Emitter and drip irrigation tube
An emitter provided with: a water intake part that communicates with the interior of a tube when the emitter is joined to the tube; a pressure-reducing flow channel part for forming a pressure-reducing flow channel; a flow rate adjustment part for adjusting the flow rate of the irrigation liquid in accordance with the pressure of the irrigation liquid inside the tube; and a discharge part that faces a discharge opening. The flow rate adjustment part has: a base; an accommodation part that accommodates the base; a communication hole that opens to the base and communicates with the discharge part; and a diaphragm part that is flexible and is disposed so as to be separated from the base, the diaphragm part approaching the base when the pressure of the irrigation liquid inside the tube is received.
Soil-covering film, the use of a soil-covering film to protect crops against weeds, and a method for the protection of crops against weeds
A soil-covering film (10), which contains an air and moisture-permeable sheet, preferably a nonwoven sheet, containing biodegradable and/or compostable fibre (12) and, optionally, binding material (14), where the binding force between the fibres reversibly weakens due to the effect of moisture. The soil-covering film (10) may be used by, for example, laying out the soil-covering film (10) on surface of the soil (40); then the seeds (22) of the crop (20) are placed on the soil-covering film (10); the soil-covering film (10) is kept moist until the seeds (22) located on the surface grow roots (24) and the roots (24) penetrate the soil-covering film (10).
Resin composition, melt-forming material, multilayer structure, and agricultural film
A resin composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of 20 to 60 mol %; (B) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of not less than 70 mol %; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the resin composition. The resin composition is resistant to coloration.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY CULTIVATION METHOD FOR HIGH-FREQUENCY DRIP IRRIGATION, WATER SAVING, SEEDLING SURVIVAL AND STRENGTHENING, AND YIELD INCREASE OF COTTON FIELDS IN SALINE-ALKALI SOIL
A high-efficiency cultivation method for high-frequency drip irrigation, water saving, seedling survival and strengthening, and yield increase of cotton fields in saline-alkali soil is provided, belonging to the field of agricultural planting technologies. It mainly includes performing land preparation; setting a planting mode; laying tubes; performing a high frequency drip irrigation; fertilizing with water; performing intertillage; performing chemical control; and performing green prevention and control. The method effectively solves many defects in the existing methods, improves the quality of cotton field preparation and seeding in saline-alkali soil, saves irrigation water, increases the emergence rate and seedling survival rate, improves the saline-alkali resistance of cotton seedlings, increases the yield, and achieves the goal of water-saving, high-quality and high-efficiency cultivation of cotton seedlings in saline-alkali soil.
PLANT PROTECTION MAT AND METHOD TO PROTECT PLANTS AGAINST SALT DAMAGE
A method is provided for protecting a plant from the effects of contact or exposure to salt and/or salt water, comprising placing, around or near the plant: a salt protection mat, comprising: a top layer; a center layer disposed beneath the top layer and comprising superabsorbent polymer particles; and a semipermeable bottom layer disposed beneath the center layer; wherein the top layer reduces or prevents evaporative water loss from the center layer; and wherein the semipermeable bottom layer permits water to seep out from the center layer.
Crop Planting System
A method for planting crops that involves covering the planted seeds of the crop with an elongate sheet of mulch. The elongate sheet of mulch has lateral edges that determine its width. A combustible cord that is affixed to it between the lateral edges. The combustible cord may be formed within plies of the mulch or adhered thereto. The mulch is placed over the planted crop and held in place over the crop. This may be done by burying lateral edges of the mulch. When a user of the mulch wishes to remove the mulch, he will burn the combustible cord and that will separate the mulch along the cord.
MULTILAYER BIODEGRADABLE FILM
This invention relates to a multilayer biodegradable film which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of packaging and is also characterised by appreciable optical transparency properties in addition to high level mechanical properties.
Method of conserving irrigation water using a woven fabric substrate
A woven fabric formed of fabric fibers or threads coated with a hydrogel, wherein said hydrogel is not crosslinked or is partially crosslinked to the fabric fibers or thread, wherein the hydrogel has a number of excess reactive molecules that are available for a reaction with one or more molecules solvated in an aqueous solution, and wherein the reactive molecules of the hydrogel can reversibly bond with the molecules solvated in an aqueous solution, such that the reactive molecules of the hydrogel attract the molecules solvated in aqueous solution when the hydrogel coated fabric substrate is exposed to an aqueous solution.
Tying system employing an accessory bearing a quick attachment hook for tying a plastic film covering for linear cultivations
The invention refers to a tying system employing an accessory bearing a quick attachment hook, for tying a plastic cover film for agricultural crops such as soft fruit covers. Cultivation of soft fruits in covered space has been growing in recent decades. Several solutions have been developed including greenhouses or gable systems. The placement, fastening and fixing of the plastic film is achieved with ropes, elastic cords or soft PVC tubing. However, the cost of binding the plastic film is significant as skilled staff and considerable amounts of man hours are required to tie the plastic film to the supporting structure. Tying the film, in most cases, is carried out by employing knots on grommets that the plastic films.
Soil Biodegradable Blown Film Bag Formulation
A blown film of soil biodegradable aliphatic polyesters produced primarily from diacid and diol monomers. The diacid monomers may be of any type including succinic acid, adipic acid, and hexanedioic acid. The diol monomer may be of any type including ethylene glycol, propanediol, butanediol, and hexanediol. Commercial aliphatic polyesters produced from diacid and diol monomers include polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene adipate succinate (PBAS), and polybutylene adipate (PBA). Comonomers may also be added. Such comonomers include chemicals with a single carboxylic acid, hydroxy, or amine moiety, which act as chain terminators, chemicals with three or more carboxylic acid, epoxy, and/or hydroxy moieties which, act as branching agents.
