MULTIMEDIA CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A multimedia content management system includes a mobile computing device and a backend server. The mobile computing device includes a memory programmed with a mobile application, a processor module, a wireless communication module configured to communicate over a wireless communication link, and a first multimedia device configured to capture a first video and a second video. The mobile application is configured to transmit the first video and the second video over the wireless communication link via the wireless communication module. The backend server is communicably coupled to the mobile computing device via the wireless communications link and configured to execute a persistent internet accessible request protocol for receiving, updating, and storing transmitted videos. The multimedia content management system is useful for hosting and remotely managing multimedia content.
Time-based content synchronization
In some implementations, a system is capable of dynamically associating content streams to improve a user's viewing experience while accessing primary content. To accomplish this, the CMS uses content association data assigning secondary content items to the primary content. Secondary content items can be assigned to designated frames of the primary content so that the secondary content items are presented to user at specified time points during the playback of the primary content. Secondary content items can represent content that is related to the subject matter of the primary content, or content that a user may be interested in accessing while viewing the primary content.

Decoding capability information storage in video coding
Systems, methods and apparatus for encoding or decoding a file format that stores one or more images are described. One example method includes performing a conversion between a visual media file and a bitstream of a visual media data according to a format rule, where the format rule specifies that a type of a sample entry determines whether decoding capability information network abstraction layer units are included in either the sample entry of a video track in the visual media file or in a sample of the video track and the sample entry of the video track in the visual media file.
In-manifest update event
There is included a method and apparatus comprising computer code configured to cause a processor or processors to perform publishing media presentation description data comprising main live program data, and signaling a client device about ad data and in-manifest data where the ad data instructs the client device of an initial end time at which to end a display of an ad by switching a display at the client device from the ad to the main live program data and where the in-manifest data instructs the client device to determine, during a streaming of the ad to the client device, an updated end time, prior to the end time, at which to end the streaming of the ad by switching the streaming at the client device from the ad to the main live program data.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSOCIATING PROGRAM ACTORS WITH PROGRAM GENRES
Methods and systems for calculating, storing, and allowing electronic searches for metadata associated with media titles. The metadata includes scores specific to each actor and each genre of a media title, where the scores indicate the degree to which an actor’s performance in that title corresponds to a particular genre. Electronic searches for particular actors’ performance in a specific genre thus return more accurate results that more correctly reflect how well the actors’ performances reflect that genre.
CONTENT BOUNDARY BASED RECORDINGS
Systems and methods for managing the storage of content are described. A video stream may include a content identifier and content information relating to a boundary that may be used to facilitate recording of at least a portion of the video stream.
RELAY SERVER AND DISTRIBUTION IMAGE GENERATION METHOD
A first acquisition section acquires a content image from an information processing apparatus. A second acquisition section acquires a camera image from the information processing apparatus. A synthesis processing section generates a distribution image by combining the content image with the camera image. A transmission processing section transmits the generated distribution image to an image sharing server.
INTEROPERABLE CLOUD BASED MEDIA PROCESSING USING DYNAMIC NETWORK INTERFACE
A method of processing media content in Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Network Based Media Processing (NBMP) includes obtaining a plurality of tasks for processing the media content, providing an interface between an NBMP workflow manager and a cloud manager by providing an NBMP Link application program interface (API), which links the plurality of tasks together, identifying an amount of network resources to be used for processing the media content, by using the NBMP Link API, and processing the media content in accordance with the identified amount of network resources.
