An image output device includes a storage and outputs image data stored the storage. The image output device includes a detector, an output controller, and an eraser. The detector detects whether or not specific image information is included in the image data. The output controller allows an output of the image data when the image data does not include the specific image information, and disallows the output of the image data when the image data includes the specific image information. The eraser erases the image data from the storage when the specific image information is included in the image data.

A memo and photo authenticating system comprises a multiuser touch input device configured for input by a plurality of users. The memo and photo authenticating system comprises at least one camera communicatively coupled to the multiuser touch input device. The memo and photo authenticating system comprises at least one processor. The memo and photo authenticating system comprises a non-transitory tangible machine readable medium. The non-transitory tangible machine readable medium comprises instructions configured to cause the at least one processor to capture a freehand memo employing the multiuser touch input device, store the freehand memo in a data storage device, capture at least one image of at least one user employing the at least one camera, store the at least one image in the data storage device, and associate the freehand memo with the at least one image of the at least one user in the data storage device.

An image forming apparatus including a wireless tag communication device to write data to, and read data from, a wireless tag attached to a sheet. An image forming device in the apparatus is configured to form an image on the sheet. A controller in the apparatus is configured to determine whether a writing of data to a wireless tag was successful based on a notification from the wireless tag communication device and generate investigation support information if the writing was not successful and control the image forming device to form an investigation support image corresponding to the investigation support information if the writing was not successful.

A label issuing apparatus includes: a storage unit that stores a plurality of pieces of product information regarding a product; a print control unit that generates print data defining that a barcode, in which at least one piece of the product information stored in the storage unit is encoded, and a digital watermark, in which at least one piece of the product information encoded as the barcode is embedded, are arranged on one product label and the barcode and the digital watermark are arranged at different positions on the one product label; and a label issuing unit that issues the product label on which the barcode and the digital watermark are displayed at different positions by printing information based on the print data on a label.

A method and system for creating a printing plate from a vector format image file having image and non-image areas. A boundary in vector coordinates is identified via a user interface that defines each image area corresponding to an image patch. The image file is raster image processed (RIPped) to create RIPped image information associated with the vector coordinates corresponding to the image patches. The RIPped image information and associated vector coordinates are processed to create RIPped image patches, register marks attached to each RIPped image patch, and the RIPped image patches with register marks and corresponding vector coordinates stored in a processing file. The system includes a computer memory, an interface for providing the image file, a user interface, and a computer processor configured to perform the method.

An information processing apparatus includes a color measurement unit configured to perform color measurement on a color chart on which a job identifier is printed by a printing apparatus, and a verification processing unit configured to perform color verification on an image printed by the printing apparatus corresponding to the job identifier, based on a color measurement value measured by the color measurement unit, and the job identifier.

In a case where the shredder receives specific information, the shredder is configured to execute a reading process of conveying a printed material input from the inlet and reading the code printed on the printed material by using the scanner. In a case where the shredder does not receive the specific information, the shredder is configured to convey a printed material input from the inlet and shred the printed material using the cutter without executing the reading process.
