The communication control apparatuses (10) to (12) form a context sharing group that shares subscriber data of the communication terminal. The node apparatus (20) selects a first communication control apparatus in the context sharing group, and transmits a call processing message to the first communication control apparatus. The first communication control apparatus executes the call processing using the subscriber data shared in the context sharing group.

The method includes: initializing a health checkup algorithm at an eNodeB for each MME connected to as per configuration values; starting a health check timer for each MME; continuing with an Initial Attach procedure for incoming calls based on SAE-Temporary Mobile Subscriber Id (S-TMSI), (Globally Unique MME Identifier) GUMMEI, or capacity/load balancing considerations; on every UE attach attempt, incrementing a total calls count; and on every S1 AP Error Indication/no response from an ME, incrementing a total fail calls count; determining when the health check timer for an MME expires; calculating a failed calls/total calls percentage value. Based on the value of the timer, appropriate action is taken.

The method includes: an access network device receives a first message transmitted by a source core network device, where the first message is used for indicating that the source core network device is overloaded; and the access network device, according to the first message, performs an operation of migrating the terminal device from the source core network device to a target core network device, where the target core network device and the source core network device support different communication systems. When a packet data session is established for a user equipment (UE), a comparative assessment of load information factors from different sets of load information factors associated with a plurality of user plane function (UPF) instances may be performed. Each set of load information factors of a UPF instance may include predicted load information factors indicative of a predicted load at the UPF instance. A UPF instance may be selected for the packet data session of the UE based on the comparative assessment. The comparative assessment may additionally consider a predicted load contribution of the packet data session to be established for the UE. A data analytics function may utilize a model (e.g. a multiple linear regression model) to calculate predicted load contribution factors, where the model is derived based on historical usage data from previous sessions of one or more UEs, for example, data from charging data records (CDRs).
