The processor, by executing the one or more instructions, is configured to, receive a user input for processing a second content while displaying a first content image on the display by processing a first content, identify whether a resource is available for processing the first content and the second content in the electronic device, based on the resource for processing the first content and the second content being unavailable in the electronic device, identify a peer device which has available resource to process the second content, transmit a request for processing the second content to the peer device, receive, through streaming, result second content which results from processing the second content by the peer device, from the peer device, and display, in addition to the first content image, a second content image corresponding to the result second content, on the display.

Various arrangements for performing dynamic volume control are provided. Audio characteristics of audio content being output to a user may be identified. Adjustments made to an audio volume setting by the user while the audio content is being output to the user can be monitored. A machine learning model can be trained based on the adjustments made to the audio volume setting by the user that are mapped with the audio characteristics of the audio content. After the machine learning model is trained, the audio volume setting can be adjusted based at least in part on the trained machine learning model analyzing audio content.

Configuration of a multi-display system is facilitated by use of general television receivers (display devices). Multiple digital interface terminals to which each of multiple display devices configuring a multi-display is connected via a transmission path are provided. A video signal is output to each of the multiple digital interface terminals. Replacement of the video signals output from the signal output unit to the multiple digital interface terminals is controlled to display a correct video corresponding to each screen of the multi-display. The method includes: receiving, by a first device, a first operation of enabling a first service by a user; in response to the first operation, separately obtaining, by the first device from N electronic devices, device parameters associated with the first service, where the N electronic devices and the first device are located in a same communication network; predicting, by the first device according to the device parameters, quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device of the N electronic devices; and displaying, by the first device, a device list according to the quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device in the N electronic devices, where the device list includes a device identifier of at least one electronic device in the N electronic devices.

This application provides a device recommendation method and an electronic device, and relates to the terminal field. The method includes: receiving, by a first device, a first operation of enabling a first service by a user; in response to the first operation, separately obtaining, by the first device from N electronic devices, device parameters associated with the first service, where the N electronic devices and the first device are located in a same communication network; predicting, by the first device according to the device parameters, quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device of the N electronic devices; and displaying, by the first device, a device list according to the quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device in the N electronic devices, where the device list includes a device identifier of at least one electronic device in the N electronic devices.

A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel comprising a plurality of pixels, a driver configured to drive the display panel, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may, based on receiving content comprising video content and audio content, obtain sound location information based on multi-channel information included in the audio content, identify one area of the video content corresponding to the obtained sound location information, and control the driver to adjust brightness of pixels included in the identified one area.

A system and method provide for installation and setup of a set-top box (STB) in a Digital TV network includes a mobile device running a mobile application, an operator application, and a display configured to display video from the STB. A status of the STB is determined and encoded into an optically scannable graphic displayed by the display. The optically scannable graphic is scanned with an optical device in communication with the mobile device and the status of the STB is decoded. The status of the STB is transmitted to the operator application compared with an acceptance criteria.

A method of presenting media content is disclosed. A plurality of assets is received at a mobile device comprising a display and an orientation sensor. The plurality of assets comprises a first video asset associated with a first aspect ratio, and a second video asset associated with a second aspect ratio, different from the first aspect ratio. A desired aspect ratio is determined based on an output of the orientation sensor. In accordance with a determination that the desired aspect ratio is closer to the first aspect ratio than to the second aspect ratio, the first video asset is selected. In accordance with a determination that the desired aspect ratio is closer to the second aspect ratio than to the first aspect ratio, the second video asset is selected. The selected video is presented at the desired aspect ratio via the display.

Methods and systems are described for condition mitigation. A computing device may display content. The computing device may determine that displaying and/or outputting the content may impact a person with a condition. The computing device may take an action to reduce an impact of the content on the person.
