Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving signaling information associated with multimedia content
The present disclosure relates to a method of transmitting multimedia content in a broadcast communication system, and comprises the steps of: identifying protocol information mapped for each service corresponding to multimedia content; transmitting service-related information including the identified protocol information mapped for each service; and transmitting multimedia content corresponding to related services to a receiving side by using the identified protocol.
In-stream controls for national video distribution
Systems and methods are described for delivering regional content for a lineup over a national network. A content provider may select a particular regional broadcast for inclusion in a regional service lineup. The content provider may be able to broadcast multiple, or even all, services nationally. At regional distribution centers, a multiplexer may select only those services that are desired for the region in response to in-stream signals. In some instances, a single region-specific version of a given service may be selected from multiple versions broadcasted nationally. The regional lineup, including the selected services, can then be multiplexed and transmitted to customers throughout the region.
Terminal and method for setting data protocol for photographed image
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, in a terminal, in addition to event information in the ONVIF format, information for determining rotation and information about a cropped region cropped from an original region are additionally transmitted.
Apparatus, method, and program for exchanging information between a plurality of wireless systems
There is provided an apparatus that acquires information indicating a result of detection of a communication node managed by a second frequency usage control system and notifies the second frequency usage control system of first sharable information generated from first frequency usage information related to a first communication node managed by a first frequency usage control system. The first sharable information being held by a first database included in the first frequency usage control system.

Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signal, apparatus for receiving broadcast signal, method for transmitting broadcast signal and method for receiving broadcast signal
A method of processing a broadcast signal in a broadcast transmitter, includes encoding, by an encoder, service data for a service; block interleaving, by a block interleaver, the encoded service data; modulating, by a modulator, the block interleaved service data; and transmitting, by a transmitter, the broadcast signal including the modulated service data, wherein the broadcast signal further includes first signaling information and second signaling information, and wherein the first signaling information includes protocol information to identify whether a Real-Time Object Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) protocol or a Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Media Transport (MMT) protocol is used to deliver the second signaling information for the service, service identification information to identify the service, short name information.
Live streaming with live video production and commentary
A method comprises receiving from each of a plurality of commentator applications respective distinct streams of media content comprising commentary information, combining at least portions of selected ones of the distinct streams of media content comprising commentary information in a mixer associated with a media server to generate a composite media content stream, and providing the composite media content stream generated by the mixer to one or more servers of a content delivery network for delivery to one or more viewer devices. The commentary information of a given one of the distinct streams of media content received from a corresponding one of the commentator applications illustratively comprises at least one of audio content, video content, image content, social media posting content, chat text and closed caption text. The mixer may comprise a post-mixer coupled to the media server.

System and method for live video feed
A server, system, and method generate a live video feed. The method is performed at a server connected to a computer network. The method includes receiving an indication of a predetermined type of action during a live event. The method includes generating a first video feed associated with the predetermined type of action, the first video feed being distinct from a broadcast feed of the live event. The method includes identifying a user device that is to receive the first video feed based on predetermined rules. The method includes determining whether the user device is prepared to receive the first video feed. When the user device is prepared, the method includes transmitting the first video feed to the user device for an automatically playback on the user device to display a video of the predetermined type of action currently occurring during the live event.
Technologies for providing stream metadata to clients
Technologies are disclosed for providing stream media content and/or metadata indicating stream media content. A media control device may receive a Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) hypertext transport protocol (HTTP) request from a media content device. The DLNA HTTP request may have a header created by the media content device. The media control device may interpret the DLNA HTTP request header. A first metadata may be identified in the DLNA HTTP request header that may indicate a request for stream media content information. The media control device may send a DLNA HTTP response to the media content device. The DLNA HTTP response may have a header that may include a second metadata indicating the stream media content information. The second metadata may include information enabling construction of a HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) master playlist, a program map table, and/or a program association table associated with the stream media content.
