MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MOBILE STATION, SWITCHING STATION, AND LOCATION REGISTRATION METHOD FOR MOBILE STATION
A decrease is realized in network load caused by a change in selection of location registration device or an increase or decrease in the number of installations, on a circuit switching network side. A mobile communication system includes a mobile station, a packet switching station, and a plurality of location registration devices that perform location management of the mobile station. With respect to the mobile station, after one location registration device is already selected from among the plurality of location registration devices, when the mobile station performs location registration, an NRI (Network Resource Identifier) included in a TMSI (Temporary Mobile Station Identifier) is transmitted to the packet switching station. The packet switching station makes a request for location registration with respect to the one location registration device, based on the NRI.
OPERATING METHOD FOR USER EQUIPMENT SUPPORTING MULTIPLE USIM
A disclosure of the present specification provides an operating method for user equipment (UE) supporting a multiple universal subscriber identity module (USIM). The operating method may comprise the steps of: transmitting, by the UE, a first radio resource control (RRC) message to a first radio access network (RAN) in a first network; and receiving, by the UE, a second RRC message from the first RAN. The first RRC message may be transmitted on the basis of determination that the UE moves from the first network to a second network. The first RRC message may include first information about one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions established via the first RAN. The first and second RRC messages may be used to change an RRC state to an RRC idle state or an RRC deactivated state.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SERVICE DELIVERY USING MULTIPLE DATA NETWORK NAMES (DNNs)
A wireless communication network serves a wireless User Equipment (UE). The wireless UE exchanges user data over a data session of a Dynamic Network Name (DNN) while exchanging other user data over other data sessions of other DNNs. An Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) receives a DNN message for the wireless UE and the DNN and responsively transfers a reattach message for the data session of the DNN to the wireless UE. The wireless UE receives the reattach message and responsively terminates the data session of the DNN and transfers a session message for the DNN to the AMF. The AMF receives the session message for the DNN and the wireless UE and responsively establishes a new data session for the DNN. The wireless UE exchanges new user data over the new data session of the DNN while exchanging additional user data over the other data sessions of the other DNNs.
Selection of a serving node in a wireless communication system
Some aspects of the disclosure provide various methods, apparatuses and computer-readable medium configured for wireless communication. A method operable at a user equipment (UE) may include transmitting a connection request message configured to request initial connection with a radio access network (RAN) node. The connection request message may include information configured to indicate a service profile of the UE. A method operable at the RAN node may include receiving the connection request message from the UE. The connection request message may include information configured to indicate the service profile of the UE. A method operable at a serving node may include receiving a connection request message from the RAN node. The connection request message may be configured to establish communication with the UE and may include a service profile corresponding to the UE.
USER EQUIPMENT MIGRATION METHOD, CORE NETWORK DEVICE, ACCESS NETWORK DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a user equipment migration method and device to implement flexible migration of UE in a core network device pool. The method includes that a source core network device receives a migration instruction carrying first identification information of a target core network device and migration information of to-be-migrated UE, sends an indication message used to instruct the to-be-migrated UE to detach, and sends a migration rule to an access network device according to the migration instruction, so that the access network device migrates the to-be-migrated UE from the source core network device to the target core network device.
Global network communication system
When a wireless device is outside of its home service area, the device typically has to use expensive roaming data or phone services. However, as herein described, a global SIM may be inbuilt into a device, plugged into a second SIM port of the device, or may be added onto a device through one of the existing ports of the device. The global SIM allows the user to register for a service plan with a local service provider when in a foreign country. A software application on the wireless device can control the selection and purchase of local service plans, as well as control the switching of SIM data to ensure that a local SIM is used when traveling. The global SIM is capable of storing multiple registered service plans and the necessary data for the wireless device to operate as a local device when outside of the home service area.
Method and Device for Processing Terminal Unloading and Processing Terminal Registration
The disclosure discloses a method and device for processing terminal unloading and processing terminal registration, and the method for processing terminal unloading includes that: a source Mobility Management Entity (MME) configures a mobility management entity identity for a terminal to be unloaded, in which the mobility management entity identity is used for indicating the terminal to register to a target MME configured with the mobility management entity identity after the terminal is unloaded from the source MME, and the mobility management entity identity is pre-configured on the source MME; and the source MME performs unloading for the terminal.
User Equipment Paging Method and MME
A user equipment paging method and a mobility management entity (MME) in order to improve user equipment paging efficiency, where the method includes determining, by the MME before paging user equipment in an idle state, a base station last accessed by the user equipment, determining, by the MME, that the base station last accessed by the user equipment is in a non-overload state, and sending, by the MME, a paging message including an identifier of the user equipment to the base station last accessed by the user equipment.
Group communication and service optimization system
A method for optimizing group communication services, the method including determining a current location and an assigned home server for one or more devices associated with each of a plurality of group members, determining whether the one or more devices of the plurality of group members has moved to a visiting location, wherein the visiting location is a location outside of locations associated with the assigned home server based on the current location and assigned home server for the one or more devices, and assigning a group control application server associated with the visiting location to the to the one or more devices to serve as the assigned home server.
Method and Apparatus for Mobility Registration
This application provides a method and an apparatus for mobility registration, where the method includes: After receiving a first NAS SMC message sent by an initial AMF, UE stores a first NAS security context; the UE receives a second NAS SMC message sent by a second AMF, where the message carries indication information used to indicate the UE to use the first NAS security context; and the UE uses the first NAS security context as a current NAS security context based on the indication information. According to the method for mobility registration provided in this application, when receiving the second NAS SMC message sent by the second AMF, the UE uses the first NAS security context as the current NAS security context, and then processes the second NAS SMC message, so that the NAS security contexts on the UE and the second AMF are consistent.
