METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMICALLY MANAGING WIRELESS RESOURCES IN A RADIO ACCESS NETWORK OF AN ENTERPRISE CAMPUS
A RAN resource allocation method and apparatus that monitors operation and re-allocates wireless resources if radio resource requirements are not met for one or more BS/APS in the RAN. A system is disclosed that orthogonally allocates Bandwidth Parts (BWPs) to the APs in a RAN. The system monitors the radio resource requirements of APs in realtime, and if requirements are not being met, it can transfer radio resources from one BS/AP to another using BWPs. One objective of the invention is to optimally utilize the available spectrum.
Systems and methods for bandwidth allocation at wireless integrated access backhaul nodes
A system described herein may provide a technique for the determination of threshold or maximum bandwidths for links between nodes and/or User Equipment (“UEs”) in an Integrated Access Backhaul system. The maximum bandwidth for a given link may be a function of one or more of: (a) an amount of throughput associated with the link over a given time period, (b) an amount of system-wide throughput associated with the same type of link over the given time period, (c) an amount of throughput over the given time period for links of the same type that are associated with at least a threshold measure of channel quality, (d) a total system bandwidth or capacity, and (e) a total amount of throughput associated with the nodes over the given time period.
LOAD INFORMATION FOR LOAD BALANCING IN MULTI-LINK
In a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) may include a first AP and a second AP, the first AP may operate in a first link, and the second AP may operate in a second link. A station (STA) MLD may receive BSS information related to the first and second links, in which the AP MLD operates, from the AP MLD through the first link. The BSS information may include information related to the number of single radio STAs operating in the first link and the number of single radio STAs operating in the second link. The STA MLD may determine a link, in which the STA MLD is to operate, on the basis of the BSS information.
RAN-AWARE TRAFFIC DISTRIBUTION RULES AND RAN MEASUREMENTS FOR ENHANCED ACCESS TRAFFIC STEERING SWITCHING AND SPLITTING
Present disclosure may relate to an apparatus comprising: memory to store ran access network (RAN) load indicator information or user equipment (UE)-specific RAN condition indicator information; and processing circuitry, coupled with the memory, to: retrieve the RAN load indicator information or UE-specific RAN condition indicator information from the memory; and encode a measurement report message for transmission that includes the RAN load indicator information or UE-specific RAN condition indicator information.
METHODS FOR ACCESS CONTROL, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A method for access control is performed by a base station. The method includes: sending, by a base station, an access control configuration for a multi-modal service, the access control configuration being used for controlling an access initiation of a terminal which is based on the multi-modal service. Another method for access control is performed by a terminal. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, an access control configuration for a multi-modal service, the access control configuration is configured to control an access initiation of the terminal, wherein the access initiation of the terminal which is based on the multi-modal service.

CENTRALIZED CONTROL OF ACCESS POINT RADIOS IN A WIRELESS NETWORK
In a computer-enabled method, at a wireless network access point configured to operate in a wireless network, wherein the wireless network access point comprises a plurality of radios, a load on the wireless network access point is determined, while at least two radios of the plurality of radios are powered on. In response to the load transitioning from above a threshold to below the threshold, at least one of the powered-on radios is powered off while leaving the remaining radios of the plurality of radios powered-on.
METHOD AND NETWORK DEVICE FOR RESOURCE COORDINATION
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method in a Distributed Unit, DU, of a network device is provided. The method includes: transmitting, to a Central Unit, CU, of the network device, a first message containing a request for resource coordination with another network device; and receiving, from the CU, a second message containing a response to the request from the other network device.
SYNCHRONIZED DETECTION OF WIRELESS DEVICE FRAME BY WIRELESS ACCESS POINTS FOR OPTIMIZED ACCESS POINT ALLOCATION BY NETWORK CONTROLLER
In one embodiment, a method comprises causing, by a network controller device, a first access point (AP) device to initiate a reverse sounding operation comprising wireles sly requesting a mobile constrained network device to transmit a null data packet (NDP) at a first transmission interval, wirelessly receiving the NDP at the first transmission interval, and generating a reception report describing reception of the NDP and including beamforming information; causing, by the network controller device, a second AP device to generate a corresponding reception report describing a corresponding wireless detection of the NDP at the first transmission interval; and causing, by the network controller device, the mobile constrained network device to connect to a selected one of the first AP device or the second AP device for an identified data flow based on the respective reception reports from the first and second AP devices.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AND ACTING UPON A VIOLATION OF TERMS OF SERVICE
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining whether a past throughput of past traffic communicated between a communication device and a communication network meets a first threshold value, resulting in a first determination; responsive to the first determination being that the past throughput meets the first threshold, transmitting an instruction to the communication device to restrict a first subsequent throughput of first subsequent traffic to no greater than a second threshold value; determining whether the first subsequent throughput has been restricted, resulting in a second determination; and responsive to the second determination being that the first subsequent throughput has not been restricted, taking one or more actions to enforce a second subsequent throughput of second subsequent traffic to no greater than a third threshold value, wherein the third threshold value is lower than the second threshold value. Other embodiments are disclosed.
