Wireless Device Initiated Channel Occupancy in Unlicensed Spectrum
This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to initiate channel occupancy in unlicensed spectrum in a wireless communication system. The wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular base station. The wireless device may determine to perform an uplink transmission to the cellular base station on an unlicensed frequency channel. The wireless device may determine whether the cellular base station has channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel. The wireless device may determine whether to initiate channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel. The decision whether to initiate channel occupancy may be based at least in part on whether the cellular base station has channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel.

The method comprises: if a sidelink (SL) Buffer Status Report (BSR) is triggered by an event, and if a first condition is met, executing at least one of the following: triggering a scheduling request (SR); transmitting a first uplink channel comprising the SR; packeting a BSR, wherein the BSR at least comprises the SL BSR; or performing transmission of a second uplink channel comprising the packeted BSR.
Systems and methods for wireless communication network control
A method for wireless communication network control includes (1) receiving, at an information technology (IT) device, a first steering policy from an application manager remote from the IT device, the first steering policy specifying a first allocation of data among a plurality of wireless communication links available to the IT device; and (2) sending uplink or downlink data from a first application client on the IT device to a mobility manager remote from the IT device over at least one of the plurality of wireless communication links available to the IT device, according to the first allocation of data.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BALANCING SERVER LOAD IN CLOUD RAN SYSTEMS
A method of handling communication traffic from one or more User Equipment (UE) in a Cloud Radio Access Network (CRAN) network includes: analyzing, by an analytics engine in the CRAN network, communication traffic distribution and loads across multiple cell sites; and determining, by the analytics engine, an optimal mapping of one of a specified cell site or a selected sector of a specified cell site to one of a specified virtual machine or server. Communication traffic from a sector of a first cell site having a first type of traffic load profile and communication traffic from a sector of a second specified cell site having a second type of traffic load profile are aggregated by a single specified virtual machine or server.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANAGING NETWORK TRAFFIC IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of generating an uplink classifier (UL CL) via a session management function (SMF) includes: requesting a network data connection and analysis function (NWDAF) to provide data related to the UL CL for controlling a flow of network traffic; receiving the data related to the UL CL from the NWDAF; selecting at least one of a plurality of user plane functions (UPFs) based on the received data related to the UL CL; and creating the UL CL in the selected at least one UPF.
Interference cancellation method and base station
This application describes a data transmission method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method may include determining, by a medium access control (MAC) layer of a terminal device, a first MAC control element and a second MAC control element. The method may also include simultaneously transmitting, by the terminal device, the first MAC control element and the second MAC control element on different uplink transmission resources. The data transmission method, the terminal device, and the network device in embodiments of this application help to improve data transmission reliability.
