SIM TOOLKIT SCHEDULING FOR MULTIPLE ENABLED eSIM PROFILES
This Application sets forth techniques for managing subscriber identity module (SIM) toolkit (STK) scheduling for multiple enabled electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) profiles on an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) of a wireless device, including managing multiple STK sessions at a baseband processor external to the eUICC of the wireless device. To forestall STK communication for different eSIMs from interfering with execution of processes associated with the eSIMs, a baseband processor can schedule STK sessions to avoid overlap and reduce opportunities for errors in handling eSIM processes. The baseband processor can prioritize whether to queue commands for a second STK session for a second eSIM until a first STK session for a first eSIM ends or to terminate the first STK session to handle the second STK session.
Embedded Subscriber Identity Module Non-Fungible Token System
A telecommunication includes a computing device and a mobile device. The computing device is in communication with a blockchain network, a subscription manager data preparation (SM-DP) platform, and the mobile device. The computing device is configured to perform a first set of operations. The first set of operations includes retrieving an identity token from the blockchain network. The identity token is a first non-fungible token uniquely identifying a user of the mobile device. The first set of operations further includes retrieving, from the SM-DP platform, an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile for the identity token from the blockchain network. The first set of operations further includes generating, via the blockchain network, a second non-fungible token. The second non-fungible token includes the eSIM profile. The mobile device is in communication with the blockchain network.
DYNAMIC EMBEDDED-SIM CONFIGURATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide computer-implemented methods, computer program products, and computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention can dynamically determine an optimal embedded subscriber identification module (eSIM) configuration of respective edge devices connected to a network. Embodiments of the present invention can then dynamically change a data plan associated with the eSIM of respective edge devices connected to the network such that activity can be executed with required quality by the respective edge devices based on contextual need of data processing, volume of data transfer, and speed of data transfer among the respective edge devices.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING STATE OF BUNDLE AFTER TRANSFER OF BUNDLE BETWEEN APPARATUSES
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure describes a method and device for setting the state of a bundle after the bundle has been transmitted between smart security media.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING PROFILE POLICY RULE OF EMBEDDED SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULE BY ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display device, at least one embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC), and at least one processor electrically connected to the display device and the eUICC, wherein the at least one processor is configured to receive an enable request for a first profile stored in the eUICC, in response to the enable request, identify whether at least one profile policy rule (PPR) is applied to the first profile, when the at least one PPR is applied to the first profile as a result of the identification, control to display a first screen including information related to the an application of the PPR through the display device, and upon receiving an enable approval for the first profile input through the first screen, process to enable the first profile.
SIM CARD SHARING METHOD AND DEVICE, COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to a SIM card sharing method and device, a communication device, and a storage medium. The SIM card sharing method applied to the first device may include: in response to the first device's requirement for obtaining cellular mobile communication, sending share request information to a second device through an interactive channel, where the interactive channel is established between the first device and the second device through a preset connection manner; receiving SIM card information that is returned by the second device based on the share request information; and establishing a cellular mobile communication connection with the base station according to the SIM card information.
ON-DEVICE PHYSICAL SIM TO ESIM CONVERSION
This application describes cellular service transfer mechanisms that can be used to convert cellular service credentials on a physical SIM (pSIM) card included in a wireless device to a newly downloaded electronic SIM (eSIM) on an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) of the wireless device. Transfer of the credentials for cellular service access can occur locally within the wireless device with authorization to transfer obtained from a mobile network operator (MNO) entitlement server associated with the pSIM. The new eSIM corresponding to the previously used pSIM can be downloaded to the eUICC from a provisioning server of the MNO.
PORTABLE NETWORK-CONNECTED SIGNALING AND REPORTING DEVICE
A Portable Network-Connected Signaling and Reporting Device that attaches to a portable power source. includes a potentiometer that controls the pulse width modulation/strobing of the at least one LED. The device includes but not limited to aluminum and plastic housing with a substantially cylindrical exterior profile for attachment to a power source. At least one electrical connection from the circuit and the power source is embedded in the housing and exposed for connection to an external charging source. The Portable Network-Connected Signaling and Reporting Device permits at least 1 electrical slot for external sensors. The external sensors can be attached to the body of the Portable Network-Connected Signaling and Reporting Device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF USING A PLURALITY OF REMOTE SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULE PROFILES
The present invention discloses methods and systems for providing UICC/eUICC related response information to information requests at a cellular router. The method includes receiving an information request from a wireless communication module, and determining whether a response to the information request is cached. When the response information is not cached, forwarding the information request to a massive SIM apparatus (MSA). MSA will then respond to the information request. A response based on the MSA's response will then be sent to the wireless communication module for the information request. When the response information is cached, retrieve the response information and send it to the wireless communication module.
Method and nodes for handling connectivity to a data network
A method performed by a Radio Access Management Function (RAMF) for handling connectivity to a data network is disclosed. The RAMF receives, from a UE, a request associated with connectivity to the data network for an application having a subscription ID. The RAMF selects, based on at least a part of the subscription ID, which Session Management Function the request should be forwarded to, and forwards the request to the selected Session Management Function.
