Using a smart link to access a digital resource

In a method for using a smart link to access a digital resource, a smart link access request is received from an electronic device interacting with a smart link, wherein a smart link provides access to at least one destination digital resource of a plurality of destination digital resources associated with the smart link. The at least one destination digital resource to access is determined based at least on the smart link access request. The electronic device is directed to the determined at least one destination digital resource.

UNIFIED VPN AND IDENTITY BASED AUTHENTICATION TO CLOUD-BASED SERVICES

Techniques are disclosed to provide VPN and identity based authentication to cloud-based services. In various embodiments, a request to authenticate a user to a service is received. A user identity associated with one or both of the user and the request is determined based at least in part on data comprising the request. An identity assertion is generated based at least in part on the user identity. The identity assertion is provided to a requesting node with which the request to authenticate is associated.

Transaction system

A method for managing portable data carriers in a system having at least one portable data carrier, an authentication server, and several service providers systems each including reading devices and a service provider unit. The reading devices may request an authentication information item of the data carrier and relay the authentication information item to the authentication server. The authentication server may authenticate the data carrier on the basis of the authentication information item and establish an application identity associated with the data carrier in the service provider system with the help of the security identity The established application identity associated with the data carrier may be transmitted from the authentication server to the reading device of the service provider system.

A password recovery method, system, cloud server and electronic device. The method includes: a cloud server receives a login password recovery request for a device sent by a cloud service client which carries a device serial number and an encryption challenge string; wherein, the encryption challenge string is encrypted by a password recovery verification code randomly generated by the device; the cloud server determines whether the device serial number is bound to a cloud service account of the cloud service client, and the encryption challenge string is sent to a password server when it is determined that the device serial number is bound to a cloud service account of the cloud service client; the cloud server receives the password recovery verification code decrypted from the encryption challenge string returned by the password server, and sends the password recovery verification code to the cloud service client, so that the cloud service client can display the password recovery verification code to the user. The embodiments of the present application improve the convenience and reliability of the device login password recovery.

System and methods for infectious disease prevention includes transmitting, via a server, a facility credential associated with a facility configured to identify a user operating on an application deployed by server on a mobile computing device. The server receives a user identification test code (UITC) associated with a status of an infectious disease of the user. The server then generates a two-dimensional code associated with the facility credential based on the UITC. The server determines if the two-dimensional code is valid for permitting access to the facility based on a vaccine indicator confirming that the user has been vaccinated for the infectious disease. Thereafter, the server activates the two-dimensional code on the mobile computing device for a predetermined period of time. A gatekeeper device scans the two-dimensional code from the mobile computing device and then permits the user access to the facility within the predetermined period of time based on the facility credential and the two-dimensional code.

Asset guardian

An asset guardian system may comprise a server including a processor with memory and a database. The processor may be configured to receive asset information regarding a plurality of assets and update the database with the received asset information. A mobile device may be configured to change at least one of the assets from a disabled condition to an enabled condition in response to an asset code from the server. At least one of the plurality of assets may be configured to authenticate the asset code and register the asset code with the server thereby updating the asset information on the database. At least one of the plurality of assets may further be configured to be operatively paired with a respective socket.

Authenticator device facilitating file security

Disclosed are various embodiments for facilitating the encryption of files as well as facilitating requiring a user to employ an authenticator device in order to access a file that is encrypted or otherwise secured. The authenticator device can provide an authenticator code in which a security key used to access a secured file can be embedded. An additional layer of encryption can also be applied in the authenticator code.

A mobile device including a communications interface, a memory, a display screen, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to retrieve a first key of an asymmetric key pair. A second key of the asymmetric key pair is stored on an access control device. The processing unit is configured to generate a plurality of barcodes. Each of the barcodes includes data that is encrypted using the first key and the current date and time. At least some of the barcodes are distinct from one another. At least one of the barcodes includes access information. The processing unit is configured to sequentially display the barcodes such that only a single one of the barcodes is displayed on the display screen of the mobile device at a single time. The barcodes are read and decrypted by the access control device using the second key and the current date and time.
