CELL HANDOVER METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A cell handover method is provided. The method is performed by a terminal and includes determining whether to ignore a handover command of cell handover according to a predicted value of a predicted parameter, in which the predicted parameter comprises a mobility and service characteristic parameter and/or a communication performance characteristic parameter of the terminal after the terminal is handed over to a target cell.
Classifying nodes based on mobility state
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may identify one or more parameters indicating a mobility of a served node relative to a serving node. The wireless node may classify the served node within a category, among a plurality of categories, based at least in part on the one or more parameters. In some aspects, the plurality of categories may include at least a first category for served nodes that have a low mobility relative to the serving node and a second category for served nodes that have a high mobility relative to the serving node. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Map generating apparatus for generating reception quality maps based on position quality information and status information
In a wireless communication system, a mobile communication apparatus judges the reception quality available at its current position for direct reception of information transmitted from a fixed wireless station, with the judgement based upon the current position and upon a reception quality map expressing a relationship between reception positions and corresponding reception quality values. If the reception quality at the current position is judged to be sufficient, direct reception is executed, while otherwise, a limitation is placed upon such direct reception, for example by postponing the direct reception until reaching a position at which the reception quality will be sufficient.
Frequency biasing for doppler shift compensation in wireless communications systems
Various aspects related to frequency biasing to compensate for frequency variations caused by Doppler shift in V2V communication systems are described. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus, e.g., a UE, may be configured to determine a velocity of the apparatus, and determine a frequency biasing adjustment based on the determined velocity of the apparatus. The apparatus may be further configured to communicate with UE based on an adjusted carrier frequency determined based on a carrier frequency and the determined frequency biasing adjustment. In some configurations, a driving environment of the apparatus maybe considered, and the frequency biasing adjustment is determined further based on the determined driving environment.
METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR MOBILITY AND CLASSIFICATION BASED RESTRICTED MEASUREMENT LIST CREATION IN VIRTUAL CELLS
In a mobile telecommunications system method neighboring cell list information indicating neighboring cells is obtained. Classification information of cells in the neighboring cell list information is obtained. A mobility state of a user equipment is obtained, and selecting at least one candidate cell to be measured is selected based on the neighboring cell list information, the classification information and the mobility state of the user equipment.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRESERVING MOBILITY INFORMATION IN TERMINAL STATE TRANSITION AND EFFECTIVELY RE-ACCESSING IN HETEROGENEOUS CELL NETWORK IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present invention pertains to a method and device for preserving mobility information in terminal state transition and effectively re-accessing in a heterogeneous cell network in a mobile communication system. A method for estimating a mobility state of a terminal in a mobile communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving, by the terminal, system information from a serving cell during an idle state; calculating mobility state information by using the received system information; storing the mobility state information; and transmitting the mobility state information to a base station when the terminal is connected to the base station. According to one embodiment of the present invention, when an idle state of a terminal is changed to a connection state in a mobile communication system, a mobility state of the terminal can be more effectively estimated.
Neighbour cell measuring
Disclosed is a method comprising determining a first time period during which radio mobility of one or more terminal devices is not expected, determining a second time period during which radio mobility of the one or more terminal devices is expected, determining a first synchronization signal block, SSB, transmission mode that is to be applied during the first time period, and determining a second synchronization signal block, SSB, transmission mode that is to be applied during the second time period.
SLICES FOR APPLICATIONS BASED ON MULTIPLE ACTIVE SIM PROFILES
A wireless communication network receives a first Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) profile from a User Equipment (UE) and authenticates the UE based on the first SIM profile. The network receives a first slice request from the UE and authorizes a first wireless network slice for the UE based on the authentication of the first SIM profile and the first slice request. The network receives a second SIM profile from the UE and authenticates the UE based on the second SIM profile. The network receives a second slice request from the UE and authorizes a second wireless network slice for the UE based on the authentication of the second SIM profile and the second slice request. The network wirelessly exchanges first slice data with the UE over the first wireless network slice, and simultaneously, exchanges second slice data with the UE over the second wireless network slice.
Mobility management method, radio access network, terminal and computer storage medium
Disclosed are a mobility management method, a radio access network, a terminal and a computer storage medium. The method includes: sending, to a terminal, a configuration message, and the terminal reports, according to the configuration message, neighbor cell signal strength or terminal position information; and after a measurement report, which is reported by the terminal and includes the neighbor cell signal strength or the terminal position information, has been received, according to the measurement report and position information of an NG-RAN, determining whether a specified condition allowing the terminal to carry out neighbor cell handover is satisfied, and if so, sending a cell handover message to the terminal, and the terminal is handed over from the current cell to a target cell, and the specified condition is a condition allowing the terminal to carry out neighbor cell handover.
User equipment, network node and methods therein for handling a moving radio access network
A network node of a wireless communication network provides information to a User Equipment (UE) that allows the UE to adapt it radio measurements with respect to the network, to account for link changes. Link changes are service-link and/or feeder-link changes arising from motion by the satellite(s) included in the Radio Access Network (RAN) portion of the network. The UE uses the provided information to adapt its radio measurements in conjunction with the link changes. Among the several advantages of accounting for satellite link changes in the manner contemplated are any one or more of reduced signaling going between the UE and the network, reduced battery consumption at the UE, mitigation of the effects of the link changes on the radio measurements, avoidance of spurious measurements, and an effective automation of the timed changeover by the UE to new measurement configurations, coincident with the occurrence of link changes.
