Method and apparatus for managing user equipment history information in wireless communication network

A method and an apparatus are provided in a wireless communication system. The method includes generating mobility history information upon entering an evolved universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) radio access network (E-UTRAN) from another radio access technology (RAT), the mobility history information including information on a time duration for which the terminal stayed outside of the E-UTRAN; receiving, from a base station, a request for the mobility history information; and transmitting the mobility history information to the base station, in response to the request.

An antenna circuit, associated with each of the antennas, converts an analog signal received by the antenna into digital received data associated with that antenna circuit and/or converts digital transmission data associated with that antenna circuit into an analog transmission signal which is supplied to the associated antenna. A communication device in the motor vehicle generates transmission data associated with the antenna circuits in accordance with transmission information and transfers the transmission data to the associated antenna circuit and receives the digital received data from at least one of the antenna circuits to provide reception information based on the digital received data.

The present invention is directed to a system for displaying, organizing, and prioritizing the incoming information on a wireless device. Using the present invention the wireless device can display the number of voice mails, e-mails, pages, and Internet information alerts that have been received by the wireless device during a specified time period. The invention also allows the incoming information to be separated by any number of user-specified criteria such as the originating sender, or divided by work related and personal messages. The present invention allows the wireless device user to see at a glance what kind of information has been received and is being stored on the wireless device.
