Multimedia program recording schedule manager
A multimedia program recording schedule manager for DVR systems is described. In a first embodiment, for example, a method implemented by one or more server computing devices, the method comprising: receiving input selecting a particular DVR system; receiving input selecting a particular multimedia program for the particular DVR system to record on a repeat basis; adding the particular multimedia program to a server-side instance of a repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system; and synchronizing the server-side instance of the repeat recording schedule with another instance of a repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system resulting in the addition of the particular multimedia program to the other instance of the repeat recording schedule. In one embodiment, the other instance of the repeat recording schedule for the particular DVR system is a data component of the particular DVR system.
Synchronizing program presentation
Systems and methods that may facilitate synchronizing the presentation of a program on multiple devices are disclosed. Synchronization information related to a program may be exchanged via a two-way communications channel. Amounts by which each device may delay its presentation of a program may be calculated and/or exchanged.
Global configuration interface for default self-images
Systems and methods for operating a messaging system are provided. An example method includes receiving a first authorization from a user to use a self-image of the user in a personalized video, receiving a second authorization from the user to use a further self-image of a further user in the personalized video, sending, after the first and second authorizations have been received, the personalized video including at least part of the self-image of the user, at least part of the further self-image of the further user, and at least part of a stock video to the further user, and receiving an indication of whether the further user has authorized using the further self-image in the personalized video.
Method and device for audio and video synchronization
A method for audio and video synchronization, includes: receiving audio data sent by the video player, wherein the audio data includes more than one audio sampling points; obtaining a network delay change between the audio player and the video player, wherein the network delay change refers to a time difference between the network delay monitored for the first time and the network delay monitored for the last time; determining a total amount of audio data to be adjusted according to the network delay change; and adding audio sampling points to the received audio data or deleting audio sampling points from the received audio data according to the total amount of audio data to be adjusted and a preset adjustment strategy, so that the audio player is synchronized with the video player, and playing the added or deleted audio data.
Method and infrastructure for synchronized streaming of content
Systems and methods for synchronizing the playback of network media across multiple content playback devices, termed herein as “playback devices”, “clients”, or “client devices”. In one implementation, client devices are controlled to parse and buffer media content separately. Once all clients are ready, a controller may cause the client devices to start in a synchronized fashion based on signals sent by the controller. The controller adjusts the timing of the signal so that the outputs are displayed in synchronization on each client device. In other implementations, device lag times may be measured. In still other implementations, a master device may synchronize playback of media content on slave devices. In yet other implementations, devices may buffer and join playback of media content occurring on other devices. In further implementations, the systems and methods may be expanded to include steps of processing authentication for service providers prior to arranging synchronized playback.
BROADCAST CONTENT PRODUCTION SYSTEM, BROADCAST CONTENT PRODUCTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present disclosure relates to a broadcast content production system, a broadcast content production method, and a program that are capable of avoiding occurrence of inconvenience in a broadcast content. The clock accuracy recognition unit recognizes accuracy of a clock of each of a plurality of video sources, and a time difference estimation and correction unit estimates a time difference of a stream from the video source with low accuracy of clock and corrects the time difference. Furthermore, a processing content control unit controls a processing content of production processing of the broadcast content in accordance with the accuracy of the clock of each of the video sources recognized by the clock accuracy recognition unit and with accuracy of time information, of each stream, having being corrected by the time difference estimation and correction unit. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a broadcast content production system using IP connection.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONISED AUDIO-VIDEO REPRODUCTION
Audio-video broadcasting equipment receiving an audio-video stream includes an inbound audio stream and an inbound video stream and connected to audio reproduction equipment via a one-directional audio link and via a communication link. The equipment includes a first processing unit arranged to introduce identification data in the inbound audio stream to produce an outbound audio stream; transmit said audio stream to the audio reproduction equipment via the one-directional audio link, such that said audio reproduction equipment reproduces said outbound audio stream; receive, via the communication link, an audio latency value induced by the audio reproduction equipment; synchronise an outbound video stream, produced from the inbound video stream, with the outbound audio stream by using the latency value, and reproduce the outbound video stream.
DECODER BOX FOR REPRODUCING AN ADDITIONAL AUDIO TRACK
A decoder box includes an input connected to a source producing an audio-video stream comprising an inbound video stream and an inbound audio stream comprising a main inbound audio track, and an additional inbound audio track; a video output connected to video reproduction equipment, a first audio output connected to an audio reproduction module comprising at least one speaker and one second audio output connected to earphones; a video processing chain to produce an outbound video stream and transmit it to the video reproduction equipment; a main audio processing chain to produce, from the main inbound audio track, a main outbound audio track and transmit it to the audio reproduction module; an additional audio processing chain to produce, from the additional audio track, an additional outbound audio track and transmit it to the earphones.
RECEIVING METHOD, RECEIVING DEVICE, AND TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION SYSTEM
A receiving method of receiving a first data unit in which data making up an encoded stream is stored and the first data unit stores a plurality of second data units. The receiving method includes: receiving the first data unit, first time information indicating a presentation time of the first data unit, second time information indicating, together with the first time information, a presentation time or a decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units, and identification information; calculating the presentation time or the decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units using the first time information and the second time information; and correcting the presentation time or the decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units based on the identification information.
SUBTITLE SWITCHING METHOD AND DEVICE
Disclosed are a subtitle switching method and device, the method comprising the following steps: receiving a subtitle switching instruction input by a user; acquiring to-be-switched subtitle data corresponding to the subtitle switching instruction and stored in a corresponding preset buffer area and a present time stamp of video and audio data currently being played; and outputting and displaying subtitle data of the to-be-switched subtitle data having a time stamp matching the present time stamp. When playing a video and audio file, the present invention caches subtitles in all languages, removes stored data of language subtitle data not currently being played and having a time stamp earlier than that of the video and audio data currently being played in a buffer area, and outputs and displays data of the to-be-switched subtitle data having a time stamp matching that of the video and audio data.
