanism. When the operating assembly is operated, the locking mechanism is able to lock the head housing or the spool and the winding switch is triggered so as to cause the head housing and the spool to rotate relatively.

The invention relates to a cutting head (1) for a vegetation cutting machine, such as a border trimmer or a brush cutter, to accommodate a coil (2) having a plurality of temporarily bonded turns (21) of at least one cutting filament (20) and exhibiting a central void (22). The cutting head including: a body (10) defining an inner recess (11) for the coil (2) and provided with a peripheral opening (12) for the emergence of a cutting filament separated from the coil, and capable of being driven in rotation by a motor, a central mandrel (13) adapted to support the at least one coil, the mandrel comprising at least one arrangement adapted to cooperate with the coil so as to provide for rotational engagement between the mandrel (13) and the coil (2). The mandrel (13) being able to selectively rotate relative to the body (10).
TRIMMER HEAD AND SPOOL FOR A TRIMMER HEAD
The trimmer head (1) includes a housing (3) and a spool (5) that can be housed in the housing. A pair of ring members (35A, 35B) with teeth inclined at opposite inclinations can be selectively coupled to the head, to engage the trimmer head (1) in combination with trimmer apparatuses having engine that rotates selectively in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction.
Strand trimmer with a strand feed mechanism
A strand trimmer and method of use thereof. The strand trimmer includes a pair of pivotable arms each having a motor, a follower wheel, and a cutter-spindle assembly disposed thereon. The arms are biased toward one another and are guided by the follower wheels to pivot around obstacles passing between the arms. The motor rotates the cutter-spindle assembly to move cutting strands extending therefrom through a cutting path with sufficient rotational velocity to cut vegetation. The cutter-spindle assembly includes a spool and a strand-feed mechanism. The spool is oriented to rotate about a horizontal axis. The strand-feed mechanism includes a solenoid actuated plunger within a shaft of the cutter-spindle assembly. The plunger engages the spool to control rotation of the spool and thereby feeding out of incremental lengths of the strand.
Trimmer line cutting head for mounting on a drive shaft of a trimmer
A trimmer line cutting head has a trimmer line spool rotatably supported about an axis of rotation and disposed slidably between housing and housing cover along the axis of rotation. A spring element pretensions the trimmer line spool in an operating position of the trimmer line cutting head. An indexing device has a terminal stop connecting the trimmer line spool in the operating position to the housing in fixed connection for common rotation of trimmer line spool and housing. By applying an actuating force to the indexing device, the trimmer line spool is adjustable from the operating position axially into an inoperative state of the trimmer line cutting head for paying out trimmer line. The indexing device has a rotational stop formed in a slot in a wall of the trimmer line spool and limiting rotation of the trimmer line spool relative to the housing in the inoperative state.

Disclosed is a four-line nylon cutter assembly for a mower, including: an upper case having an insert groove at a central portion thereof; an elastic body in which one surface portion is in close contact with an inner surface of the central portion of the upper case; a spool having a surface on which a nylon cutter is wound and one surface which is in close contact with the other surface portion of the elastic body by pressing; an operating wheel of which one surface portion is coupled to the other surface portion of the spool; and a lower case in which a mounting groove into which the other side portion of the operating wheel is inserted is formed at the center portion and an edge portion is coupled to an edge portion of the upper case.

The cutting head assembly comprises a spool and an enclosure combined to define a spool cavity arranged to accommodate a trimmer line wound on the spool, characterized in that the trimmer line is arranged to form a single layer of winding when being retracted within the enclosure.
String Trimmer
A string trimmer includes: a housing; a line container, configured to accommodate a trimmer line, and an end of the trimmer line extending out of the line container; a motor, configured to drive the line container to rotate to perform cutting work; a start switch, configured to generate a start signal according to an operation of a user, to control the motor to start or stop; a release mechanism, capable of selectively releasing the trimmer line, to increase the length of the trimmer line that has extended out of the line container; and a calculation unit, configured to respond to a release signal to calculate the usage and/or remainder of the trimmer line. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the calculation unit configured to calculate the usage and/or remainder of the trimmer line is disposed in the string trimmer. In this way, when currently the usable amount of the trimmer line in the string trimmer is relatively small, the user can be reminded to change the trimmer line in time, thereby reducing the waste of time and labor during use because the trimmer line is used up.
Grass Trimmer and Cord Delivering Method of Grass Trimmer
The invention provides a grass trimmer and a cord delivering method for a grass trimmer, the grass trimmer comprises an extending rod, an housing, a grass trimming head, a handle, a main motor and a main switch, wherein the grass trimming head comprises a base, a cap and a spool having a first state relative static with the base, and the grass trimmer further comprises a cord delivering mechanism; the cord delivering mechanism comprises a cord delivering electronic switch independent of the main switch and a control device; and the cord delivering electronic switch operably electrically controls the control device to enable the spool to be in a second state capable of generating a rotary speed difference with the base. An operator does not need to interrupt work of the grass trimmer and can timely pay off required and the cord delivering operation is simple and convenient.
Vegetation cutting device
A vegetation cutting device comprises: a rotating cutting head and having a cutting line, the cutting line arranged to define a swath for cutting vegetation. A cutting line feeding mechanism comprises a counterweight for balancing a free end of the cutting line protruding from the cutting head, the counterweight being configured to actuate the cutting line feeding mechanism and feed more cutting line when the length of free end the cutting line is shorter than or equal to a feed length. A guide wheel is mounted on the vegetation cutting device and has an outer surface for engaging the ground. The guide wheel is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position wherein when the guide wheel is in the retracted position, the feed length is substantially equal to a distance between the outer surface of the guide wheel engaging the ground and the cutting head.
