Cart Mode Provisioning Of Shared Computing Devices

Cart mode provisioning of shared computing devices refers to provisioning or configuring the shared computing devices so that the shared computing devices operate in an appropriate mode for a particular shared usage environment. Such a shared usage environment can be, for example, a school environment in which the appropriate mode is a mode in which the shared computing devices are locked so that a limited number of programs and network accessibility is available to the shared computing devices. A user of a setup computing device selects some preferences regarding the setup of the shared computing devices, and a configuration package is generated that includes various configuration information based on the user selections. The configuration package is then made available to the shared computing devices, which are configured or provisioned in accordance with the configuration information.

The control circuitry is configured to use the detected information to change the operational setting of the component of the assembly, wherein the component of the assembly is one or more of the optical sensor and the lighting fixture, and wherein the operational setting is one or more of an instruction to turn on or off, an aperture and/or f-stop value of the optical sensor, and a brightness of light to be generated by the lighting fixture. According to one exemplary embodiment, the assembly is a street light and the lighting fixture illuminates a field of view of the optical sensor.

Method, device, client and server for interaction

An interaction method, device, client and server are provided. The method includes that: a client scans a target two-dimensional code (for example, a Quick Response code) to acquire a URL of the target two-dimensional code; the client sends the URL to an associated third-party server; the client receives multifunction information returned from the third-party server according to the URL, wherein each piece of the multifunction interaction information includes interaction type information; the client interacts with the third-party server according to the multifunction information. The present disclosure makes it possible that: during scanning a two-dimensional code, a client can directly interact with a third-party server, the interaction applications can simply be acquired via scanning, instead of pre-scanning and manually initiating an interaction with the scanned contents, such that the operations are simple and convenient.

Secure authentication of devices

Disclosed are various embodiments for an authentication service. A unique identifier is associated with a device access token for a client to be authenticated. An authentication identifier is sent to an authenticated client. The client to be authenticated communicates the authentication identifier and unique identifier to the authentication service to complete authentication.

Forming a security network including integrated security system components and network devices
11489812 · 2022-11-01 · ·

An integrated security system is described that integrates broadband and mobile access and control with conventional security systems and premise devices to provide a tri-mode security network (broadband, cellular/GSM, POTS access) that enables users to remotely stay connected to their premises. The integrated security system, while delivering remote premise monitoring and control functionality to conventional monitored premise protection, complements existing premise protection equipment. The integrated security system integrates into the premise network and couples wirelessly with the conventional security panel, enabling broadband access to premise security systems. Automation devices (cameras, lamp modules, thermostats, etc.) can be added, enabling users to remotely see live video and/or pictures and control home devices via their personal web portal or webpage, mobile phone, and/or other remote client device. Users can also receive notifications via email or text message when happenings occur, or do not occur, in their home.

NETWORKED SECURITY SYSTEM

Disclosed are multi-tenant networked security systems and methods. The system includes a central server, a first user application provided on a first computing device, and a second user application provided on a second computer device, wherein the first and second computing devices are communicatively linked with the central server. The system further includes a persistent network key generated by the central server and based at least in part on a unique request identifier and a transient physical key generated by the first user application and based at least in part on the network key, wherein the network key is received by the first user application. The second user application is configured to communicate with the central server to analyze the network key and the physical key in order to verify that a user of the first user application possesses an ingress permission to an access point.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PAIRING A SENSOR DEVICE TO A USER
20170311116 · 2017-10-26 ·

A method, system, and a computer-readable medium for pairing a wireless sensor device which is associated with a user to a wireless relay device are disclosed. The method, system, and computer-readable medium comprise providing an identification code that includes a network address within the wireless sensor device. The method, system, and computer-readable medium include utilizing an application within a wireless relay device. The application selects the wireless sensor device by using the corresponding identification code, scans for network addresses, and compares the network address to the scanned network addresses. When the network address matches one of the scanned network addresses, the wireless sensor device is paired to the wireless relay device by the application.

Method, terminal, and system for communication pairing of a digital television terminal and a mobile terminal
